Her Marriage, Her Revenge

Chapter 11

Chapter 11 After the Ecleteon's Attack

The first thing that Queen Asalea saw when she opened her eyes was the black wall in front of her. She recognized the place instantly. She is in their bedroom. She tried to recall what happened during the attack of the Ecleteon Werewolves and her eyes instantaneously grew wide. Where is her husband? She struggled to wake up but upon hitting the floor, her feet run swiftly out of the room. She needs to find her husband.

Her feet brought her to the living room where she finds her husband talking to Greckos. Both men turned their faces to her when they heard her called on the name of King Timodore.

"Wife, are you okay now?" King Timodore hurriedly approached Queen Asalea and hugged her. She hugged him back.

"I was afraid when I walked up and found you not beside me." She said looking at her husband with a twinge of fear in her eyes.

King Timodore caressed her back while saying that he is okay and that all the Ecleteon Werewolves who attacked them were all dead.

Upon hearing those words, Queen Asalea disengaged from King Timodore, with satisfaction on her face now which has glinted a while ago with a sudden rush of anger.

"You stabbed the heart of King Burkano until it became like tiny bits of bread. Did you remember that my wife?" King Timodore's eyes are somewhat inquisitive as they looked directly unto the woman's reaction upon hearing his statement.

"Yes, I do. King Burkano deserved it." She said with a streak of hatred in her eyes.

"I have this hint that King Burkano has offended you in a way in the past my wife. Am I correct?" This time King Timodore's face is already stricken with seriousness.

"Yes, he did. But I don't want to elaborate it right now." Queen Asalea retreated and excused herself from the two men. King Timodore and Dreckos glanced at each other with curiosity, dancing both in their watchful eyes.

As Queen Asalea returned to their bedroom, she felt panic attacked her. Where she'd been too transparent with her feelings already? Did her anger towards the Ecleteon Werewolves make her give away the truth in the eyes of her husband? She knows how intellectually observant King Timodore is.

She wanted to tell him now the truth, but her courage right now seems to have forsaken her. She has no guts to come to him and tell him the truth. She is not yet ready to accept the consequences of her actions. What if he will not accept the fact that although her plan of revenge against the Ecleteon Werewolves was the initial reason for marrying him; later on she had a change of heart and her love for him gave that initial reason now as merely her second purpose? She shook her head several times, as the fact remains that she still thought of using him to take revenge against the Ecleteon Werewolves. Who would be glad to know that he was thought of to be used and been used? Of course no one and definitely not a vampire, like King Timodore. With this, Queen Asalea felt the cold chill runs through her veins. As she fell to her deep slumber again, Queen Asalea did not notice anymore that King Timodore entered their room and looked at her with eyes full of love but with strips of doubts now.

He laid flat on his back beside his wife on the bed and after a moment, King Timodore falls asleep also. He could still feel the pressure and tiredness caused by the recent unimaginable experience they have encountered during the attack of the Ecleteon Werewolves.

The next day, King Timodore and Queen Asalea almost woke up simultaneously.

King Timodore rolled to his side facing his wife. "How do you feel now my Queen?" His smile is contagious.

Queen Asalea extended her hand and caressed the man's cheeks beside her, down to his supple lips. "I feel so fine now, especially that I woke up beside you." Her smile is seductive.

King Timodore could not control himself and he gave her a deep kiss. Instantly, fires within them lit up.

"Wife, can we do it now?" King Timodore whispered behind his wife's ears that gave her a warm effect, making her giggle in anticipation of his next moves.

As King Timodore claims once again the softness of his wife's lips, he forgot that prior to sleeping beside her; he was having some doubts about her true identity, including honesty towards him. Their room has been filled with passion thereafter that only their hearts could comprehend.

Thus, what will happen tomorrow is something that they would not want both to think about right now.
