On their way back, Sophia learned that Dorothy had been sent there by Aaron, and that everyday the nurses would inject her with drugs that made people either calm, or mad.
The Lien Group had been sold to Patrick. He had already found out who his biological father was, and it turned out that he was a descendant of an honorable family in Green Cold Country. His biological father and Flynn's father were brothers, but he had come from a concealed relationship, having been conceived in secret.
That meant that Flynn and Patrick were cousins.
Patrick's biological mother had married Flynn's father, and because she liked June a lot, she had come to A Country to invite her to spend the Lunar New Year in Green Cold Country with them.
Gregary got involved in so many cases that he was eventually put under house arrest. The police had also assigned several policemen to investigate Gregary and Marcella.
When they arrived home, Colin got a phone call and went straight to the office.

Sophia got a phone call from Marcella. She asked Sophia to go to the psychiatric hospital because Dorothy had something important to tell her.
Sophia intended to decline, but Marcella told her that it was about Ambrose and Colin's other child.

Sophia eventually said yes, and asked Aaron to go with her. It was a stupid thing to go there alone.
When Sophia stood at the gates of the psychiatric hospital, she realized that sending Dorothy there might have been Aaron's idea. Their father had been kept there, and Aaron must have wanted Dorothy to experience all the pain and suffer what their father had gone through...
When she saw Dorothy again, Sophia found that she was a bag of bones. She was tied to the bed, and was looking around the room with a hollow stare.
Sophia knew that Dorothy couldn't hurt her in that condition, and she asked Aaron to wait for her outside.
Dorothy saw Sophia walk into her room, and curiously smiled at her. The strange smirk made Sophia feel creepy, and she asked, "What do you know about Brody?"
"I'll tell you who his mother really is." Because Dorothy looked like a lunatic, Sophia didn't know whether she should believe what she said, or not.
Dorothy noticed Sophia's hesitation, and again said, "I'll tell you everything about Ambrose and the little girl, but in exchange, you have to help me get out of the hospital." Sophia instantly refused her, and said, "No, I absolutely will not. Dorothy, I've hated you for so many years. How could you think that I'll let you off the hook so easily?"
Instead of getting angry, Dorothy smiled, and said, "Don't you think the truth is important? Maybe you will change your mind after you know whom Ambrose's mother is. Believe me, Sophia, if I'm not telling you the truth, then let me burn for it!"
Somehow, what Dorothy said gave Sophia the feeling that Ambrose might be hers...
Sophia shook her head to clear her mind, and then walked out of the room to find Aaron. Sophia asked him, "If Dorothy ever gets a chance to sneak out of the hospital, are there any other punishments waiting for her?"
"Yes. The police has found enough evidence for her crimes, but setting her free or not just depends on Colin's order." Outside in the hallway, Aaron was sitting on a long chair and was staring at a woman's back while she was picking a plum blossom in the sun.
It reminded him that Gloria loved... plum blossoms.
After Sophia got the answer she wanted from Aaron, she went back to Dorothy's room, and said, "Okay, tell me what you know and I'll let you go.
Dorothy was revitalized by Sophia's choice. "Well, let me tell you the story about the girl as a starter. Ambrose's story will be the main course." She moved, and shook her head to keep the bangs out of her eyes.
"The girl's name is Nana." After Sophia heard what Dorothy said, her heart sunk in an instant. Dorothy seemed to know everything.
"She's Colin and Maeve's child... Hahaha..." Dorothy laughed loudly, when she saw the surprise on Sophia's face.
"Do you really think that Colin truly loves you? Sophia Lo, don't flatter yourself... Nana has uraemia, and she needs a kidney if she is to survive. They've already tried to find a donator for her for a very long time, but they couldn't find one."
Sophia's hands were getting colder. She knew that an uraemia patient had to have a kidney replacement surgery to live. She had also overheard Colin mentioning something over the phone about uraemia and kidneys with someone else.
But what struck her the most was that Nana was Colin and Maeve's daughter.
"But now they have found the right kidney for Nana. It's you, you have the right kidney for her! Do you understand now why he is so kind to you? He wants your kidney, and he wants you to feel sympathy for her and voluntarily offer the kidney for his child."

Dorothy didn't leave her any time to digest all of this information, and continued, "Colin was mad because you had cheated and left him, but he got his revenge by taking Ambrose away from you, so that he could see you lose your child with his own eyes.
Ambrose's birthday was about two months ago, and we all went to his birthday party, all except you, his mother. Oh! Your birthday is also very close to your son's, right?" That was right. Four days after her birthday, it was her child's birthday.
Dorothy continued, "More than that, everyone knows that Ambrose is your child. Wendy, Jordan, even Selina, Aaron, Hugh and Herring, they all know about it. You can ask them one by one if you still don't believe me. They all know that you're Ambrose's mother.

Soon after Aaron made the phone call, two nurses came to Dorothy's room and released her.
Dorothy was so happy to have her freedom back that she ran out of the hospital without any shoes on her feet, just like a lunatic would do.
Then, Sophia raised her head, and looked straight into Aaron's eyes. She said, "Aaron, tell me who is Brody's mother."
