Her Marriage, Her Revenge

Chapter 64

Chapter 64 Attack in the Glodeous Palace

"Madelie get inside the cabinet and don't ever come out until I come again to get you," Dreckos said as she pulls Madelie inside his dressing cabinet.

"Dreckos, I am a vampire too, I know how to fight," Madelie argued. She does not want just to hide while Dreckos is fighting out there.

"No my love, I can't fight in focus knowing that you are fighting too and most probably not safe." Dreckos refused as he is afraid to let go of Madelie. What if she will be hurt or killed.

"Please, just let me help you Dreckos." She pleaded but Dreckos has been firmed with his decision.

"My love, if someone got inside this room and you need to fight for your life, that would be the time that you need to show your fighting skills," Dreckos said with finality; gave her wife a deep kiss and put her inside his big cabinet.

Madelie was not able to resist him anymore.

Dreckos grabbed his gun in its holster and ran outside of his room. He was shocked to see some of their soldiers and guards lying on the floor lifeless already.

"How come the intruders were able to get inside the palace that easy? The Palace's walls are so high and with electric wires above and the gate could not be so easily opened, unless someone opened it, coming from the inside of the palace." Dreckos thought. He has a hint though who opened the palace' main gate and the main door for the intruders to get easy access inside.

Dreckos ran to the throne's hall, he needs to immediately lock the door of the hall using the secret combination code that only he and the King could use during emergency situations like this.

To Dreckos wonder, however, he found the throne's hall widely opened with one door wing detached already. On the King's throne, he saw Toremo sitting thereon wearing his most devilish smile. He is surrounded by his goons wearing black overall clothing with strong rifles on their hands.

"Catch him!" Toremo shouted when he saw Dreckos on the door of the throne's hall.

Before the two goons could come near Dreckos however, he was able to fire his gun to them.

Then Dreckos sprinted out fast trying to find their guards and soldiers around. To his dismay, he only found a few of them alive.

Dreckos met one of his best soldiers running trying to save himself most probably. The soldier felt relief when he saw Dreckos.

"Sir Dreckos, it was Toremo who opened the gate and before he did that, he already killed so many of our guards secretly." He informed Dreckos.

"That son of a gun bastard!" Dreckos hurled in anger.

"Dreckos!" It was King Timodore who called him, beside him is Noema.

Dreckos suddenly felt relieved when he saw the King. "Where are Queen Asalea and Quacey?" he asked worried.

King Timodore mysteriously laughed. "Wondering around already and most probably killing some of the intruders right now," he replied

"My King into the throne's hall, we need to go there now!" Dreckos said as he started to sprint going there.

King Timodore hold Noema's hand and looks at her, "Baby you need to use your mind to save the palace, okay? I trust you, my little daughter," he said and then gave her a light kiss on her forehead. Noema smiled and nodded. "Got it, father, let's go."

Inside the throne's hall, Toremo's allies were there guarding the place while Toremo was sitting on the throne. Some of his men are also scattered all around the Glodeous palace fighting with the remaining Glodeous guards and soldiers.

"Uncle Toremo!" suddenly the loud voice of Quacey has been heard by Toremo, but when he looked around he never saw a trace of Quacey.

"Toremo, you coward bastard, get down from my husband's throne!" It was the voice of Queen Asalea that suddenlyboomed inside the hall's throne. All the goons and Timodore scanned the area to check for the Glodeous Queen but like her son, they could not find her too. Content

Suddenly, Toremo felt something rounding fast around him and thereafter he found his whole body tied tightly on the throne. He could not move. The goons were all so stunned that they too could not move. "Idiots untie me now!" Toremo shouted.

Before any of his goons could help him, however, King Timodore, Dreckos, and Noema arrived.

Toremo's eyes grew big when he saw King Timodore and Noema.

"What the hell, both of you were dead already!" Toremo screamed at the top of his lungs. "Kill them!" he ordered his goons.

Toremo's men however suddenly became frozen and slowly their bodies including their rifles became iced statues.

"What the hell is going on!" Toremo shouted more when he saw what happened to his men.

Noema grinned while looking at her Uncle Toremo. "Uncle Toremo, would you want to be an iced statue too?" she asked with such innocence that King Timodore and Dreckos wanted to laugh. Toremo's eyes grew big while staring at Noema.

"Uncle Toremo, I played with your men and made them into iced statues. Look, they are so cool," Noema giggled.

Toremo's fright suddenly grew. Now

he knows what Noema's power is and he became frightened even more. What can a vampire, like him without an extra-ordinary power win over the King and the Queen of Glodeous including their twins, who are all endowed with supernatural powers? His men can't move and Sulie and his Uncle are not around.

Toremo almost cried in despair.
