Hello Mr. Love Jinx

Chapter 37

Two years later.

In a busy commercial street of the city, a couple took the sugar gourd from the old man who sold it. They turned around and nearly kicked something under their feet.

The girl who looked like a college student almost fell down. Fortunately, she was supported by her boyfriend. She looked down at her feet in surprise.

She saw a little boy, who was about only one or two years old. He didn't cry when the girl accidentally kicked him to the ground. He got up and stared at the sugar gourd in her hand with his two big black eyes. The little girl didn't notice the little boy's eyes. She looked down at the child's lovely face and couldn't help pinching him.

"What's your name? Little cute boy. Did I hurt you just now?"

The little boy shook his head with his mouth closed, and then made up his mind to lower his head. He said, "sorry, Miss, I tripped you."

The little girl was a little surprised, thinking how smart and sensible the child was! She raised a smile and said, "it doesn't matter. Where are your parents? It's so dangerous for you to be outside alone."

At that moment, a low and graceful male voice came from above her head.

"I'm sorry, our Kimmi has caused you trouble."

The little girl looked up and was stunned by the handsome man in front of her.

He was a tall man with dark eyes, a high nose, and thin lips. The dark eyes were like a deep water, as if they could absorb her in an instant.

Seeing such a masculine opposite man, the girl can't even speak. She just want to appreciate the handsome man in front of her.

She even forgot her boyfriend.

Glenn cocked his lip. He knew that was the reaction.

It's a failure that Emma is not affected by his handsomeness.

He signed for the ten thousand time.

Then he squatted down and half embraced the little boy in front of him. His softened his voice.

"Kimmi, did you say sorry to this Miss?"

The little boy named Kimmi nodded. He looked at the girl with the sugar gourd, and then looked at Glenn again. Then he whispered to Glenn. Glenn gave him a helpless look and nodded.

Then the little boy came up to the girl. He took out a few coins in his hand, and said timidly, "Miss, can I buy your sugar gourd?"

The girl smiled and put the sugar gourd in the little boy's hand, "Of course you can. Here you are, it's free for you, because you're so cute."

The little boy's eyes brightened. Then he kissed the girl's face and said with a smile, "thank you very much."

The girl was delighted kissing by such a lovely boy. She held her boyfriend's hand and said then goodbye to Kimmi.

Kimmi put the coins into her hand and said seriously, "Mommy doesn't let Kimmi ask others for food."

The little girl was a little surprised, then she took the coins and said with a smile, "you are such a good boy. Then I will take it. Goodbye." "Goodbye, Miss." Kimmi waved his hand and said.

He held the sugar gourd which is longer than his head and stumbled towards Glenn. Then he handed it to Glenn.

"Daddy, you eat first."

Glenn bit a piece of hawthorn, then patted Kimmi's little head, and motioned for him to eat.

Kimmi licked it with a smile and then narrowed her eyes happily.

"Daddy, it's so sweet."

Glenn was still half-squatting, keeping the tide of people away

from Kimmi with his arms. He said said to Kimm with a spoiled tone, "I tried so hard to get your mother's permission to let me in. If she knows I take you out to eat this, she may

kiek me out again."

Yes, a month after Kimmi was born, Emma finally allowed Glenn into the house after he told her about the importance of a father in a family.

But it was just literally 'entering the house.' Glenn actually acted as a full-time nanny in the role of "father".

After hearing Glenn's words, and remembering her mother's angry expression, Kimmi ate the sugar gourd very quickly. Glenn was afraid that Kimmi ate too much, so he ate half of it.

After wiping his mouth to make sure nothing was left behind, Kimmi with his father looked at each other, and then followed Glenn to the car home.

"Mommy, we're back!" As soon as Kimmi got out of the car, he darted over to Emma, who was watering the flowers in the yard.

Emma put down her water bottle and squatted down to greet Kimmi.

"Baby, where did you go today?" Emma kissed Kimmi and asked with a smile.

"Daddy took me to a lot of interesting places. There are flying pirate boats, merry-go-round and lots of interesting places that Kimmi has never seen before." Emma heard her son counting where he went one by one, and thought Glenn had a sense of measured, after all, he didn't bring Kimmi to do anything dangerous. Kimmi was born weaker than other children, so Emma paid special attention to his food, clothing, housing or transportation for fear of hurting the child. She seldom allowed Kimmi to eat food outside. She always thinks it's not very sanitary and it's harmful to children. Just after the thought flashed, Emma smelt a sweet smell. She smelt it, and her face gradually became serious.

"Kimmi, what food did your father give you?"

Kimmi blinked his eyes and said innocently, "nothing, daddy only gave Kimmi two cookies made by mommy."

Emma looked at Kimmi and her voice was a little serious.

"Mommy don't like children who lie."

"Mm-hmm, just a little ice sugar gourd."

Kimmi made a gesture with his little finger and cautiously observed at Emma's expression.

Emma's face could no longer be described as serious. She sighed and said, "Kimmi, you've let me down." Then she let go of her hands that were holding Kimmi, and got up to leave.

"Whoa, mommy..." Kimmi cried.

Glenn had just asked the housekeeper to put his purchases in place, he rushed over when he saw this.

"What are you doing? It was just a sugar gourd! What's the big deal?" He took Emma's hand and pulled her back.

Emma was also in a rage. She

shouted to Glenn, "What do you know? Do you know that he was almost dying soon after he was born? Do you know that his immunity is much lower than other children? You think it's OK to eat a sugar gourd? Maybe the bacteria in it will kill him!

Glenn seemed to be enraged, too. He clutched Emma's hand and roared.

"Yes, I don't know anything. I only

know that my son has never been happy as an ordinary child since he was born only know that he lives according to your wishes when he is so young. He looks at other people's sugar gourds on the street and rémembers your instructions. Emma, don't be too sensitive, OK?"
