This mating has altered so many things! And I believe it has granted us an advantage we hadn’t foreseen! I need to work on the mind sight. We need to know how it works! We have made it back to the conference room to see if there are any new developments. This Culver boy needs to understand that I am not the one!

Anna touches a block on the TV…bringing it to full screen and says “listen” as she rewinds it by twenty minutes. Culver is talking to three men..” You guaranteed the girl was there! She’s unmistakable. Her eyes are undeniably identifiable! Her hair is as blonde as stark sunlight! And you said she has been seen! Then why…Tell ME why is she not here!!?” The man he was yelling at tried placating “My Lord…obviously Gregor’s intel was incorrect! He promised to have the girl at his pack and available to you. When he called and said he would need more money..that’s when we realized he was lying. But if his intel is even partially correct..we can work with that! The distance between here and Gregor’s pack makes it difficult to maintain any surveillance though.” Culver screams “Then we move! We take our base of operations closer! Gregor’s pack is empty now…right!!? Prepare for the move!”

I jumped up! “Got him! Marcus…assign warriors…200 of them…have them head to Gregor’s…clear his office of any pertinent documents and information…any laptops..I want all of that here.. then, I want that pack…every structure…destroyed! Burned down..torn down…absolutely obliterated! Let them arrive to nothing!”

Brady agrees “Brilliant! We will force him into rash action!” Anna smirks “He’s ordering his minions to destroy Flaming Rose! I’m sorry, Marcus..but this is a good thing.. In as much as he will have nothing to return to once he discovers he has nothing at Gregor’s” Sabrina speaks up “Won’t that push him to attack and kill another whole pack?”

I say “Good point, Sabrina! Brady..we need to call every pack within 500 miles of us. Alert them to condition Red! And to initiate attack protocol. Send Culver’s picture out. They need to know who they are watching for! As for cause…simply cite the three packs we know of, that he has annihilated. Nothing more specific than that…well…other than he is a psychopath!”

I turn to Anna and Axel..”Okay hackers! Time to prove your worth… can you get into Gregor’s packs financials? Flaming Rose? We need to kill his cash cows! Can’t support an army without funding! Anna..you already have control of Silver Blade’s accounts..correct?” She responds “I had control of everything Silver Blade as soon as the attack began. We will grab any money and assets from both packs we know they’ve taken” I reply “excellent! Belinda…Sabrina…I want you to research any attacks on packs in the last six months..focus on any that have been destroyed! And Bonnie…I want you to call your old Alpha..explain to him there are attacks happening and, we are willing to send warriors to defend them” She began to cry… to sob…and Othello pops in my head 🐺 Fuck! What did you do? Fix it! Make it stop! I will have to kill Axel now! You made his mate leak and he’s gonna be pissed and thinking he can hurt us! FIX it! I say “I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to make you cry..although Othello called it leaking..which is kinda funny, actually..but I didn’t mean to” Axel screams “It’s not funny you twat!” Then Marcus pipes in with “It’s kinda funny!” Bonnie yells “I’m fine! I cried because I was relieved and grateful that our Alpha thought to protect and defend a pack of farmers he’s never even met! Geeezzz!” And Anna fell on the floor laughing! While the other two girls snickered.

Then it dawns on me…I heard all their thoughts…time for some fun! “Axel..the next time you think you can pop my head like a grape…just remember…I can kill you seven ways from Sunday before you left your chair” Everyone gapes at me…Axel says “I didn’t..I thought…I meant..I didn’t say that out loud!” And my sweet Anna laughed harder! Marcus smirks “Not being Captain Obvious here…but looks like we know how this mind sight thing is gonna work!” This time..we all laugh!.

Sabrina stands and says “I’m hungry.” Belinda responds “Random..but okay..” Bonnie runs for the door shouting “I will grab snacks” behind her and Anna yells “COFFEE “ and I am left wondering when the control of this meeting flew out the window..with Othello snarking 🐺 When you made Bonnie leak! Thanks, Othello! Thanks a pantload! I need a drink! Walking over to the sidebar, I poured a tall scotch, with my mate jumping up saying “Oooh yess! Much better idea than coffee!” And pours herself one. She is my perfect match..in every way.

Brady asks “Don’t you have that meeting with Alpha Robert at 4 today?” I sigh “I thought tomorrow…are you sure? Dealing with him is not high on my list of priorities.” Brady agrees “But this has been scheduled for three weeks and it’s not like we can just cancel..he’s arriving from Nevada in a couple hours..and he never verified who was coming with him” I growl “I swear to Goddess, Brady…if his bloodsucking daughters are with him..I will snap Your neck!” Anna says “Whoa…whoa..hold up! Everyone calm down.. How many are usually in his entourage? I will get rooms ready. And as for his daughters…. I believe their attention will fall to the Luna’s entertainment…” and I groan..”I see an alliance falling by the wayside.. All I ask is you Try not to kill them” she smirks “Gonna give it my best shot!” And she smiles so sweetly, you’d almost believe butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth..before she follows with “Now…explain why the bond stretched with anxiety when these daughters were mentioned “ I pinch the bridge of my nose…and here we go “I ummm…sort of dated the older daughter, Allison…for about three months…several years ago..and yes..I fucked her. Once! Only one time. And she leeched onto me…telling everyone she was my chosen Luna. Even told her parents. They had planned her entire ceremony….showed up here..determined to have that same ceremony before they went back to their pack in the Sierra Nevadas. I ended up throwing them out of the house and off our lands. Took over two years before Andrew decided he needed my alliance more than his succubus needed to be my Luna. The kicker is the younger daughter set her sights on Axel! And she’s as bad as Allison. I’m sorry, baby. It was only once…and it was awful!” And Anna cracks up! Wasn’t expecting That reaction.but okay!! She smiles “ So…we don’t know if the daughters are coming with… but there’s a good chance they are. Good to know! We need a little fun around here! I’m gonna prepare rooms and see to our dinner menu!” And she moves to leave…I jump up and pull her close to me asking her to please…don’t be mad. She whispers “I’m not mad, at all Baby.. you have a past…who am I to judge? I am your present and your future! The ‘other woman’ don’t scare me” and she giggles as she waves bye..

I look at Brady…. “This is gonna be a shitshow”
