Chapter 30
Chapter 30 Did Ms. Garcia Offend You Before
Paul adjusted his mood and walked up to James.
“James, you’re back.”
He wanted to ask where he had gone. Clearly, James had left the Nightshade earlier than him, but he returned later.
However, when he saw James’s gloomy face, he didn’t ask.
James walked past Paul and headed straight for the villa.
As James entered the entrance, the servant, who waited for a long time, greet him with a bow of respect.
James removed his jacket, untic his tie, and handed it to the servant. Then, he walked to the wine cabinet.
He casually picked up two exquisite wine glasses and poured some wine into them. As he turned around and handed the
glasses to Paul, who had been following him.
“What brings you here?” James asked.
Paul rarely came to his private manor. He must have something to tell him, especially at such a late hour.
Paul took the red wine and looked him up and down. Seeing James’ expression, which was not as grim as before, Paul
mustered up the courage to speak.
“James, did Ms. Garcia offend you before?”
Paul was taken aback when he witness James pouring wine on a woman’s head for the first time, James was a gentleman, in
Paul’s mind, he would never do such a thing.
James glanced at him coldly. “It’s none of your business..”
Despite the rebuke, Paul remained unfazed and even probed further, “Is she the woman you keep?” He knew that his brother
had a secret lover, but he had never seen her before.
He would never know who that woman was if it weren’t for his abnormal behavior tonight.
James raised his head and gave him another cold look. “What are you implying?”
Paul planned to probe a bit more, but when he saw how direct James was, he decided not to beat around the bush.
He put away his gentle smile and asked solemnly, “James, have you fallen in love with Ms. Garcia?”
In the Nightshade, when he saw how James had targeted Amelia, he had already guessed that she was the woman who
had been his secret lover for five years.
When he first saw that Amelia looked like Emily, he thought James had just regarded her as a substitute.
But later, when James lost control of himself because of jealousy. Paul knew that James had never been the jealous type, and
this behavior was not a good sign.
