I Love You More Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson) Chapter 53

Chapter 53

In the study on the second floor of the Jackson Mansion, Orson sat silently on the sofa, looking displeased. Standing in front of him was Cade.

You just can’t control yourself, can you?” Orson tapped his cane on the floor. “Are you willing to sacrifice the Jackson family’s reputation for a woman?”

Cade calmly replied, “She was in danger.”

Josephine had a severe illness after being suspended from work. She was extremely weak, and the doctors had warned that any major emotional shock could lead to a fatal shock.

“Does it concern you?” Orson threw his cane in frustration. “She’s not your wife! Why did you have to do this to Nydia?”

Cade frowned, his teeth clenched tightly. At that moment, he had indeed overlooked Nydia’s feelings. He didn’t know what happened to her later.

Observing Cade’s reaction, Orson sighed. “If you keep pressuring her like this, she will divorce you one day.”

Cade’s eyes narrowed, his expression growing colder. “No, we will not divorce.” He believed Nydia cared too much about the Sharp Group and money to leave the Jackson Group. Moreover, she had declared that she enjoyed her current status and wouldn’t give up the title of “Mrs. Jackson“. How could she maintain her image without him? Divorce was out of the question for her.

However, Orson sensed a deeper meaning in Cade’s words. Regardless of Nydia’s attitude, Cade was determined not to leave her.

“Do you love her?” Orson asked with anticipation, but Cade remained silent.

Orson, known for his straightforward nature, found his grandson’s behavior perplexing. He softened his tone slightly but warned Cade, “This is the second time. If it happens. again, it’s time for you to step down. The Jackson Group doesn’t need a CEO who can’t even handle personal matters.”

Cade bowed slightly and left the room. Watching him go, Orson frowned. He sensed that Cade had some feelings for Nydia, but Cade was not determined enough. Unable to teach his grandson how to love, Orson decided to do something to help them both realize their true feelings for each other.

Chapter 53

Leaving the Jackson Mansion, Cade received a call from Josephine’s mother, informing him that Josephine had fainted again. Feeling irritated, he tried calling Nydia but found her phone switched off. He then called Dara, who informed him that Nydia was already asleep

Cade rubbed his temples and breathed a sigh of relief, assuming that Nydia sleeping meant she was fine. Therefore, he headed straight to the hospital.

Nydia had a restless night, filled with unsettling dreams. In one dream, she threw a divorce agreement at Cade, saying, “Divorce and split the money.” Cade disagreed, crying and begging her not to leave him.

Startled awake, Nydia looked around the empty room, feeling relieved. “Thank goodness it was just a dream,‘ she thought to herself. It was too terrifying!

Nydia quickly finished her breakfast before heading out. Lance waited for her at the intersection. She opened the car door, and despite Lance’s hesitation, she instructed him to sit in the passenger seat.

The car sped up, making Lance grab the handle and advise Nydia, “Nydia, slow down, please. It’s dangerous.”

Nydia slowed down and apologized, admitting she was used to driving fast. The chaotic five years had greatly influenced her. She realized the need for change in the future.

After about an hour and a half, they finally met Justin, who appeared thinner and visibly worn out. Lance couldn’t help but shed tears at the sight of him.

Nydia stood quietly behind Justin, observing his stooped posture, thinking that sometimes it was better not to have any attachments. Loneliness, she believed, was preferable to heartbreak.

“Don’t worry. We’ll be waiting for you,” Nydia reassured Lance. “And I’ll take care of Robin.

Justin wiped his tears, teasing, “If Mr. and Mrs. Sharp knew this, they’d definitely punish

me.”

Nydia felt a pang in her heart, but she remained composed, assuring Justin, “Everything is fine.”

Nydia is divorcing Cade Jackson.” Lance wiped his tears and shared the news with Justin, who didn’t react as joyfully as expected. Instead, Justin suppressed his smile and

asked Nydia, Is it true?”

Nydia tightened her grip on her bag, met Justin’s gaze, and confirmed, “Yes.” Seeing his uneasy expression, she asked, “What’s wrong?”

Justin remarked, “It’s fine. Leaving him is the best revenge!”

‘Revenge? What does that mean?‘ Confused, Nydia was about to ask when the guard approached, saying, “Time’s up. Mrs. Jackson, please leave.”

Lance hurriedly held Justin’s hand and said, “No matter how long it’ll be, I will be waiting for you. Take care of yourself, understand?”

With tears in his eyes, Justin only nodded repeatedly. “Mr. Nguyen, I’m sorry to you, to Nydia, to the entire Sharp Group. I’ve embarrassed you.”

“Let’s go.” Impatiently, the guard came over, escorting Justin out of the room.

As Justin’s figure disappeared at the door, Lance fainted.

Nydia drove straight to the hospital. A combination of coronary heart disease and excessive sorrow led to Justin’s fainting. The doctor said if they had arrived any later, it could have been fatal.

Nydia then hurried to queue up for the hospital admission procedures. While paying, someone tapped her shoulder. She turned around and saw Edda.

Dressed in a white coat, wearing gold–framed glasses, with her hair neatly tied up, Edda appeared rather charming. It seemed that Bentley and Edda were both fond of medicine.

“Miss Sharp, what are you doing here? Is someone ill?” Edda asked, slightly surprised.

Nydia nodded faintly in response.

Edda glanced at the never–ending queue, pulled Nydia aside, and whispered, “I know at faster way. Go handle your business first, you can finish the payment later.”

Nydia wanted to decline, but considering Lance’s serious condition, wasting time wast like wasting his life. “Thank you!” She nodded slightly.

Edda waved her hand, saying, “No worries. Go ahead.”

With Edda’s help, Lance was quickly admitted to the intensive care unit, easing Nydia’s worries. “His condition isn’t too severe. Don’t worry too much,” Edda said as she poured
