Chapter 31 That Was So Embarrassing
Chapter 31 That Was So Embarrassing
For a moment, everyone felt uneasy.
They mocked Margaret while enjoying her gift from her fans.
"Thank you, Miss Allen, for unboxing it for me." Margaret scanned her surroundings and then calmly took the plum shake from Tracy's hand with a sweet smile.
Tracy's face went pale, and she subconsciously turned around to look at Stephanie.
Stephanie was obviously not feeling the best about things either.
Reality landed a hard slap on her.
Several crew members, who were embarrassed by what they did, quickly apologized to Margaret, "Margaret, we're sorry, we didn't know..."
"It's okay. I'm glad that everyone is enjoying the drink," Margaret said, not haggling over things at all.
Everyone heaved a sigh of relief. "Margaret, you are so nice. No wonder you have such a generous fan," someone complimented.
"Yes, yes," the others echoed.
As everyone had their share of plum shake, courtesy of Margaret, they had no choice but to change their stance and begin supporting her instead.
"Stephanie, why didn't you clarify this? We thought the gifts were for you," one of the crew members complained.
Another person covered his mouth and giggled secretly. "Stephanie thought it's for her as soon as she heard 'Miss Simons'. She didn't expect that they were for Margaret."
"Exactly! And to think that Tracy even had the gall to ask who should she give the last bottle of plum shake to. If I were her, I would find a hole and hide in it," they said amongst themselves.
"Crack!" Listening to the murmurs, Stephanie was so infuriated that she broke the fan in her hands.
She felt her face burning as if someone had slapped her in the face.
"You useless piece of trash. It's all your fault. Are you happy now that you have embarrassed me?" Stephanie glared at Tracy fiercely. "You told everyone that the gift was mine before even making sure." "Stephanie, don't be mad. Don't even bother arguing with that little b*tch. Though the card stated that it was from her fan, but it might be from her sugar daddy." Tracy comforted her. Meanwhile, Tracy thought to herself, "Didn't you also boast that it was Zachary who sent the gifts?" But she didn't dare to say that. It was more important to take care of Stephanie's emotions at the moment.
"You're right. I shouldn't compare myself to that b*tch!" Stephanie was obviously jealous, but she still tried to comfort herself.
"Yes, you can just overshadow her and embarrass her during filming!" Tracy nodded quickly.
Stephanie was an experienced actress, while Margaret was just a rookie. They were confident that Margaret's acting skills were definitely no match for Stephanie's. Before long, shooting started.
Queenie, who was played by Stephanie, was a daughter of a noble family. The first scene was Queenie leaving a jewelry store and the car she was in almost ran over Tiana, who was played by Margaret, in a beggar's clothes.
Stephanie had changed into a sleek dress which helped draw out her slender and curvy body figure, along with her beautiful facial features.
Margaret also had gotten changed. As soon as Tracy saw Margaret, she couldn't help guffawing with her hands covering her mouth.
"Hahahaha, Stephanie, look at her. She looks just like a beggar in this outfit. Maybe she is destined to be a beggar!" Tracy mocked Margaret loudly.
Stephanie could not hold back her laughter when she saw Margaret in the dirty clothes either.
The assistant director, who was standing nearby, overheard their words, and sighed helplessly.
Margaret did look like a beggar, but that was the whole point. It was part of her job to act as a beggar, so it was completely normal for her to be in character.
This was the moment Stephanie lost the last bit of her spirit and impression as an elegant and noble-born young lady.
