Her Redemption

Chapter 6.

"You hate me? What have I done?

"Well you look so different Sabrina! I swear I wasn't going to recognize you if you didn't introduce yourself" Liam stared at her looking for her childhood face but couldn't find it. "Well I had to up my game mentally and physically so you men would not treat me like a garbage can" she frankly said while rolling her eyes.

"Oh Sabrina Wilson, it's so nice to see you again " he acknowledged while stretching out his hands for a handshake but Diana ignored him leaving his hands hanging.

Diana was Liam's girlfriend in highschool. She dated him from her second year in junior high school to her second year in senior high school.

Diana was a pretty, Super, intelligent girl in school. She was the brightest in her class but she was not bold enough.

Sabrina Wilson as she was known then was always hit on by the bullies. She could not stand someone scold her, she was so naive and nervous that she was always taken advantage of.

Sabrina could cry at the sight of a fight talk more of involving herself in a fight. So she made sure to avoid fights and do anything her bullies told her to do.

"Sabrina you will have to take our assignments with you so that you can do them as you do yours" her bullies would most time say and she would reply with a lazy nod.

Maybe it was because her Father left early, maybe because she did not receive fatherly love, maybe because she did not have a father figure to run to as her mom too was irresponsible. Maybe it was because of all this, she did not know but she felt very insecure.

Liam on the other hand was a very handsome boy, the one you would call "the ladies man". He was aware of how charming he was and used it to get his lustful desires.

He was a low-key player but he seemed like a serious lover to every girl he approached.

He was attracted to Sabrina, he loved her and wanted to date her although he did not have intentions of being committed to her.

Apart from her beauty he was attracted to her intelligence too. He wasn't a dull child but he wasn't so brilliant so he thought she was going to be of help to him with school stuffs.

He approached her one time in the hallway of the library and told her how he has been crushing on her and would want her to be his girlfriend. He always believed he couldn't be turned down because of his looks.

She thought that was so fast because they weren't close. She told him she was going to think about it, deep down she wanted to say an immediate yes because she really admired him but did not want to look cheap. After a week she agreed to date him. She was glad she did, she now had a male figure in her life.

She felt so loved as Liam was such a romantic boy. She had naughty moments with him but insisted on no-sex till she was eighteen.

She did not know Liam was hitting on her bestfriend "Sam". They were having sex behind her and we're also gossiping about the stupid saint that she was.

Sabrina found out about it from a bully who used it to mock her. But she found out late(second year of senior high school), it had been going on for two years. She cursed them both and cried home but none of them came back to apologize not even Liam.

"Well I'm not pleased to see you again, you were a pain and I can still see you are " Diana rapped without remorse.

"And please I am no longer Sabrina, I am Diana! Copy that!"

Liam was really amazed to see how bold and daring his high school girlfriend had become.

"She put in a lot if work in herself " he thought to himself

"Well I know you hated me back then, but trust me I was only a child"

"I'm more grown up and matured now, I won't hurt anyone that way again" He tried to justify himself.

"Oh pleassee" She rolled her eyes in a mocking manner.

"You men are all the same and you should go straight to the reason why you came here.

"Oh now I don't even think I want to rent out my apartment to you again" she said dissapointedly. "why?"

"Because of what happened years ago?"

"Common Sabri..... sorry Diana, I was only a kid, it's been years now, I'm changed, I promise "

"Oh spare me that!"

"You Men are good at your craft of lying" Diana gestured with her hands In the air.

"I'm sorry, I cant put up with you and the sad memories you bring" she said.

Now Liam was really amazed at what he saw, the naive Sabrina was all gone. She was now a no-nonsense Lad.

"Oh dear you really have to help me with this" Liam put up a moody face.

"I have an attack on my health and I was advised to lodge In an environment such as this to heal"

"I've been searching for an apartment for long now and my sick-leave has already begun" he begged.

Dianna remembering what happened while they were in the apartment felt sorry but did not show it. She decided to let him stay at least it was only three months. "Alright three months and you are out of my house" she faced him
