Chapter 11
Emily's POV
I watched in disbelief as that wretched girl Bianca somehow managed to revive Ethan from the brink of death with her alleged healing powers. As he stirred back to life, locking eyes with her in a sickening look of gratitude, a wave of anguished fury washed over me. How dare she! How dare this insignificant wretch worm her way even deeper into Ethan's life, turning him against me further with whatever dark magic she had just summoned! The sacred bond we were destined for was unraveling by the moment in the face of her vile trickery.
Ethan came closer and kissed Bianca deeply, an unforgivable slight against all we were
fated to be. I could no longer control the emotions raging within me.
"No!" I cried out, my voice breaking. "I won't allow this....this Rubbish to continue!"
All eyes turned towards me, but I didn't care about the judgment or shock on their faces. Ionly saw in shades of red, my obsession reaching a fever pitch. Ethan turned towards me, a patronizing look of warning flashed across his features. But I
refused to be cowed, not again. No matter what lies and manipulations Bianca had
performed, she would not take my destiny with Ethan from me!
I lunged forward with a loud scream, wildly attacking the deceitful person who had stolen my mate's love. Bianca screamed in surprise, trying to back away as I scratched her face. Suddenly, a force field appeared, throwing me back and causing me to crash onto the stone floor. I lay there, dazed and struggling to breathe.
Ethan stood between us, his arm outstretched and still crackling with energy from the shield he had created to protect Bianca. His eyes were filled with fierce anger as he
looked at me without pity.
"Enough, Emily!" he commanded in a firm, unyielding voice. "Your fantasies end here and now! I won't let you hurt my mate or anyone in my home again."
I shook my head furiously, my lips curling in a silent snarl of defiance. How could he not
see the truth after everything we had meant to each other? It felt like my soul was being
torn apart.
"She is a curse on all of us!" I screamed, pointing a trembling finger at Bianca's stunned face. "She has trapped you with her evil tricks and turned you against our destiny! I can't
let this happen!"
I tried to get up again, determined to face my rival and take back what was mine. But Ethan blocked my way, full of threat and finality.
"Calm down, Emily," he said, his words filled with power. "Your hold over me is gone. I've seen the true chains you tried to bind me with, and I've broken them completely. We're finished!"
"No... no...!" I clutched my head, feeling like I was in a nightmare as the cruel reality hit me. Somehow, by helping Ethan, Bianca had permanently broken the bonds I had created around us with deceit and magic.
The world began to spin and blur as my obsession, once my only purpose, fell apart. I felt the supernatural connection I had with Ethan unravel, sparks of painful energy searing my soul.
A scream of deep anguish and loss tore from my throat. Everything I had planned and worked for over years, even decades, was destroyed by that girl's deceit and Ethan's betrayal.
I clawed desperately at the gaping wound in my spirit, my mind unraveling under the overwhelming catastrophe. My vision became hazy, and the last thing I saw was Bianca shrinking away in fear while Ethan watched me with a cold, closed expression.
The distant sounds of shouting and movement faded as a roar of rejection filled my ears.
I stumbled blindly, feeling only the burning pain of my lost obsession.
Then, finally, darkness took over. I gave in to the relief of nothingness, my mind breaking apart as I fell into the endless void.
Bianca's POV
Emily collapsed to the floor, her mind completely shattered by the agonizing loss of her obsessive bond with Ethan. As she fell into the blessed oblivion of unconsciousness, Everyone in the room watched in stunned silence.
Ethan's face remained impassive as he observed Emily's crumpled form. He then turned to me, his expression softened ever so slightly.
"Are you alright?" he asked, gently touching the scratches on her face from Emily's attack.
I nodded shakily, still trying to process everything that had happened. "I...I think so," she replied, her voice trembling.
The Queen Mother stepped forward, her gaze moving between Ethan and me with a mixture of wonder and wariness.
"What just occurred here?" she demanded. "And how did you break the king free from such a spell?"
Ethan took a deep breath, his arm still protectively around my waist.
"It was Bianca," he explained simply. "When she saved my life with her healing powers, it forged a new connection between us - one stronger than the twisted bond Emily had tried to force upon me."
The Queen Mother's eyes widened as she looked at Bianca.
"Thank you for saving my son, but it doesn't mean I accept you as his mate. Emily still remains the mate I know.
I shook my head, still trying to process everything that had transpired.
"I...I didn't mean to cause such upheaval," I stammered. "I only wanted to help."
Ethan's grip on her tightened reassuringly.
"And you did far more than that," he murmured. "You freed me from a poisonous obsession that had consumed my life for too long."
He turned to address the gathered crowd, his voice ringing with authority.
"Emily's delusions and attempts to control me have been broken, once and for all," he declared. "From this day forward, Bianca is my true mate - in spirit, in deed, and in the eyes of our people."
Then he called some of the guards to pick Emily up and take her to one of the chambers where the healer would attend to her.
We all returned back to the kings chamber, I went to complete the treatment I was giving him. I still don't know how I was able to revive him but thank Goodness he didn't die. Rumors would have spread round the pack that I had killed someone again.
Few minutes later we received a message from one of the guards, Emily had woken up and has gone missing, she was nowhere to be found.
Upon hearing the message dear gripped me, what if she comes back and tries to harm
me.
After several thoughts I decided to ask Ethan a question that has been bothering me.
"Now that Emily is no longer bound to you, what would become my fate?" I asked him.
Ethan turned to me with a thoughtful expression as he considered my question. He was silent for a moment, carefully choosing his words. "Your future is something only you can truly decide, Bianca," he said slowly.
I was confused by his cryptic response. Before I could ask for clarification, he continued
speaking.
"When I first asked you to pretend to be my mate, it was a desperate attempt to break
free from Emily's toxic control over me, no matter the cost." He looked directly at me. "At first, I saw you only as a means to an end."
My heart hurt at this blunt admission, even though I knew already. Ethan must have sensed my reaction, as his expression softened a little.
"And yet..." He reached out and gently brushed a stray strand of hair from my face in an unexpectedly tender gesture. "You have proven yourself to be so much more than that. Your bravery, determination, and willingness to risk everything to help me..."
He trailed off, and a deeper emotion flickered across his chiseled face. When he spoke Again, his voice carried a sincerity I had never heard from him before.
"You have become far more than just a ploy, Bianca. By saving my life and helping me break Emily's cursed obsession, you have forged a bond between us that goes beyond any mere arrangement. Right now, I want you to be not just a disguise mate but my true ma..........."
He didn't complete his statement when we heard a loud bang.
