Chapter 99

Diana and Sam were consistent in their prayers and they studied the word to back up their faith too. They had worshipped and prayed for one hour thirty minutes which made them satisfied. Pastor Kelvin had been checking up on them, he also advices them perseverance was an important virtue they should have. "You don't need to know who I am, all you need to know is that your dear friend is in my custody and if you don't rescue her, ill kill her" he stated clearly.

"Hello Diana, please you need to save me, ill make it up to you as soon as I'm out of here" Lina begged with a shaky voice.

"No I'm not, I need to get out of here as soon as possible please, Diana help me" she screamed as He took the phone away from her aggressively.

"Alright I'll do my best okay? Ill get you out of there" Diana assured but it was the kidnapper on the phone now.

"You better be fast about it" he spoke calmly.

"Hey, I beg of you, please do not hurt her, ill settle you just say what you want" Diana ordered.

"Yeah, that's more like it " he smiled over the phone.

"So, ill send an account number to you and you'll send hundred thousand dollars into it" he explained plainly.

"What? how do you expect me to get such amount of money? " Diana screamed

"Young lady we have two options here, you send the money or I kill her, simple " he explained.

"Please do not kill her, ill send the money to you, I mean I don't have it but I'll try my best" Diana said as she scratched her head.

"Good! and you have just two working days, anything after that she's dead " he told her

"Please do not kill her, ill send the money" Diana begged.

"Bye" he hung the phone.

"Oh my goodness?!" Diana exclaimed as her phone fell on the sofa.

"The only money I have in my savings is fifty thousand dollars, where do I get the rest from in two days?" Diana fumed as she got up from her seat again.

"Oh dear, don't bug yourself too much, ill talk to my husband about it and I know he would help out" Sam said as she tried to calm Diana down.

"Are you serious? Sam I'm so grateful for you" Diana hugged her with a sigh of relief.

"Naah, you don't need to, I'll drop her at a safe place" he told her.
