Hey, My Twins Babies

Chapter 94 No Interfering with Each Other's Private Life

Winnie felt as if she were dreaming, and couldn't believe that the person in front of her was Brian.

She asked in a low voice. Because of the coldness, her voice was a little hoarse.

"Why are you here?"

"You've been out for such a long time without your cell phone. Now it's raining. If I didn't come to find you, I'm afraid that you'll die in the rain!"

It was a little malevolent for Brian to say so, but he couldn't control himself because Winnie had worried him too much.

"I won't die. I have a lot of things to do and a lot of debts to pay. I don't have the right to die."

Winnie failed to restrain herself and smiled bitterly. There were tears in her eyes again.

"You..."

When Brian was about to reproach her loudly, he accidentally touched her forehead.

"Your forehead's burning. Have you got a fever?"

Brian put his hand on Winnie's forehead and tried to figure out if she really got a fever.

"Really? Have I got a fever? It's not bad to have a fever. In the past four years when I was not here, I didn't even dare to allow myself fall ill. Now, I finally dare to allow myself fall ill. It proves that my life is getting better."

Winnie said desolately. As a matter of fact, her life wasn't getting better, but getting more miserable.

"Are you delirious? You're talking nonsense."

Brian said coldly, but it made his heart ache to hear that.

He understood what she meant by saying those words, but he didn't know what she had gone through in the past four years. What a difficult life did she live in those years? She couldn't even allow herself to get sick.

He not only pitied her, but also loved her... Love...It was impossible. He had a beloved woman. Winnie was just a temporary substitute. His feelings for her were far from to be called love.

Brian withdrew his hand, looked straight, started the car and drove towards home.

Winnie felt it was getting colder and couldn't help shivering. However, she didn't tell Brian.

She leaned her head against the window feebly, looked outside at the still heavy rain and felt a sense of loss.

"Is your beloved woman nice?"

Winnie asked casually. She wasn't fishing for information, but just wanted to know if that woman would be as vicious as Penny.

After keeping silent for a while, Brian answered.

"Yes, she is."

"Great."

Although Brian said so, Winnie was still a little worried.

"Brian, let's make an agreement. If that woman doesn't like Luke after she comes back, you'll let me to take Luke away. Anyway, he'll be able to grow up healthily with my company."

She could let Luke grow up healthily both physically and mentally. Neither Penny nor that woman could achieve that.

Brian was completely silent and couldn't gave the answer Winnie wanted.

Feeling disappointed again, Winnie closed her eyes and told herself not to think about something impossible.

Back in home, her fever worsened. Brian wanted to take her to the hospital, but Winnie was determined not to go. After taking a shower and changing into dry clothes, Winnie was weak, but she found the medicine and took a few pills. After that, she lay down in bed and curled up under the quilt.

Seeing that Winnie didn't ask him for any help, Brian was a little angry. However, he had to restrain himself from losing his temper with her because she was sick.

Standing by the bed, Brian was worried when he saw her pale face. Finally, he turned off the light and lay down beside Winnie.

He held Winnie into his arms in hopes that she would feel warmer. However, he found that Winnie was burning all over.

"Let's go to the hospital. Or it would affect your brain."

Brian tried to persuade her.

"Never mind. My brain is dull anyway. There's no need to go to the hospital. Just sleep. Hold me in your arms. I'll be fine after I sweat." Winnie said in a low and bleak tone.

Brian had no alternative but to try to warm her by cuddling her.

The next morning, Winnie got up and found that breakfast was ready.

"Did you prepare the breakfast?"

Winnie asked when Brian came over from the kitchen.

"Of course. Who else would do it?"

Brian answered in a cold way.

"Thank you! It never occurs to me that I can have the breakfast prepared by you."

Winnie said while looking at the substantial breakfast on the table. Although the food didn't look good, she was happy that he had prepared it for her. "You should have a rest at home today and don't go anywhere."

Brian ordered.

Last night, Winnie got wet from rain and had a high fever. Her fever wasn't gone until this morning. He was worried that she would be too weak to work. "Oh, I'll stay home."

Winnie agreed and then went to ask the two kids to have breakfast.

In fact, she had woken up for a long time, after which she lay in bed and wondered what to do in the future. Finally, she came to the conclusion that she had to face it bravely. Therefore, she was lively now and was ready to face sufferings in the future.

They lived a plain life for a few days. Every day, Winnie went to and from work on time and slept in the same bed with Brian. Every day, they four had meals together. After dinner, they watched TV and ate fruit in the living room.

"Mommy, your phone is ringing."

Originally, Megan was watching cartoon attentively. Perhaps being disturbed by the ringing Winnie's mobile phone, there was a trace of complaint in her tone. Hearing that, Winnie was going to get the phone, but Luke had handed her the phone.

"Auntie, here you are."

"Thank you, Luke!"

Winnie was very happy that Luke began to take the initiative to talk to others and that he was in a better mood than before.

Winnie answered the phone call.

"Daenerys."

"Did I disturb you?"

Daenerys asked in a happy tone.

"No, I'm watching TV with my kids. Are you still on a business trip?"

"I'll be back tomorrow night. I have something to tell you. There'll be a college class reunion and they all ask me to contact you. Will you go?"

Daenerys asked tentatively. They three had had a good time in college, but now there was only hatred between them.

"Class reunion? Will Penny attend it?"

When Winnie asked this question, she looked at Brian who was leaning against the sofa. It was obvious that he was listening.

"I'm not sure, either."

"Can you ask about it for me? If she is going to attend, I won't."

Winnie was not afraid that Brian heard what she said. If she met Penny, unpleasant events would be inevitable. To avoid affecting other people negatively, she had better not go.

"I'll contact you after I find it out."

Daenerys hung up the phone. She understood why Winnie said so.

"A class reunion?"

Brian asked.

"Yes, but I won't go if Penny will attend it."

Winnie didn't try to cover up the fact that she hated Penny.

"I don't care if she will go or not. You shouldn't go. There is no need to contact your classmates."

Brian said indifferently.

"You're interfering with my private life."

Although Winnie didn't make up her mind to attend the reunion, she became unhappy after hearing him talk like this. Before, they had agreed not to interfere with each other's private life, so Winnie would never let him interfere with her affair.

"I'll give you a chance to interfere with my private life."

Brian proposed a deal. He was willing to sacrifice a little as long as she wouldn't go to see her classmates.

"I won't go to the reunion as long as you divorce Penny."

Winnie mentioned divorce again. Before Brian said anything, both Megan and Luke had run to him.

"Great! Uncle, get a divorce! If you get a divorce, you will be able to be my daddy!"

Megan looked at Brian expectantly as if Brian was getting a divorce were a very good piece of news for her.

"I agree! If daddy gets a divorce and becomes the boyfriend of auntie, I can call auntie mommy!"

He also looked at him with happy eyes expectantly. Brian didn't know how to respond to them.

Apart from Winnie, it appeared that Luke disliked Penny, although Luke called her mommy. How unpopular Penny was!

"Will you, uncle? Be my daddy! We four can live a happy life just like we do now!"

Megan pleaded. It was a rare opportunity. Even if she would be scolded by her mommy, she had to say a few more words to try to persuade her uncle.

She liked him as much as she liked her father.

"Megan, you went too far."

Winnie intoned to warn her and to help Brian out at the same time.

She didn't think before talking just now. Forgetting that the kids were there, she said something that she shouldn't say in the presence of kids.

"Alas, you always scold me for going too far! I just want to have a daddy."

Megan obviously felt a sense of loss after she was frustrated by Winnie.

Although Luke wasn't warned, he also felt a sense of loss, just like Megan. However, he wouldn't resist. He only expressed his dissatisfaction by being silent.

"But I love you. If you had a daddy, there would be one more person who would scold you."

To comfort her, Winnie said jokingly. However, Megan rolled her eyes after hearing what she said.

"Humph. Daddy won't scold me. He would care about me. Am I right, uncle?"

As smart as Megan, she asked Brian this question.

"Right. Daddy can only care about his daughter and won't scold her."

Looking at Megan, Brian didn't know what to do, just like he did sometimes when he was faced with Winnie. Now, there had been two such women in his life. Facing with them, sometimes he didn't know what to do; sometimes he felt protective of them; sometimes he couldn't calm himself down when they were involved. A mature woman and a little girl.

They four were spending time harmoniously while Penny felt very annoyed.

Brian hadn't returned home for several days. The person who followed Brian told her that Brian had been staying in Winnie's house. After knowing this, Penny became even angrier and more intense.

She was afraid that Brian would never come back.

It had been a while since she asked her father for help, but he still hadn't done anything. However, the relationship between Brian and Winnie was going very fast. It was inevitable that Penny would feel

intense.

When Penny was about to pick up her phone and to make a phone call to her father to urge him, someone called her.

"What do you call me for?"

"A college class reunion? Will Winnie go?"

"Then, I'm not going. You guys have a good time."

Penny put down her phone with a weird smile.

Winnie asked the same question. If she said that she would attend it, Winnie would definitely refuse to attend the reunion.

If she said she wasn't going, Winnie would definitely attend it.

If this was the case, she would embarrassed Winnie in public and let her classmates respect her.

Finally, Brian didn't agree to Winnie's request. He had no choice but to agree that Winnie would go to the reunion and that he would stay at home to take care of the kids.¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¶☐☐☐☐
