His Wife (A Contract Marriage Story) by Heer Mangtani

Chapter 127

Chapter 127
[MIA]
There was a pungent scent of a gas around me and blood, so much blood. Blood was the only thing I felt trickling down me and
my body ached. It took so much energy to be able to open my eyes, and so much more to comprehend what was happening
around me.
I was in a car, judging by the movement outside the window. A moving car.
“Al-Alex?” I breathed.
I out more of my energy to open my eyes when his comforting voice didn’t make its way to me.
“Alex?” I hoped I was calling audibly. My voice was nothing more than a little whisper.
“She’s awake!” A foreign voice screamed. He was so loud, it hurt my ears. “Why is she f*g a**wake?”
That’s not Alex. This isn’t my-
My thoughts came to an abrupt halt when something hit me on my head. Sharp, the pain shooting inwards. I gasped, wanting to
scream, but no voice came out.
My eyes just shut again.
The next time they opened, I felt a lot more stronger, but I couldn’t move my hands or my legs as if there was a
weight binding me to my place.
My eyes flung open, a dumb decision in retrospective. I should have just keep my eyes shut till I find out if it was
safe.
T
But as soon as my vision focused, a beaten up Dominic was all I saw in front of me.
His eyes were half-open.

“Dominic!” I whispered without caring about who could see me. “Dominic!”
His eyes opened a little more at my voice. “Mia...” he whispered in return, sounding pained. “Sir will come.”
That’s when I notice the blood dripping down his forehead, and all of it covering his abdomen. Was he shot? The wound on his
stomach looked like a gunshot.
“Dominic!” I called for him again, “Stay with me.”
Chapter 127
“I’m sorry I couldn’t...” he couldn’t speak. It looked like he wanted to shut his eyes.
Tears rimmed my eyes. “Dominic,” I called again, “Stay with me, okay?”
He doesn’t reply. I look around. We were tied on the floor of an old warehouse, and it was in the basement judging from the lack
of windows. The door was dusty, and I’m pretty sure I saw a mouse running in the distance.
I was hurt in the blast, but my wounds had stopped bleeding. That’s why I felt stronger.
How did these people manage to kidnap me in a house full of trained soldiers?
Alex. Oh, Alex...
“Dominic,” I call him again, “Who are these people? Do you know?”
He feebly shakes his head. “Insider job...”
My heart sinks. Was Alex okay? How long had it been since I was taken? Would he find me?
“Just stay, okay?” I try shifting closer to him so that my feet touch his, but the ropes tie us down in place.
Before I could think of anything else, the door flies open, and two men walk in. They were huge by build, tall and both of them
had beards. One being a ginger and the other being blonde.
“How the f**k do you keep waking up?” The ginger asks, looking unhappy with it.
I gulp. “Please..” I mutter. “Who are you?”

S
“Let’s just say your husband has p**d off a lot of people,” The blonde answers, walking closer to me. I shudder when he kneels in
front of me. “The Alex King got f**g married. His enemies are having a field day knowing even the mighty has a weakness.”
The tears fall when his knuckles trail the skin of my cheeks and I try moving farther from him, but the ropes keep
me in place.
“Maybe she’s that good of a f**k,” The ginger quips.
“What do you say we find out?” The latter’s eyes fall from my eyes to my lips and then to my breasts, slowly trailing
downwards.
I reflexively press my legs closer to each other. “Please...” I cry out.
“We can knock you out while we do this.” The blonde offers, “But won’t you want to feel this? My d**k stretching
your p**y as you ask me to stop. And guess what? My friend there will record it and send it to that f**k*r of your husband. The
only thing he ever loved, he failed to protect.”

Chapter 127
A s**b escapes my lips. “NO... please...” I beg, helpless.
It calls to deaf ears because the guy holds my shoulders any way, freeing me of the ropes that tie my stomach- ones I hadn’t
even realised were there.
He throws me on the ground, and the moment my back hits the floor, the pain shoots up again and I cry out.
The moment I felt his weight on me, he is kicked off.
My lips quiver, and my blurred vision sees Dominic kicking that guy off me with all the strength he could gather, which was
enough. “Run, Mia,” he snaps.

“Not without you,” I cry out while struggling to get up with my legs tied to each other, crawling to him and undoin his hands with
my tied ones.
Before I could get anywhere, the ginger finds his way to us. “Did anyone f**g ask you to speak?” He screams at Dominic. “We
were giving you a show, but you don’t f**g deserve one.”
A pained scream escapes me when the back of his gun hits Dominic in the forehead, causing one of the strongest men I know to
fall to the ground next to me.
“No...” I whimper, tears streaking down my face.
I needed to run. I needed to run.
Imake the go for it. I wasn’t fast, my legs tied and all, but I try.
Even when I feel one of the men pulling my hair and I cry out in pain, I try hitting them away. kicking in the air till one of my kicks
lands on the man’s shin, but it just aggravates him more.
with
my
tied hands,
“Alex...” I cry before the man’s palm holds my mouth, m**g my screams. I shake my head frantically. “Alex...” |
cry, even though logically I knew he couldn’t hear me, I prayed he would.
