Her Wicked Ceo (Abigail and Liam)

Chapter 525

[Outside the hospital]

Abigail got into the car with Tina and pondered, holding the printed consent.

Tina looked at it and asked, "Whose baby do you think it is?"

Abigail shook her head. "How do I know? She's only 2 weeks pregnant.”

Tina blinked and suddenly remembered something. "Could it be Liam's baby?"

Abigail turned to look at Tina.

Tina realized what she had said. "No, it can't be. I took a wild guess!"

"It makes sense theoretically, but it's not impossible!”

"Why?"

"Because Liam and I were in hospital after I was saved by him, so it was impossible!"

"If the baby is Liam's, instead of aborting it, she would protect it like a treasure because it will help her marry into the Jones family!" Abigail said.

Tina nodded. "Good point. You are so rational!”

Abigail smiled. Actually, if it was more than two weeks, she wouldn't be so sure.

"Whose baby could it be then?" Tina asked again.

Abigail shook her head. "I don't know, but I have a feeling that this is important!”

Tina nodded. Both of them were lost in thought.

"Wait. I remember!” Tina suddenly said.

"What?" Abigail jerked her head, staring at Tina.

"It must be that man!"

"Who?"

"The man who went to jail for her. David or something?” Tina said.

Abigail frowned. "Why do you think so?"

"The reporter who has been following Olive took pictures of her and that man. Now that I think about it, it was about two weeks ago!" Tina said.

A frown creased Abigail's forehead. "You mean, David bore the blame for Olive because of the baby?"

"It's possible!" Tina said.

Abigail narrowed her eyes. “In that case, it all adds up!"

"Whether it's true or not, we can sound her out. We won't lose anything anyway!" Tina said. Abigail nodded. "I agree!”

"That's settled then. I'll go to the detention center. You go back to work. I'll call you when I know more!" Abigail said.

"Don’t you need me to take you there?"

"No, in my opinion, the detention center might bring bad luck. Your store is about to open, so you'd better not go there!" Abigail said.

A smile burst across Tina's face. "Okay then. Call me if you need anything. I really want to know if our guess is right!" She was very curious now.

Abigail nodded, pushed open the door, and got out.

Watching Abigail take a cab, Tina drove away, afraid that someone would see her. "Auntie Lee, I'm really sorry for you!" she thought.

Abigail went to the detention center for David!

David was calm to see her. "Don't bother trying. I won't agree!"

A smile touched the corners of Abigail's mouth.

"Why are you smiling?" David asked.

"I'm wondering how it feels to be a scapegoat!" Abigail said.

David froze for an instant. He felt that the woman in front of him might have known a lot of things, but he didn't know exactly what she knew.
