- Special Cake for Rowan
Jeremy caught a signal from Frank’s gaze. Feeling that the situation was still under control, he nodded faintly.
Meanwhile, the candles were already lit. The guests sang for the twins while occasionally glancing at Rowan. Frank and Kara were doing the same. Although they were suspicious and feeling threatened, they applauded as if there was no problem.

“But this is our birthday cake, Great Grandpa. This is a sign of our love for you because you are special to us.” Louis pushed the spoon closer.
Rowan snorted. His eyes narrowed slightly. “Why do you guys think I’m special?”
“Because you’re our great-grandfather, and we are family,” Emily
answered in a sweet voice. “Come on, Grandpa. Eat it! The tip of a spoon is fine too.”
Kara and Frank started to move restlessly. Rowan’s refusal was too obvious. However, just as they were about to pull the twins back, the old man took the spoon from Louis’ hand.
