Where to flee

to be gone

alone

to nurture me?

Where to hide

my senses taut

overloaded

over wrought

I stumble along

the forest path

between the oaks

please God’s wrath

And there it is

in I go

a clean dive

without a splash

Under the falls

into my grotto,

abditory,

haven from clamoring calls

Through the veil

I see them all

ignite my fire

I set my bail

My way my own

As I have always known

Demands do die

Their plans awry

Until they find

my duty beckons

judgement comes

It always reckons
