Chapter 40

The light flickered off and everything stopped working. Including the music. Diana looked at how everything became dark. No one could see anything. She clenched her fist and as she was about to try to go to the person in charge, she bumped into someone and her glasses crashed into pieces.

"Watch it." The person shouted not knowing it was Diana.

Diana didn't say anything but kept mute. Just then the microphone was making funny sounds. Just then someone started speaking. "Congratulations, my dear whore."

Diana's body stiffened at those words. Then the lights flickered on again. Everyone turned to who was speaking. Diana widened her eyes and her face turned into very dark features. Despite her being occupied talking to Sam, she wondered how Fred had entered her house.

Everyone kept quiet but Liam had had enough even when he was just starting to talk. "This motherfucker!" He cursed.

"Do you know him?" Kenneth asked in confusion.

"Yes. He is Diana's stalker. That bastard has come to ruin the cool atmosphere." Liam balled his fist and began to stride toward him. Kenneth held him back. He knew Liam won't take any shit from anyone. He knew Liam could kill Williams. "Calm down," Kenneth told him.

Fred maintained eye contact with Diana and he smirked. He looked around staring at everybody. Williams couldn't get enough. He was trying to understand the whole shit. Kara and Celine couldn't stop looking. Diana frowned so hard wishing she could have a superpower to drag him away from that place and beat the crap out of him. He needs to learn his fucking lessons.

Everywhere became silent. Even the DJ stopped the music. Fred smiled crazily at everyone.

"Hello, my love." He waved and smiled at Diana.

"His love? What the fuck is he talking about?" Samantha turned to Diana.

"He is crazy. He still doesn't understand that I don't need him in my life."

Those words echoed in Liam's head. The fact someone like Fred was calling his girlfriend his love pukes him out. He gritted his teeth together, trying to control his anger.

"Is it because of him? Is it because of that bastard? Is that why you left me? Did you leave me because of him? He is not even handsome, you whore." Fred said using the microphone. Diana looked around wondering if anyone believed him.

"My girlfriend is not a whore." Liam shouted and break free from Kenneth who was holding him back. Liam rushed to meet Fred and was about to dash him a blow when Diana shouted. "Stop!!!"

Everyone turned to Diana.

"You are out of your mind," Fred said.

"No..." Diana said as she went to meet him.

"You.. are out of your mind." Diana pointed out.

Diana grabbed the microphone from the MC and faced everyone.

"Good evening guys." She announced.

"As you all can see, this guy here is insane. He broke free from the psychiatric hospital. Do not worry, everything would be solved. Music, please." Diana said and they all agreed that he doesn't know what he was saying and this angered Fred. Before Fred could protest, the music continued and everyone went back to what they were doing before he barged in and ruin everything.

The securities dragged Fred out like a criminal. Diana, Liam, Kenneth, and Samantha followed. He was thrown outside.

"You slut." Fred pointed at Diana.

Liam didn't have to think twice before he lunged at Fred and punched his nose and it bled.

"How dare you call her a slut and a whore?" Liam said still punching him. He was already losing it. He could kill Fred at that point. Kenneth held in back.

Fred still didn't desist He stood up with blood dripping from his mouth and he fell again. He did that like twice before getting back his balance.

"She is the love of my life before you came into her life. We were always together before you took her away from me. You snatcher! We have had sex numerous times. Countless times! But what did you do, Diana? You gave my pussy to someone else to fuck." Fred talked dirty and this made Liam get too angry. He couldn't control it anymore. It was pain mixed with anger and jealousy. He pulled away from Kenneth and lunged at Fred again but the security held him. "You have no right to come here and disrespect her this way. Someone, get this bastard out of here before I lose it. " Liam shouted and looked at Diana for a while. Then he walked away.

Diana felt so disturbed. She knew that look from him wasn't good.

Diana told Kenneth and Samantha to leave but Samantha refused.

"No, I am not leaving. What if he does something to you?"

Diana faced Kenneth and nodded as a sign for him to take Samantha back to the party.

They both went back to the party and left Diana with Fred.

"Why are you doing this to me, my love? Come back to me, Diana. I love you." Fred said.

"Snap out of your reverie, Fred. We have nothing to go back to. We are done. It is over. Take it or fucking leave it. Fred Cobbs, we are done. Go and never come back. You have ruined my life, enough." Diana told him and turned to the securities.

"Get him out of here and the next time he comes back here, Do not let him in. If he forced himself in, you know what to do." Diana instructed them and immediately she walked away. She went looking for Liam. "Liam." She called but couldn't find him.

She became so worried.

"Liam!!!" She called again but all she got back was silence.

When she wanted to fall, she got frustrated and saw one of the securities. She beckons to one of them. "Ma'am."

"Tell them the party is over. They should all go home now. Make sure you treat them right." She told security and he left.

She pulled her heels off and hold them in her hands.
