He used to hate her

Chapter 9

" I believe you, Madison. I don't think nobody knows about it. I shouldn't have left you. You said you will leave with your friend,
Sofia. I thought you did and I went back to my room after most of them left. I'm sorry. Please don't mind Xander's words." Henry
asked holding my hands. He doesn't have to ask sorry at all. I'm the one who should be blamed. I should have been too careful. I
failed to do it.
" It's okay, Henry. I'm okay. I will just go home and take two days break from all the drama." And then it struck me. Where is
Sofia? I rushed downstairs to find Sofia sleeping on the same table I left her. She hasn't left.
" She was here when I entered the hall," Henry said behind me.
" Sofia? Wake up," I shook her and tried to wake her up for five minutes.
" Hey, get up. We gotta leave now. It's morning."
" So, what? We don't have school, do we? I will be resting for some hours," She replied like she's in her house.
" We are still in Henry's house. We never left. Are you gonna wake up or not?" I shouted near her ears to alert her.
" We never left...then I'm not in my house...Oh my god, Why didn't you take me home? You left without me yesterday. How could
you?" She glared at me.
" No. I stayed here too. Let's go now. Get up." I urged her. Finally, we both booked a taxi.
" Why do you need a Taxi? I can take you home." Henry offered.
" You have already done a lot, Henry. Thank you. I will see you in school." I smiled and left his house with Sofia. The morning
ruined my whole day. If anyone in our class knows about this, the situation will get worse. Especially Veronica shouldn't know
this. If only Xander shuts his mouth.
I spend the rest of the day with Sofia, telling her about everything that happened with Xander. My weekend was full of
anxiousness. But when Monday comes, my life really got worse.
I was just outside of my house ready to walk to school. That's when I got a notification. A message from the school group. A
group for my grade students and other important teachers. Someone shared a picture of Xander and me. On Friday night.
There's no caption but only that picture. I expected the worse that Veronica will know about this or my classmates will gossip
about this. Neither of the options happened. I'm going to be suspended.

I reached my school and went straight to my class, thrown my bag aside and spotted Sofia.
" Who could have done it, Sofia? I can't believe this. I just warned everyone a day ago and now this happened. Whoever did this
gonna pay for this." I expressed my anger to her. But the response came from Xander.
" You did this, Madison. You started this. Our principal wants to see us now. For god's sake, come with me and complain about
yourself later."
" I already told you it's not my fault. I'm sure you would have told this to everyone and this picture...I'm not sure who took this." I
had a tight grip on my phone. I need to break this into pieces. This one device ruin everything.
" Don't I have any other work than talking about you and how you sneak into my bed?"
" First of all, it's Henry's house. You don't own in no matter how close you are with him." I said as I walked beside him to the
principal's office.
" You can't say it. You don't have the rights to argue right now. You are the root cause of everything. I have never gotten into a
problem. I have a good reputation wherever I go. Now, it's going to be spoiled because of you. All because of you." He accused
me as he opened the door to the Principal's office.
We both got scoldings due to the one picture spread in the official group. The student who passed this picture should take the
blame. Why the person who sent this doesn't matter to anyone?
" You both are getting suspended for a week and your parents should meet me by tomorrow evening." The principal said at last. I
haven't really heard what he said from the beginning. But how can I bring my parents? My drunk addict father and turned Psycho
mother can't come here. If my aunt knows about this, she might not be interested in paying for my school fees. I only have one
option left.
" My legal parents are mentally ill. I will bring my guardian in two days. I will transfer from this school after that instead of getting
suspended." I firmly said. I didn't care about what they think about my attitude.
" Are you serious?" Our principal ran out of words to talk or scold.
" Fine. I will deal with your guardian." finally he said and I exited the room while Xander walked behind me.
" You are transferring just like that..." Xander began.

" You talked more than enough. Save your words. Cause you and our whole class are going to suffer in two days. Just two days."
I made these words like a threat. He has no idea what I'm trying to say or what I'm going to do. But each and every one of them
in my class needs a lesson for bringing up this situation to me.
