My favourite time of year

It’s officially summer and we have some sun at last. We’ve decided to head to the beach today. The beach is a lovely scenic half hour drive from the pack house where I’ve been studying pack politics for the past three days with the current Luna and mother to my strikingly handsome twin mates, Jas.

The whole gang have come along for the day trip, I am in dire need of a tan top up.

The sky is a beautiful shade of blue, the breeze carrying the salty scent of the sea across the warm golden sand.

I put on my lemon 2 piece today made up of high waisted boy shorts and a bikini top with a little frill on the shoulder straps, added my white sarong and sun hat, my stunning gold frame purple lens sun glasses and my cute white strappy sandles decorated with pretty daisy’s to top off my perfect beach vibes look. I feel like I’ve just walked right out of a film, my blonde locks are flowing down my back in loose curls that dance around in the warm breeze.

It has been 2 months since I became an official pack member and I’m finding juggling school, some very needy mates and Luna training a lot! I am so happy we have a month’s leave from school now.

Jas and Joseph have expressed that they think I am doing amazing and that I have picked up a lot in a short space of time, the twins are as besotted with me as I am them and just as protective. Aries is looking around as we walk his face in a scowl, though he loves the way I look today he would rather not have ‘men drooling over his woman’ I had laughed when he said it but his face remained serious. Aries still has alot of jelousy to work on. Ajax took one look at my outfit, wolf whistled and stalked around me getting a good look then smacked my arse. Ajax returned to the closet to get his yellow swim shorts so we could match whilst Aries looked on and said, ‘surely you can’t be OK with our little Luna strutting about in underwear in public’. Ajax shrugged him off and laughed telling him that it’s them that get to touch and take me home. Aries just scowled a little more at me and his brother.

We’re walking along the beach Aries carrying my sandals in one hand, his other just a little low on my back I’m pretty sure he’s trying to use one of his huge hands to cover my butt from view. I let out a little giggle at the thought.

“Something funny Luna?” Aries asks his eyebrow raised in question a slight smile tugging at his perfect full pouty lips.

“Hmm nothing my Alpha, just a little thought I had.” I reply leaning up on my tip toes to place a kiss on his cheek. He blushes slightly and smiles down at me. Ajax pouts at me on the other side holding my hand I smile and he leans down for me to plant a kiss on his cheek too, satisfied he isn’t missing out he goes back to admiring the beauty of the beach as we walk.

“Cici, here is perfect, stop there.” Rach shouts as her and the girls come jogging up to catch up, it’s like watching a scene off bay watch all these dazzling women jogging across the beach clad in just their sexy swim wear.

“Damn you guys look h.o.t” I tell the girls.

“Always got to be ready incase our mate comes along huh.” Kay replies with a wink, we all giggle as the guys grumble setting out the towels for us to lay on.

“Cici can wear her towel over the top of her” Aries says in a dry voice somehow joking but quite happy for me to do it too.

“Aries shove off, Cici looks good and your brother is chill about it, leave her be.” Titan smarts at Aries.

His eyes go black and he let’s out a small growl making all of us laugh at how possesive he is. “Well thankyou for the compliment Titan, now you guys go run along and play macho in the water and we will appreciate with our eyes closed whilst tanning.” I say as the other girls nod in agreement.

“But then you won’t see me kick everyone’s ass at water wrestling baby” Ajax whines.

“I’ll watch a little but all you guys in shorts with those ripped bods out don’t growl at me if my eyes slip to ogle the wrong one.” I jest sticking my tongue out at him.

“Cierra” come Aries tone. “I know you are joking but your going to pay for that when we get home.” He whispers close to my ear sending shivers across my body and causing heat to pool between my legs.

“Good job Alpha, now she’s turned on and ogling the muscles.” Rach teases.

Aries rolls his eyes and he and the other guys run down the beach a little to the water and go wading in full force I lay myself down on my towel and close my eyes enjoying the warmth of the sun’s rays beating down on my skin.

The girls and I sun bathe and chatter away amongst ourselves, the guys come back over and take a drink order and go off to one of the many bars and eateries surrounding the beach. Ajax brings me back a strawberry shortcake ice cream and Aries brings me a sex on the beach mocktail and places it next to me the colours in these things always amaze me, it looks just like a sunset, the guys all join us while we eat and drink and they’re soon back off in to the sea.

I nodded off at some point because I come around feeling water dripping on to me, I smile thinking its probably one of my Alpha’s come to check on me out of the sea. I slowly open my eyes shielding them from the sun the figure above me certainly isn’t one of my Alpha’s and he certainly doesn’t smell like chocolate orange and freshly baked cookies, I crinkle my nose at the smell that takes over my senses.

“Hey pretty lady, I think ill keep you he smirks.” I hear a couple other male laughs and look around. Four men have us girls surrounded, I shout Rach and she sits bolt upright triggering the other girls they all jump to their feet.

“Back up lads, your making a big mistake.” Nicole says as Rach, Manda and Kay form a circle around me.

The man that spoke first cocked his head looking at me as though figuring something out.

“Ah, she’s your Luna. Even better, I can clearly see your not marked though in that get up.” He sneers, a suggestive look crossing his smug features.

His gaze is so intense I want to look away but in the split second it takes for me to blink the guy is yanked back and an all out brawl breaks out infront of my eyes. Titan and Rach stand either side of me whilst Ry is behind me and Ajax is infront of me. Aries, damn is he mad. He grabs the guy that Titan has just removed from near me and picks him up by the throat effortlessly with a growl.

The guy bows his head. Aries punches him in the face, blood spattering as his nose makes a sickening crunching sound as Aries fist connects with it, the smug man, now bloodied drops to the floor and Aries kicks up meeting his chin with his foot with the force to snap his head upwards and throw him back in to the sand.

“I am Aries one of the future Alphas of High Moon, the lady you were just trying to claim is the future Luna.” Aries spits out through gritted teeth.

“I wasn’t trying to claim her.” The guy stutters.

“Did you not say, ‘I think ill keep you’? To my Luna?” Aries questions staring at the beaten man on the floor below him.

“Yes, but I didn’t know she was yours or a Luna.” He replies.

I step to the side of Ajax and link my fingers through his, I step forward but he tries to still me and put me back behind him. I glance at him and move him with me to Aries side. I place my hand on Aries arm his head swings round to me quickly and his face softens as he takes me in.

“Aries, please enough for today my Alpha.” I say directly to him looking in to his eyes. They flash black and I know he is fighting his wolf for every ounce of control because Ersa is in my head egging them on to kill whoever dare even look their Lunas way.

He smiles softly at me. “Okay Luna, but you owe me.” He says smirking. “Deal Alpha.” I say and bow my head to him and I know that control just changed his whole mood.

You gotta help me out when he’s mad at me baby. Aries says in my head. I chuckle inwardly at how different my Alpha’s are. Aries eyes are now back on the man and his friends look on waiting for the Alpha’s decision.

“Gentlemen, it seems my Luna would like to spare your lives. She is overly generous, should myself, my brother or one of our ranking members catch you even looking at her again... she will not get to decide your fate... leave.”

The men scurry to pick up their friend. I’m assuming that because they smell off that they are Rogue wolves, Luna Jas has told me about them, that they use women to breed and make their Rogue pack bigger. The thought makes me shudder as a chill runs through me, Aries notices and pulls me in to his arms as the group runs away. He buries his handsome face in to my neck and inhales my scent calming us both. Once Aries has calmed himself he whispers in to my ear. “My love, you could not imagine the world of trouble you have gotten yourself in to today. Let’s go home.” He leans back looks at my face and leans in to place a soft kiss on my lips. He let’s me out of his embrace and I’m pulled straight in to Ajax, “Baby we can’t take our eyes off you for a minute, Aries is going to be pissed at me for agreeing with you on the outfit now. Think I can pout at him and make it better?” Ajax laughs out, I playfully smack his arm and join in his laughter as we walk back towards the cars to head back to the pack house, we’ve had enough fun for one day.
