Her Mythical Warriors (Book One)

Chapter Chapter Thirty-Nine: Coming Together

“You look scared,” Davey said as he sat down next to Akira.

“I’m worried about my Warriors,” Akira whispered.

Davey nodded. “I hope they are okay.”

Akira looked up at the Pirate. Yes, that is what they are. Even if she has become friends with Davey, he is still a bloody Pirate. Like Jack Sparrow—Gods, she needs to find something else to do with her time, other than watching T.V.

You would think five years in the jungle alone, except for Brynhildr, would make her forget all the movies she had watched to keep her mind off the pain of her father’s beatings. Or to drown out the sound of her father beating and or raping her mother. A shiver ran down her spine at the memories.

“Are you okay?” Davey asked, rubbing her back.

Akira nodded. “I was just—never mind.”

“Thinking about your Warriors?”

She shrugged. “A little. Mostly trying to get awful memories out of my head.”

He nodded, then looked over at his fellow shipmates. “They’re about ready to search for the captain. You ready to search for your Warriors?”

Akira nodded. “I am.”

Davey stood, then held his hand out to her and helped her to her feet.

“How do you know your Warriors are alive?” a crewman asked.

“Yeah, last we saw them, they were fighting the Kraken, and the wolf went down with him.”

Akira closed her eyes and pressed her hand to her chest, where the circle of her Warriors was tattooed to her skin. She opened her eyes and pulled her shirt down enough that Davey could see the circle and her Warriors’ emblems.

“They’re alive,” she whispered.

Davey nodded. “Then let’s find them.”

Darius moaned. He has not felt helpless since Helmfred had torn his wings. And that damn snake breaking his spine. Fuck, ever since he found his Psychi, he has gotten into more scrapes than he had in the thousand years he lived like a king, like a God. But it was worth it to have his soul mate.

Darius sighed and tried to think of all the positive things.

‘Akira.’

The only thing keeping him alive right now.

Malique looked around his surroundings as he and the captain walked down the beach. There were trees off to their left and the ocean to their right. He turned and looked at the captain.

“Are you sure we’re going the correct way?”

Charles shrugged. “Your guess is as good as mine.”

Malique grunted, and the captain chuckled.

A noise in the bushes had them both jumping around to see what it was. When a snake slithered out, they sighed with relief.

“Who knows what kind of beasts are on this blasted island,” Captain White said.

His eyes opened wide as he stared at something that had not slithered out of the bushes.

Malique looked in the same direction and cursed. “Run,” he said, then took off faster than he ever has in his life.

He may be a Warrior and a Vampire, but he is not fucking fighting a Basilisk alone. Luckily, it is a lizard Basilisk, so it does not move as fast as the snakes. But he is getting the fuck out of here. He does not have his sword, and the captain does not have his gun. The thought of drinking the beast’s blood made his body shiver and his stomach queasy.

~⚔~

Akira and the Pirates.

‘Damn, sounds like a movie,’ Akira thought with a roll of her eyes.

They traveled along the shoreline for hours without finding a single Warrior or Pirate. The moon had already gone down, and it was so dark out Akira could barely see in front of her.

‘How big is this island?’ she wondered as she looked around them.

They all had flashlights which made it easier for them to see, but it was still so dark you could barely see your hand in front of your face.

“I have never seen this island on a map,” a crewman said, flashing his flashlight around them.

“Neither have I,” Davey said, then looked at Akira. “Are you okay?”

Akira nodded. She was exhausted, but she would be much better once they found her Warriors. She has never been apart from them for this long, and she was aching for them to hold her in their strong arms.

“There’s something over that hill of sand over there,” a crewman said, holding his flashlight toward the sandhill.

Akira moved to check it out, but Davey caught her and pulled her behind him. She had to keep reminding herself that she was small, and men thought she was unable to take care of herself. Even her stupid Warriors think that, and they have seen her fight. She frowned at herself for calling her Warriors stupid when she had lost them…

“It’s a horse!” a crewman called out. “It’s injured. I’m going to put it out of its misery.”

Akira whimpered. “Don’t,” she said as she headed toward the hill. “I can heal him.”

The crew stared at her as she climbed up over the mound of sand. When she looked over, she sucked in a breath.

“Darius.”

Akira started over the hill, and Davey took hold of her arm.

“It’s not a normal horse,” one of the men said as they slid down the hill.

Akira glared at Davey. “Let me go.”

“It’s not safe,” Davey said with a shake of his head.

Akira snorted. “He would NEVER hurt me!” she screeched.

“Akira? Is that you?”

Darius’s pained voice in her head had her screeching and pulling on her arm for Davey to let her go.

Her Warrior needs her!

The Pegasus whinnied and lifted his head to see what was going on.

“Darius, don’t move, my love.”

“Akira, thank the Gods,” Darius said in her mind with a deep moan. “I don’t think I will last much longer….”

“Don’t you say that! I am coming!”

Akira dropped her bag, pulled her sword from her back, and placed it against Davey’s throat.

“Let me go,” she sneered.

Davey let her go and held his hands above his head.

Akira nodded, then turned and slid down the hill toward her Warrior. “Get out of the way!” she screamed at the men who were inching toward her Warrior.

Akira noticed a couple guns pointed at her Warrior and screeched, knocking the guns out of their hands with the flat of her sword.

“Any of you come near us, and I will kill you all!” she screamed at them.

Every man stopped moving and stared at the deranged woman.

Akira snarled at them as she walked over to her Warrior. “Oh, Darius,” she whimpered. “What happened to you?”

“Kraken. Threw. Me. Wings are broken. Can’t feelmy legs.”

Akira cried and threw herself over her Pegasus’s body.

“That little woman is crazy,” a crewman said.

“She’s protective of her Warriors,” Stella said as she pushed past the Pirates.

“I never saw him before,” a crewmember said, thumbing toward the Pegasus.

Fin snorted. “You humans are so blind,” he said, shoving past the men.

“Eat another piece before you heal him,” Stella said, holding out a piece of the herb to Akira.

Akira turned to the Troll, thanked her, took the herb, and shoved it into her mouth.

“Akira.”

Darius’s fading voice had Akira panicking. She felt a sting on her chest and pulled her shirt down so she could look at her circle. Darius’s mark was fading, and she felt a pang in her stomach.

NO!” Akira screamed.

~⚔~

Malique felt a pain in his stomach, worse than he had ever felt before. Even worse than the time he had drunk from a Draugar by accident.

“Are you all right?” Charles asked, concern on his face.

Malique groaned, “my stomach feels like it’s going to explode.”

“Is your Havent all right?”

Malique moved his shirt and found her marking was perfect. But the pain would not subside.

“Fuck,” Malique grunted and fell to his knees. “One of Akira’s Warriors is dying!”

“Shit,” Charles growled.

If losing a Warrior felt this bad, how bad would losing Akira feel?

~⚔~

Akira concentrated on Darius’s life force. Tears streamed down her cheeks, but she kept her concentration on her Warrior. She found his soul and pulled it back to her.

“You’re not going anywhere,” she whispered with a smile as she pulled Darius’s soul back to his body.

Once his soul was where it belonged, she healed his wings, then his spine and ribs. She found every minor bruise, scrape, and cut and healed them. When she finished, she sighed with relief.

“You’re not leaving me,” she mumbled.

She was physically and mentally exhausted. But the herbs were keeping her from passing out. Akira felt Darius shift under her and looked up to find his sky blue eyes staring at her.

“Akira,” he whispered.

Akira’s lips were on Darius so fast he chuckled as he held her.

“Don’t you EVER do that to me again!” she yelled, punching him in the chest.

“Ouch,” he said with a chuckle.

Akira wiped her eyes with her hands and stared at her Pegasus Warrior’s handsome face.

“I love you,” she whispered.

Darius grinned. “I love you too, little one.”

Akira fell against him and cried.

Darius sighed and held onto her.

“Holy fuck. You’re a Pegasus?” a crewman asked, bewildered.

Darius looked up at the man. “We told you she’s special,” he said with a grin.

“We should keep moving,” Davey said with a smile as he watched the Havent and her Warrior.

Darius nodded and sat up, Akira attached to his chest.

“Need help?” Davey asked.

Darius shook his head and got to his feet, Akira in his arms.

They continued down the same path along the shoreline and stopped when they heard talking.

Akira’s head shot up. “Malique.”

Darius smiled and set Akira on her feet.

Akira took off toward the voices and squealed when she saw Malique standing beside the captain talking.

“Malique!”

Malique looked up and grinned. He caught Akira when she jumped into his arms and held her close.

“Thank the Gods,” he said against her hair.

“I was so worried,” she said with a cry.

“I felt a Warrior dying,” Malique whispered.

“That would be me,” Darius said, stopping behind Akira.

Malique looked up at his friend and smiled. “I see you beat it.”

“Thanks to our little Havent. She brought me back.”

Malique looked down at Akira. “You amaze me more and more every day.”

Akira grinned. “I can’t lose any of my Warriors. I don’t think I would survive it.”

Malique and Darius looked at each other. They had never expected to hear Akira say that. They know she has more of a connection to Wolfric than any of her other Warriors. But they believe her. She has never told them they were any less to her than Wolfric. Speaking of Wolfric…

“I guess you haven’t found Wolfric yet?” Malique asked.

Akira and Darius shook their heads.

“We go this way,” Stella said as she passed Akira and her Warriors.

“Stella,” Malique said with a smile.

“Hello, Vampire. Good to see you are well,” Stella said, smiling up at him.

She pointed in the direction Malique and Captain White had come from.

“He’s not that way,” Malique said.

Stella looked at him and scrunched up her face. “Says you,” she said, then continued walking.

Fin dropped the bag he had been carrying at Malique’s feet and huffed. “Best not to argue with her,” he said, then raced after his twin.

Akira giggled, “I guess we go that way.”

Malique picked up the bag the Troll had dropped, and they followed the Trolls.

~⚔~

They walked for hours. Malique and Darius took turns carrying Akira either in their arms or on their back. When the sun came up, they were about to give up until they heard Akira shriek.

“Wolfie!” Akira screamed.

Malique set Akira on her feet and watched her run to a body that was barely out of the water. The ocean washed over it again and again.

“Fuck,” Malique mumbled as he took off after his Psychi.

“Damn it,” Darius said, dropping his bag and running after Akira and Malique.

Akira skidded to her knees beside Wolfric and cried as she pulled seaweed off his still form.

“Drag him out of the water,” Darius said as he and Malique stopped before Wolfric and Akira.

Malique took hold of Wolfric’s shoulders and dragged him up onto the beach.

“Is he breathing?” Captain White asked.

“Yes.” Akira sighed with relief. “Wolfie,” she said, shaking her wolf’s shoulder, “please wake up.”

Malique watched as Akira shook his friend. The man looked dead to the world. Though he was breathing. A cough came from Wolfric, and Malique sighed with relief.

“Wolfie,” Akira cried, throwing herself against him.

“Akira,” Wolfric breathed as he wrapped his arms around her, “thank the Gods.”

“Hey, wolf boy,” Malique said with a grin.

“Vampire,” Wolfric said as he looked up at his friend and smiled.

“Had us worried there for a minute,” Darius said with a smile.

Wolfric looked at Darius, then down at Akira.

Akira cried against her Wolfie and held him close. She had almost lost two of her Warriors.

Wolfric sat up and pulled Akira onto his lap, facing him. They stared into each other’s eyes, then Wolfric’s mouth was on hers.

Akira moaned, kissing him back with every passion-filled bone in her body. She felt her fear dissipate and knew everything was going to be okay now. They still have so much to do, and she knows she will come close to losing her Warriors again. But right now, they need to live for the moment. As if Wolfric had heard her thoughts, she heard ripping and felt cool air blow against her thighs.

“Uh,” Darius said with a chuckle, “we’re not alone, Wolfric.”

Wolfric did not seem to be listening as another ripping sound had Akira gasping.

Malique and Darius moved to block the two with their bodies, facing the crew of the ship.

Captain White chuckled, “nothing to see here, boys.”

The captain ushered his men away from the scene.

Charles turned to the four and smiled. If only he had been a Warrior—instead of a Pirate.

“Akira,” Wolfric groaned as he pulled his cock from his pants, “I need you.”

Akira moaned, then cried out when he entered her.

This was something they had never done before. And in public, well, not really since the only people on the island are them and the Pirates. She looked over Wolfric’s shoulder and smiled when she noticed the Pirates had left.

“Wolfric, did you have to do this here and now?” Darius asked, holding back a laugh.

“I couldn’t help it. I just needed her,” Wolfric said with a groan.

Akira shivered as Wolfric lifted her up and slid her back down his cock.

“Mmm,” Akira moaned as she slid down his cock.

“You are crazy,” Malique said with a grin.

“I get a turn next,” Darius said as he turned and watched them.

“Ooooh,” Akira cried out, her body vibrating with an orgasm. “Wolfric!”

Wolfric groaned and came deep inside her.

“Poor—poor, little girl,” Darius said as he rounded Wolfric and pulled her off his cock. “Three powerful men want to fuck your brains out, and you can’t stop them.”

Akira smirked. “Did you forget that I’m the one with the power here?”

“Ah fuck,” Malique said with a grunt. “Did you seriously have to taunt her?”

Wolfric chuckled.

“On your knees,” Akira commended with her Havent voice.

All three Warriors fell to their knees, and Akira smirked.

Now, why hadn’t her mother used this on her father? She shook her head—not a time to think about that. Right now, she has three gorgeous men on their knees in front of her, ready for her command.

“Lick me,” she commanded.

All three men came at her at the same time, and she shrieked as they pulled her to the sand. Their tongues were all over her body, and soon they had no clothes between them.

“I love you,” Akira said with a moan.

She allowed Darius to have his turn inside her, then Malique mounted her from behind. When Wolfric came for his second helping, she pushed him onto his back and rode his cock until the sun was high in the sky, and they knew it was noon.

Akira wished every day could be like this.
