Her Forever

(Book 5)- Chapter 4

Thaddeus POV

“What do we do now?” Theon and I were curled up on the couch with Trinity. She had one too many of those glasses of wine. Initially pouring one glass down the sink, she shook her head quickly and poured another glass to argue with herself why she would do such a thing.

“Weak a*s wine,” she muttered. “They don’t make wine like they do in Italy.” One bottle was gone, and she sat it on the coffee table in front of the small flat screen. “So soft, you are like mini couches,” she muttered. In seconds her body became still as her breathing evened out.

“Do we move her? She has to be uncomfortable?” Theon nudged Trinity with her snout as she curled up closer to him. “I mean, I could stay here like this all night, but her neck will be hurting in the morning.” Trinity’s head lulled to the side where it was hanging off our bodies.

After a good fifteen minutes of wiggling, we both sat on the floor in front of her. I barked once or twice to see how knocked out she was, and she didn’t even move. “Alright, I’m shifting,” I announced as I backed away from her.

“You will not!” Theon shouted as he trotted towards me. “What if she wakes up? What then? Two naked men just walking around in her house?” I snorted.

“If she really is our mate, she would put a bullet in us. I find that kind of hot.” Theon rolled his eyes.

“Stop thinking with your d**k. We need to be practical about this.”

“Fine,” I grumbled. “I’ll shift in the bathroom, so she won’t hear my bones breaking. You are the lookout.” Theon muttered curses under his breath, but I heard him. He had no balls sometimes, always thinking ahead, sometimes you gotta jump in two feet and take it as it comes. If it were up to him, we would never shift and be her damn pets for two years before he would consider it.

Closing the bathroom door, I reminded Blaine it was time to shift. We hadn’t done it in two months, longer than we have ever had been shifted as a wolf. We did it for a week once to make mother upset, but she just called Theon her little puppy. Gods, he is such a suck-up with mom. If she put a bow in his hair, I bet he would let her do it.

Damn brown noser.

The ridges of my backbone started; first, the vertebrae were always the hardest to realine and the loudest. Grunting and growling while shifting, Blaine grumbled to never go that long without shifting back to human form. The pain in my bones was still aching but standing up straight made my back feel like a million bucks.

Twisting side to side, I took a good look at myself in the mirror. Eh, we didn’t look that bad. Muscles still there, stomach still flat, might need to do a few sit-ups before we showed our bodies to Trinity. I had to be in peak condition to ravage her all night. The body was alright, now to look at the actual damage.

Looking down, I saw nothing but hair. “f**k,” I whispered. It was a damn bush down there, not to mention sporting a bit of hair on the chest. Maybe I could use her razor. Shaving my chest was no problem. I always liked a little bit of hair there. It shows how fuckin manly we are but checking out for the goods was going to be a different story. I need more than some razor for this mess.

“Hey, Theon,” I mind linked as he trotted in the bathroom. He saw me holding up a bright pink razor and opened his maw.

“You didn’t.” I looked at him and the razor and shrugged my shoulders. “Did you just shave your chest with our mates’ razor?”

“Yeah, I was gonna trim up down south, but I don’t think this itty bitty thing could do that.”

“Gods, am I the only twin that got the brains? Can you get out so I can shift? She’s still sleeping, so keep it down.”

I walked out, still holding on to the razor, and went to her kitchen. Trinity was snuggled up between some pillows on her couch, the biggest thing in the entire room. Looking through the drawers, I found some kitchen scissors, and Theon walked out.

“That was fast….” I muttered, and he held his hands on his h**s. “Give me those. You can’t do that.”

“f**k yeah, I can. I gotta look prim and proper for when we mate.”

“She has no clue about us,” he hissed. “Are you that dense? Once she finds out, it will be weeks before she does anything with us. Human speed, you dillweed.” I mimicked his face, and he punched me in the shoulder. Taking the razor, he left, but I was left with the scissors.

While he was gone, I did a hack job, but it would have to do. Trinity started lightly snoring, and I went closer to her to touch her with my own hands. Her skin was so damn soft, and the cute little noises made me want to scoop her up and take her to bed.

Oh, hey, bed. That’s a good idea. Gently scooping Trinity up without jostling her, I held her in my arms. Immediately holding, one arm behind her back and the other under her legs, her face nuzzled into my chest. Good thing I shaved because her bare cheek next to my chest was absolutely f*****g heaven.

Turning around, I found an angry Theon who also used said razor to shave his chest. Lookie there. Smirking, Trinity put her hand around my neck on my future marking spot, and shivers ran across my chest. “Gods,” I g*****d as she stilled.

“Yup, it is confirmed. Dad did drop you on your head when you came out. There is no denying it now,” Theon waved for me to follow as we took her to the bedroom. Theon opened the covers and fluffed the pillows while I gently laid her down. Her hands reached for me, and my heart instantly beat faster. Theon shared a knowing look with me.

“We’ll tell her soon. Just let her get used to having pets.” Tucking her in and moving her hand to search for one of us, we backed out of the room before she woke up.

“We need to contact the closest pack so we can get a hold of mom and dad.” Theon started spouting random nonsense. We could only get to the closest pack by using a map our grandmother gave us. However, we would have to find our bags with all the routes, but who knows where that is. As Theon is droning on, I decided to get more of that damn stew Trinity forgot to put up.

Grabbing another bowl, I filled it up and grabbed some rolls she didn’t even touch. Why make them if you aren’t going to eat them? I threw one in my mouth, and Theon was still in the living room talking to himself, pacing, naked. Shaking my head, I ripped into another bite of stew.

The bags should be somewhere around here. We must have been local when we got caught. Two months we were in the pound so close to the end of summer, and there hadn’t been any rain since then. There was a drought going on. The scent shouldn’t be too far gone if we really used our alpha senses and Blaine wants to cooperate. He won’t cooperate if he has an empty stomach, so I grabbed another bowl.

Theon ripped the bowl out of my hands and poured it back into the pot. “She is going to know something is up! Now stop this s**t!” I grabbed the other roll and stuffed it in my mouth, and walked to the bedroom. Right where we left her, she laid asleep. Theon was nagging again, so I quickly shifted, moved Trinity’s arm, and nuzzled her neck. My face was right in her breasts, where I knew I was meant to be. They were definitely large to match her fantastic a*s. She was a good handful and a half, at least. I g*****d internally as I let my snout bury itself into them. She felt so damn good.

Not long after Theon had his temper tantrum, he struts back in the room in his wolf form and nuzzles into the other side of her neck. He let out a large sigh as we made the perfect Trinity sandwich.

“When she goes to work tomorrow, one of us can go scout of the bag,” I mentioned to Theon.

“Did you not hear anything I said? I said I would go while she was working!”

“Sorry, man. I’m just out of it. I’m happy to have found her, but not only do we have to deal with going slow with her not knowing about werewolves, but we have to go even slower since she only knows us as wolves.”

“It will work out. We will figure something out quick, I swear. I won’t make you wait two months just to hold her as a human.”

“Good because, believe it or not, I really miss wearing clothes.”

“That’s a shocker.”

Trinity’s POV

Warmth enveloped my body as I nuzzled in further into the sheets. The soft beeping of my nearby alarm alerted me to get my lazy a*s up for my shift at the book store. Trying to lift my head, I smelled two familiar smells that made me just want to lay back in the bed. They were comforting, calming, and protective like.

Finally, opening my heavy eyelids, I had a cold snout that was breathing right into my chest. Bambi was looking up, staring right into my eyes. Even though these two wolves looked precisely the same, making me think they were some sort of identical twins, I always knew who they were. Maybe it was their smell? The new leather smell Bambi gives off gives such a manly vibe. Manly, I scoffed. He’s a dang wolf.

Sitting up and hearing groaning from my two wolves, I realized I was in bed. How in the heck did I get in here? I thought I stayed on the couch last night? The boys started stirring, and I immediately got up to open the back door so they could do their business. Again, Thumper waited patiently for Bambi to come back as I rolled my eyes. “You can go out at the same time, you know?” Theon looked at me but stayed sitting on his haunches as we waited for Bambi to come back.

Once their business was done, I headed to the kitchen to clean my mess. The pounded headache reminded me of the too much cheap American wine I drank the night before. “Good wine wouldn’t give such a headache. Cheap a*s Americans.” I gritted my teeth and held the bottle up to throw it away. “Never drinking American wine again.” Chucking it to the trash, I go to pick up all the wasted food I had left out the night before. This could have fed the boys and me for another two days.

As I lifted the pot, it was light. “What the?” Looking inside, there was only one serving left at the bottom. Two rolls had been eaten off of the cooking tray. “Did I sleep-eat last night?” The boys came in the kitchen sniffing around, nothing out of the ordinary for dogs looking for leftovers.

“Did you two get up here?” I glanced at them and the pot, but neither wavered. There was no way they could have jumped so high and neatly eaten out of the pot. Standing dumbfounded, retracing my steps for the evening, I found no evidence of them having another portion. I must have eaten it. I g*****d, thinking what a long run I would have later that day.

Letting out a sigh, I threw the old food away and bagged the bread. “I’ll feed you after my shower, boys, treating the hangover first,” I wiped my hand down my face as I entered. Not bothering to close the door, I stripped down to nothing. At least I kept my clothes on last night and didn’t sleep in the nude with my two dogs.

Throwing my bra to the ground, I glanced over at my pets staring at me. Shrugging my shoulders, I turned on the water waiting for it to get hot. “I’ve got to work today guys, I’m going to have to leave you here.” I started brushing my teeth while the water heated up. The water tank took forever to warm up, and I could be standing naked here for another five minutes before I even thought about getting in.

“Thumper? What’s on your ear?” A small piece of fabric hung on his left side; when I realized what it was, I started to laugh. “Did my underwear get you? I’m so sorry!” I walked towards him, but he backed up instantly. Bambi didn’t move but kept his gaze on me.

“Come here, bud, let me get it off.” I kneeled before him and grabbed it quickly, and threw it in the hamper. “There all better!” The steam was rolling out of the shower, and that was my cue to jump in feet first to get my day started.
