Chapter 15 // part two

Inayat's pov

Don't know how many minutes passed, it felt like hours.

I heard the futile attempts of beated man to stood up.

He called me many times but I was numb.

I had no where there. Both of them left me.

Because of this man.

Anger rushed through me.

Mind was still numb.

To feel something in me, I removed my sandal and hovered over the man and started beating me.

"Ahhh ahhh Abey pagal ho gayi hai kya!!? Maine tera kya bigada!!!? Ahhhh lag rahi hai "

He yelled and coughed the blood.

But I didn't stop.

"Sab kuch barbaad kar dia tune!! Teri wajah se sab kucha hua hai!!"

I yelled with tears.

Throwing the sandal, I kicked him with my leg.

He gripped it and pleaded against it,

"Maaf kar de jaane de na!"

I struggled to free my leg.

But he tried to twist it and I fall backward colliding with wall.

Wall of a warm chest.

My eyes moved in nano second to meet the captivating grey ones.

Tears poured out of mine.

"Shh.. rote nahi hai, jaan"

He whispered and wiped my tears.

Then I saw, the one iron rod in one hand, gripped by Ghuni and Vikrant ji.

There eyes were distant and mad.

Then I understood, they heard what he told me.

First, Ghuni went and thrashed the man with rod.

I closed my eyes and hid in his arms.

But he moved me away making me face a wall.

Patting my head, he left and thrashed him with the rod he held.

Both of them were yelling their anger out.

I didn't stop.

Moksh was their culprit.

After few minutes, everything went silent.

Only the harsh breathes could be heard.

With shuddering body, I turned and tried to not look at bloodied lifeless body.

Ghuni and Vikrant ji were convered in red blood like a paint splashed on them.

Their eyes meet me.

My tears poured

They dropped the rod and ran to me.

They hugged me on each sides.

I patted their back with weak hands.

"Everything will be okay."

I cooed, a non existent promise, making their hold tightened on me.
