Chapter 492 Matt and Nicholas’ Scheme
One could say that the Wynn Family and the Kean Family were of almost equal social standing, but there was no sign of
romance yet between Reene and Andrew. On the other hand, Mia had started going out with Nicholas!
Driven to the verge of a breakdown by this revelation, Ysabel clenched Reene's hand and said shrewishly, "Reene, how could
you be so disappointing?! Mia isn't even a third as pretty as you are, yet she manages to get herself one rich boyfriend after
another! Why do you have to get involved with this little b*stard instead?!"
Reene bit her lower lip hard. "Mom, I want to be in control of my own life! I don't want to just depend on men like Mia does!"
The instant Mia heard this, she glared and mocked sarcastically, "Stop acting like a goody-two-shoes, Reene! The way I see it,
you simply couldn't get yourself a nice guy because you might have something wrong with your body! I bet you'll shamelessly
throw yourself at whichever man who's willing to sleep with you! You're just a pretentious b*tch, after all."
Reene's chest heaved up and down in anger. "You... You'd better watch your mouth!"
"Haha! Why should I watch my mouth?" Mia said, looking all arrogant. "I'm not only gonna call you names when my boyfriend
arrives. I'm gonna hit you, too!"
Just when Mia was making threats in a frenzy of excitement, Matt and Nicholas were sitting face-to-face, whispering to each
other in the VIP ward of Hill Crest Hospital. Darting a glance at Helen, who was lying asleep on her sickbed, Matt asked under
his breath, "What happened, Nicholas? I just heard you mention Kingsley's name?"
Nicholas nodded. "Dad, Kingsley's at the Wynn Manor right now. I'm going there in a moment to take a look."
"Okay. You did a very good job this time." Matt had a sinister look in his eyes. He said, "I'll see what kind of splash can that
Kingsley brat make as long as you keep getting along well with Mia Wynn!"
Previously, when Kingsley had publicly treated Joshua for paralysis, Matt had been knocked out with tranquilizer bullets by the
men brought by Hades. It was only after he regained consciousness that he learned that Helen had promised Kingsley she
would make him kowtow and apologize to Kingsley in order for Kingsley to treat her with acupuncture. However, he was utterly
unwilling to do so. How could he, the chairman of the Roseland Chamber of Commerce, kowtow and apologize to a brat who
was still wet behind the ears?! Therefore, he secretly came up with numerous vicious plots to blackmail Kingsley while the young

Recalling Kingsley's previous argument with the Wynns at the hospital, Matt thus set his sights on the Wynn Family. At first, he
had wanted to go straight to Clarence, but he had previously kicked the Clark Corporation out of the Roseland Chamber of
Commerce under pressure from the Keans and others. Fearing that Clarence might bear a grudge against him because of this,
he had his son Nicholas take a different approach by finding an opportunity to get acquainted with Mia. After that, they learned

Sitting by his mother's sickbed, he said with a sinister look in his eyes, "Nicholas, your grandmother's condition is worsening by
the day. We've got to get Kingsley to perform acupuncture on her as soon as possible!"

Matt nodded. "Okay. I believe that Nicholson brat will definitely say yes to this! That way, he'll cure your grandmother even if I
don't kowtow and apologize to him!" he said before patting Nicholas on the shoulder. "Both your grandmother's life and my
dignity are in your hands now. Just go to the Wynn Manor and propose to Mia!"
