Her Undeniable Temptation

Alex wasn’t turning to look at them because his back was still turned back. Zoe blushed and slid off from Luke’s lap, ”I’m gonna get going, and thank you for letting me join your movie night.” Alex said and Walked to the door. ”Wait, you don’t have to go yet.” she said half-heartedly. Alex gave her a small smile. ”Thanks though but I’m tired! Goodnight Zoe.” Alex said before walking out of the door.

Zoe sat down close to Luke feeling furious. Alex says he is lonely but leaves as soon as he can! She and Luke kissed in front of him! What’s the big deal?

She wondered if their kissing upset him or what? Zoe sighed. Luke kept smiling like he had achieved a goal. ”Hmm looks like it’s just both of us, again!” Luke says, trying to k**s her again but she moved out of his way.

”What’s wrong?” Luke asked, surprised. ”Did you know Alex was coming out from the bathroom when you kissed me?” she asked Luke, getting pissed already. He looked so guilty.

”Why did you do that Luke?” She demanded. ”Come on Zoe, Alex has a crush on you and It is totally obvious! I just thought I should remind him you are taken.” Luke said.

She could tell that Luke was at the edge of anger too. ”That wasn’t very nice,” she said. They glared at each other, after a while of seating in silence! Luke broke the silence. ”I should probably go to bed?” Luke said getting up from the couch.

”Can I at least get a good night hug?” Luke asked stiffly, she just looked up at him. ”Please, Zoe! You know I could die in my sleep with you being mad at me.” Luke said jokingly.

She ground her teeth together as she got up to hug him anyway! Luke wrapped his hand tightly around her waist. ”Sorry for making you mad? I promise not to do something like that again.” Luke said quietly.

”Promise?” She asked between hugs. ”Yeah, I promise.” He said and she sighed. ”Okay, fine you are forgiven Luke.” she said.

”Good, I love you, Zoe.” Luke said, kissing her forehead. ”I love you too Luke,” she said as he leaned down to k**s her one last time before going to bed. She felt kind of put out. Luke thought Alex had a crush on her?

He obviously didn’t know Alex or didn’t realize that Alex was hot enough to get any girl in the world.

Why would he want to be with nerdy like Zoe? I mean a girl with short hair, a mole on the face, and absolutely not sexy? How could Alex have a crush on Zoe?

November kind of flew by in a blur. Zoe spent Saturdays with Bella and Dora while Sundays with Luke! Meanwhile, she had a long phone conversation with Alex every night.

She went to the bakery at random when it was her shift during the week. During her free time, she spent quality time with her dad and mum. She had decided to put the thought of Alex having a crush on her out of her mind.

It just seemed impossible for him to have a crush on a girl like her. Alex never dated any girl which she found weird, he constantly had girls around him and he did laugh and flirt with them but when it came to dating any of them he didn’t.

Bella was still completely obsessed with him. Zoe kind of wished Alex starts dating someone else just to get Bella out of her back, well not actually! She didn’t want Alex with someone else to be more clear.

He shouldn’t be with someone other than her.

God, Being a teenager is so fricken complicated that you start to have stupid feelings and hormones making you a basket of cases. It was almost time for the Pack celebration. She was going to spend it with her mum since dad and Luke were out of town, Luke was spending his celebration with his dad.

The celebration was a week away and her mum hasn’t really prepared anything. They needed stuff for the celebration and Luke wasn’t around so she asked Alex if he was going tag along, he hadn’t mentioned any plan with his family! So basically he was free! Plus he always made things fun.

Alex showed up by 9:30 Am in the morning. She prefers doing things early, to save the rest of her day for resting.

Her mom was sleeping in her room. her only day off from work, Zoe was in Alex’s car and he was driving them to the market.

”Uhmm, I’m stopping at the body shop?” Nathan said.

”Body Shop?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. ”Well, tattoo shop actually,” Alex said, putting his full attention on the road.

”Are you getting a tattoo, Alex?” she asked, feeling really shocked. ”Are you even sure you want to do this? I mean you are not even up to eighteen yet. You might regret it.” Zoe tried to reason but he only laughed.

”I have done a lot of things I regret about Zoe but that is not exactly my point.” Alex said. ”Besides, stop freaking out Zoe. I’m not getting a tattoo, rather I was thinking about getting a piercing. They actually do both at the shop!” Alex said.

”Oh,” she mumbled.

At least the piercing wasn’t as bad as Zoe thought! If he didn’t like it he could always take it off, she felt relieved for no reason.

”So, where do you want to get pierced?” she asked hesitantly. ”Oh, probably my bottom lips,” Alex said. ”Your lips? But, you have nice lips!” she said without thinking.

He looked over at her. Zoe’s face flared hot. ”Idiot.” she mumbled under her breath. Alex laughed at her expression. ”Yeah, I do have pretty nice looking lips if that was what you actually meant.” Alex said, still chuckling.

Zoe nodded mutely, feeling incredibly embarrassed.

”Anyways, I have wanted a piercing for a long time. I figured that today was the day!” Alex said. Alex drove in silence as they finally pulled over at the tattoo shop. ”Alex, don’t you need permission from your dad to get a piercing?” she asked as they got out of the car.

”Don’t worry, I know the chick who does this stuff.” Alex said and held open the shop door for her. She went inside and it was a typical tattoo shop, with pictures of examples on the walls mixed with badass werewolf drawings on the wall.

Some couches to wait.

There was only one person there getting work done on his arm. They went and stood beside the counter, a girl with spiked red hair came out from the black room. She had tattoos all over her arms.

Seeing Alex, she grinned as she returned it with a smile. ”Hey, I was wondering when you were going to come in here?” She said, wrapping her arms around his shoulder. Just that simple touch between them made Zoe’s hands ball up into a fist making her eyes shimmer.
