I Love You More Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson) Chapter 77
Chapter 77
When Troy found out that Nydia had been arrested, he rushed to the police station immediately.
The result of his investigation was that the surveillance cameras on the sixth floor had been sabotaged, so they could not see what had happened.
The witness at the scene said that he had seen Josephine with Nydia when she was alive. With this evidence, Nydia basically had no chance to prove herself.
Moreover, the Brooks family was biting her hard and insisted that she pay for it with her life.
Troy looked at Nydia through the thick glass. Nydia looked like she was in a sorry state as she had fought with Pythia before coming in. Her face was covered in injuries, and blood flowed from the corner of her mouth.
His grip on the microphone tightened, thinking. In just a few days, that beautiful woman had become a prisoner.
“Now, you need to tell me everything you know so I can think of a way to save you,” he said to Nydia.
Compared to him, Nydia was surprisingly calm.
She raised her hand to push her hair away from her face and looked at him. Josephine has mental problems. I discovered it the day after I went to Mewarting City. Alison can testify it.”
“Alison is your man. The police will take her word seriously. Anyone else?” asked Troy
Nydia pursed her lips and clenched her fists. “Cade and Stuart have sensed it, too.”
Troy did not say anything. Nydia also knew that she had said something stupid.
Cade had asked the police to take her away, so how could he testify for her?
However, if no one could prove that Josephine had a mental illness, Nydia could not be saved.
It was already late when Troy came out of the police station.
He lowered his head and lit a cigar for himself, but he was not in the mood to smoke. He just stared at the flame of the lighter flickering.
Finally, he called the female secretary. “Make an appointment with Cade Jackson.”
The female secretary quickly responded. Troy hung up and was about to leave when a car sped over.
Before the car could stop, a hurried voice came over. “Where’s Nydia?”
Bentley rushed out of the car and was about to go inside when Troy pulled him back.
“Leave her alone, Troy said. “There’s no point in you going in now.”
Bentley looked at him in a daze for a few seconds before shaking him off. He clenched his fists, and his gentle face revealed a rare livid expression. “Where’s Cade? Doesn’t he care about his wife?”
Troy shook his head helplessly and pulled him out in silence.
“I plan to talk to Cade. What you have to do now is find evidence or witnesses that can prove that Josephine has a mental illness. Let’s split up. No matter what, we have to get Nydia out?

With that, Troy patted Bentley’s shoulder. “Bentley, we can’t panic now.”
The veins on the back of Bentley’s hand bulged, and anger rose in his eyes.
He drove away a few seconds later.
There were Christmas gifts and colorful bulbs everywhere in the Wiley family’s villa.
Ryan was painting a Christmas tree while Edda was watching aside.
“Grandpa, your painting is getting better and better. You can take it out to auction now” Edda smiled sweetly at Ryan.
Ryan laughed heartily. “You’re the best at flattery. I didn’t dote on you in vain.”
Edda couldn’t stop laughing at his words.
“Bang!” There was the sound of a heavy door slamming.
Ryan and Edda looked outside.
Ryan’s study room door was facing Bentley’s bedroom, so he noticed the source of the sound at a glance.
Both Ryan and Edda were stunned.
Bentley had a gentle personality since he was young. He rarely had unpleasant emotions, and it was even more impossible for him to slam the door in anger.
gon today?
“Grandfather, I’ll go check Bentley, Edda said. Ryan nodded and said in a deep voice, “Alright, tell me if there’s anything
“Okay.” Edda came to Bentley’s door and knocked a few times.
“Come in,” Bentley said coldly.
Edda paused and walked in.
Bentley was looking for something and did not turn around.
“Bentley, what are you looking for?” Edda was not used to him suddenly becoming so cold and irritable. Even her voice was a
Bentley stopped what he was doing and turned around. Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly looked at Edda. *Edda, I remember that you’re very close to Josephine, right? I heard that you even brought her to our house for dinner last
Edda was shocked inwardly, but she said calmly, “Yes, what’s wrong?”
“She’s dead. You kn
that, right?”
“Yes, I only found out today. I’m very sad for her,” Edda said, her eyes filled with sorrow.
Bentley interrupted her impatiently, “Do you know that she’s mentally ill
Edda’s body froze again, and her face was filled with shock, “Does Josephine have a mental illness? I didn’t know that.”

“Did the really say nothing to you?” asked Bentley.
“Bentley, although I’m friends with her, there are boundaries between friends.”
Bentley was a little dejected. He muttered to himself, “Could we only place our hopes on Cade!”
A trace of panic flashed across Edda’s eyes. “Bentley, what did you just say?”
Bentley then told her about how Troy went to look for Cade. “I hope he can calm down and do a thorough investigation to find evidence and cause of Josephine’s mental illness.”
Edda only heard the word “cause.”
She suddenly clenched her fists. A few seconds later, she suddenly exclaimed, “Bentley, I remember now. Josephine did ask me for a foreign–imported psychotropic drug recently, but the side effects of that drug were too great, so I rejected her.”
“What did you say?” Bentley’s eyes immediately lit up. He rushed over and grabbed Edda’s shoulder. “Can you prove that she has mental illness?”
Edda smiled and nodded, then said sweetly with a frown, “You’re hurting me.”
Bentley quickly let go of her and apologized, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I was just too excited.”
“Bentley, do you like Nydia that much?” Edda stared at Bentley with a smile. When she saw Bentley’s face turn red, she gave a knowing humph. “Since that’s the case, I’ll have to make the trip. After all, I only have one brother.”
Bentley smiled and rubbed her head, pushing her out the door. It’s an emergency. As long as we can save her, I’ll agree to anything you want.”
“Bentley, you have to keep your word,” added Edda..
“Hurry up!” Bentley urged her.
The garden of Creekheim Hospital was exceptionally quiet in the night.
On the mahogany bench, the man smoked without saying a word. The smoke blurred his cold face.
His dark eyes stared unblinkingly at the tightly shut metal door in front of him.
Inside, Josephine was lying quietly.
Stuart walked over from afar and bowed. “Mr. Jackson, Troy Miles wants to meet you tomorrow.”
Cade turned a deaf ear and took a few more puif’s.
The owl suddenly fluttered past the treetops overhead. Stuart turned around and saw Edda.
“Mr. Jackson.” She walked quietly to Cade and gave Stuart a glance.
Stuart nodded slightly and walked away.
A gust of cold wind blew past, causing the man’s shirt to flutter.
Under the moonlight, his peak–like side profile fell into Edda’s eyes. He was as perfect as a priceless piece of art.
She forced down her pounding heart and sat down next to him.
