Her Forever

(Book 3)- Chapter 18

Willa’s POV

“Sibille,” Orion’s voice rang out harshly. I peeked around Orion, most of his body was covering my view of the room and after hearing some name with such a harsh tone I knew I had to see.

Little did I know, curiosity kill the cat.

“Who is Sibille?” I turned back to Annan who has his eyes widened at the sight. He never said anything but looked onward like seeing a ghost. This, Sibille, was wearing close to nothing. The tulle she wore that covered her breast still showed her n*****s proudly and the netting down below her private area barely left anything to the imagination. She was everything I thought a female fae should be. Graceful, beautiful, such an exquisite creature. I immediately frowned when she stood up and started to walk to Orion. The sway of her h**s, her confidence and just her presence had the room still.

Orion looked at her, eyes furrowed, and his lips spread to a thin line and into a frown. At least he isn’t too happy to see her. “Sibille,” Orion’s tone was full of warning as she walked closer, her face was innocent as she held her shoulders up and then down.

“What is it, your highness?” Her voice was sickly sweet. “I saw several of your servants getting the royal bed chambers ready, I thought you had made up your mind and chose me to be your chosen mate.” Her feet stopped just a few feet away from Orion, her hand was about to touch him until I cleared my throat.

Orion’s hand found mine and gave it a squeeze. “Who is this?” Her voice now seemingly normal instead of her candy-coated voice from earlier. “Did you bring a concubine for your harem?” Sibille ticked. Right there, fires have been shot. Who does this woman think she is?

Before I could speak, Annan put his hand on my shoulder, making sure I don’t take off the hood of my cloak. “Gracious Sibille, I must ask of you to leave. You are breaking many laws by being in this room alone.” Annan’s voice was serious as Brenden came over and grabbed Sibille’s upper arm. “What do you mean?” Again, with the candy voice. “The king and I were the last ones to be intimate with each other, one would only think that these chambers were made for me.” Sibille blinked her eyes a few times as she stared at Orion. His face never changed, he continued to stare at her with such malice.

Yet, he has yet to say a word to her.

“You must remember,” Sibille purred. “Our romp on the beach just a short time ago.” Her manicured finger got close to Orion’s shoulder until the spark in me blew a casket. “Well, obviously he doesn’t remember if you have to remind him,” I spat. Sibille’s head turned so fast, the wind direction could have changed.

“What did you say, you little w***e!?” Her hand flew back, ready to strike me but Fionn quickly intervened. “Eye, that’s enough there,” he taunted. Sibille’s anger didn’t falter as she tried to struggle and looking for Orion for help.

“First tier prison,” Orion spoke with command and our two friends took Sibille out kicking and screaming. Sibille was literally dragged from the room, the plush carpet still had her feet impressions as they drug her through. Orion stepped forward, letting go of my hand as he leaned against the foot of the bed. Annan snickered and came forward to take my cloak.

“That was brilliant,” Annan whispered as he held out his hand. Giving it a quick smack, I lifted the corner of my mouth in acknowledgement as he closed the doors behind us. Orion continued to stare off into the distance of the ocean. The suns had finally set, and the stars and moon began to come over the horizon of the ocean.

“Willa, Darling, I’m sorry.” My head whipped back to him and I walked to the foot of the bed, sitting on it while he continued to lean. “It has been over 300 years since I have had relations and unfortunately it was with that woman. We were childhood friends but over a drunken stupor we ended up doing things I deeply regret. While I was sleeping, she took it upon herself to try and change things in the castle regarding my staff and I then knew her true intentions. To try and become my chosen mate.”

I gasped a bit. Supernatural beings, from what I gathered, were dead set on having their true mate. Sure, they would have relationships before they met their intended but both parties understood that once their true mate showed up, they would discontinue the relationship. At least, that was what I understood.

“You see Willa, the Light Kingdom isn’t all rainbows and light,” Orion went to a near by cabinet and pulled out a dark liquid and poured himself a glass. “The past several thousand years, faes wanted to marry for power instead of love and happiness. They wanted a piece of the pie, a piece of the power one could have under a King. They brushed away a gift from the Goddess Selene just so they could have riches.”

Orion took a long sip while he poured water in another glass. The clinking of the ice cubes tickled my ears as looked to me and handing me the glass. “In the past 250 years I have been able to block any marriages or bonds of convenience to come into the court. That in itself has proven a pain, but I’ve managed to keep up.” He sighed and led me to a small seating arranged near the windows.

“It is the first step of changing of how this kingdom is to be run. Get rid of the money and power-hungry nobles and replace them with a new court. Representatives from each fae order around the kingdom. The sprites, the faries, the fae, whisps, nymphs and even sirens. No more nobility, no more high taxes to keep up their lavish lifestyle. Live more like the shifters do. Take what is needed when it comes to food, help one another by building homes, taking care of orphaned when needed. The basics of life taken care of by the kingdom and with the taxes of goods they earn will be filtrated back into the kingdom to create better lifestyles. Help pay for the army and their basic needs as well. People will earn what they want to have, not have it handed to them.”

I sat in awe as I listened, I hardly realized I was basically on his lap listening to him. The conviction and passion in his voice soothed my soul how he wanted to help his own people.

“The are too many times I’ve seen dirty children running the capital, they look starved and hungry, yet the court turns a blind eye. They want their diamonds, precious things and fancy houses,” he spat. This castle was originally built by the people of this nation, gifted the original king with the finest materials. In turn, that king gave the basic needs for everyone that needed it. If they did not have jobs, he supplied them. If there were no homes, he helped build them. At the time the court that was there to help oversee it all- has turned wicked and in turn, parliament can’t do a damn thing about it. The court are the votes of parliament, to make sure a king does not have too much power, but now the court holds the power. And it is making the people suffer.”

I frowned at hearing his speech. A king is a king, the final commander and speaker of a nation and now the court holds all of it? It doesn’t sound like he can do much at all, he was just a glorified person and a face of the Light Kingdom. My heart clenched at the thought of hungry children with no food.

Orion sensed my distressed and held me tightly. “Do not worry, with you by my side we will be able to accomplish much.” He kissed my forehead. “I have special places where children and the poor have access to clean food, water and shelter. It is just not an open service to keep the court at bay while we plan another way.” I sighed a bit as I rested against his shoulder.

“What about Sibille?” I whispered. Orion sighed deeply and leaned back into the cushion. “She is a high-ranking court member, well at least her parents are. Mated for convenience and now want their daughter to be my chosen mate. I’ve refused, the court cannot force me. However, her being in this bed chamber was the perfect opportunity so I could lock her up for awhile and get her out of my hair,” he chuckled and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Then why did you freeze when she was walking towards you? You didn’t’ say much of anything, I thought you were going to go to her.” Orion looked at me in surprise. “Darling never,” he kissed my lips. “I don’t show emotion to anyone, except you. My mind was wandering and on the best way to handle the situation and Annan is usually my speaker. Apparently, he was speechless himself the way she was dressed. It was quite brazen, even for a fae.”

I nodded, accepting his explanation. If Carlos came to me half dressed, I don’t think I would know what to say either.

I just hope I was beautiful enough, she looked like an angel, like him. All the faes were equally beautiful but here I was, a human looking oddly plain against all of them.

Orion and I sat in each other’s arms until we heard a knock at the door. Quietly, a cart was rolled in with food and Orion seamlessly waved them off as he approached. The main living area also had a dining room, along with a refrigerator and small kitchenette for light cooking if needed.

Orion had me sit down at the table and served me himself, a king was serving a poor, lowly peasant. I grinned as he sat down, waiting for me to take the first bit. When I finally put the chicken into my mouth, I let out a breathy m**n. The chicken fell apart in my mouth and the garlic butter sauce gave it just enough flavor. Orion would flick his eyes over time to time to catch my appearance of how I loved the food.

When Orion would look at me, it gave me butterflies. He made me feel like I was the center of his world. Everything I did, he took note of. He would always eye me as I patted my napkin to my lips or when I would wiggle in excitement for the next course of the meal.

Through the rest of dinner, we talked about our childhoods. His being much longer than mine, was full of adventure. There were battles he won, women and children he had saved such as Fionn, Brenden and Eamon. They were young fae, just barely able to grow their beards when Orion saved his family from rabid vampires going across their territory. Now they say they are indebted to them saving their mother.

I felt my own stories were nowhere near as exciting, yet he listened on with interest. I was just a book worm in high school, read every fairy tale of adventure I could find. I even told him of my child-like bedroom I had back at my cabin. Frilly lace, a bed canopy and tons of stuffed animals still adorned the bed back home. The thought made me a bit home sick thinking I would never see any of my things.

Orion assured me he already had servants gathering my things, even my clothes so I could always have them. Pictures, my childhood toys that held some memories, blankets and clothes would all be here in the next few days. My heart skipped a beat as Orion told me. He was very thoughtful and attentive to what my wishes were. Maybe one day I could gift them to my children, our children if things worked out.

After dinner we headed to the bedroom, even though there had been only two nights of sleeping in the same bed, I came to like it and was ready for a restful sleep. Before getting ready for bed I looked at the massive four-poster bed. It was almost like a gigantic canopy bed with tulle colors of whites and creams that came from the ceiling and tied at the poster part of the bed. The bed itself was larger than a king, possibly doubled in size. I tiled my bed in question what you would name this type of bed.

Orion stopped gathering his things and came behind me as I continued to look on to the bed. “What is it, Darling?” his hands wrapped around my waist. “Why do we need such a big bed?” He chuckled and kissed my neck. “Because my sweet, I plan on using every inch of that bed to pleasure you in positions you never dreamed of.” My eyes widened and I let out an audible gulp.

Orion started to saunter to the bathroom, until I called out, “you sure you aren’t just compensating for something?” I held in a laugh as he slowly turned around. His eyes had turned black and I saw his neck vein protrude a bit. If I didn’t know better, I think might have hit a nerve.

Orion took long strides to me and grabbed the back of a*s and picked me up as I automatically wrapped my legs around his waist. He flung me on the bed, and I landed with a squeak. His leg spread mine and put his weight of his body on my lower half. His member was painfully hard as he rubbed in across my core. I let out a brief sigh as he took by my wrists and put them over my head. I didn’t fight or struggle, concentrating too much on the heat on my lower half.

“Does this feel like I’m compensating for something,” he breathed as his h**s rolled into mine. I let an involuntary m**n escape my lips as his lips kissed my neck. He continued his assault as his h**s continued to hit a sweet spot. One hand continued to roam the side of my body. Up and down from the right side of my rib cage, to my lower back and finally my a*s, giving it a hard squeeze. As I gasped of the roughness, he took this as a time to stick his tongue into my mouth.

My tongue quickly followed and rubbed against his, tasting his sweet mouth on mine. He pushed his hand onto my a*s again, making his member inexplicably hard against my core. I wanted more, I didn’t want to feel just the hardness, I wanted to feel the heat.

My dress was slowly rising as he continued dancing with his h**s against mine. My hands fisted his hair as I pulled a bit to roughly. He g*****d and lifted his hand to put on the back of my leg. The warm hand slides up the back of my thigh as he lifted it up and put it around his waist. His member was now rubbing painfully hard against my whole core.

“Orion,” I breathed as he continued. His hands pulled down on my bodice and he freed my breast which made him stop his assault on my lower region. He pulled the other side of the bodice down exposing my chest to him. His eyes were dark, he looked into mine. “May I continue?” He rasped. The fae stopped to ask my permission? Orion’s face was full of desire, I could see his ears had already elongated, his fangs were in his smile and his eyes were black as obsidian. I didn’t fear him.

My mind is telling me to stop but my heart tells me something completely different. Trust the bond? For now, I will meet just halfway and think with a clearer mind later. Something that feels this good couldn’t be wrong. Feeling this pull towards him couldn’t be wrong.

“Just no s*x,” I whispered. Orion’s smile grew, showing his four fangs in his mouth. I never knew that seeing fangs would make my body ache for him to gently nip at me.

The mischief in his eyes told me I was going to be in for a ride.
