Chapter 16
Sam P.O.V
I woke up once again to burning on my skin. “Aghhhhhh.” But this time the burning, it was way worse. Brendan laughed his sickening evil laugh, as I screamed and cried in pain.
Cole P.O.V
“Aghhhhhh.” That was her I could faintly hear her screaming.
‘Everyone ready.’ I asked. ‘Yes.’ They all agreed. They had followed my orders, so if anyone was to come out of the church and run then they would be trapped.
Sam P.O.V
“They’ll find you, and they’ll kill you.” I hissed. He looked at me and tilted his head. As a smile grew on his face.
“Ha, yeah, sure, if you haven’t remembered yet, sweety, they won’t come back for you, because then Cole wouldn’t have the hassle of fighting you.” He laughed.
The sudden realisation dawned on me, what if he was right? What if they never came looking for me? No, I can’t think like that.
“If they don’t come because of me, they’ll come to kill you for what you did, with the fire, you know, the one where you killed your own Alpha.” I said. His face turned serious and then he swung his arm back and slapped me in the face with the knife.
I felt blood trickle down the side of my face, my blonde hair sticking to it.
I let a few tears roll down, with the blood. But I didn’t lower my head. I AM ALPHA. I will not bow to him, he doesn’t even have Alpha blood, he has no right to be treated like one.
Cole P.O.V
I kicked open the old double wooden doors. They flew to the other side of the room. There was nothing inside. But I could still hear her screaming and then.....it stopped. I could only think the worst.
There was a trap door I could see, I raced over to it, not giving a damn if there were even fifty werewolves on the other side. I flung it open and ran down the concrete stairs.
I reached a small room with hardly no light, Sam was in the middle lifeless, chained to a chair with what I could smell were made of wolfsbane.
Brendan stood there smirking swinging the knife around. “Oh hello there Cole.” His smirk grew wider.
The members of my pack who I got to follow me down reached the bottom of the stairs.
“Get him.” I growled. They done exactly that and he didn’t even fight back.
“Sam.” I screamed as I ran to her. I knelt down to her level. I took her fragile face in my hands and lifted it. She was unconcious, covered in slick blood, cuts and bruises.
“What did he do to you?” I whispered.
“Someone get me something for the chains. Now.” I yelled.
They searched Brendans pockets and found a key. They passed the key to me and I unlocked the chains. Sam instantly dropped and I caught her.
Picking her up bridal style, trying not to touch the tender cuts. But it was practically impossible, they were everywhere.
“Your to late, she’s gonna die she won’t be able to survive that much wolfsbane.” Brendan laughed, as he was being held down by four pack members, that might seem a lot of werewolves to hold one werewolf down, but he was trained like us. He knew our weaknesses.
I growled at him, showing my canines. He laughed even harder.
Sam P.O.V
I was floating in and out of consciousness, the last thing I remembered was Cole standing at the stairs, staring daggers at Brendan.
I woke up in Cole’s arms. He looked down at me, Cole had a very worried expression on his face.
“Cole.” I said weakly.
“Don’t talk just relax, your safe now.” He said quietly.
And then I seen Brendan. I growled and lunged for him. Elongating my nails, I pinned him against the wall, the pack members were pushed away in the processs. I have no idea where this burst of energy came from. But I was thankful for it.
I growled, my canines showing, my eyes glowing.
