“Julia!” Caroline twisted her head to glare at her. “You don’t care about David because you know he won’t do anything to you, fine. But have you thought about Nash?”

“What about Nash?”

“If he finds out you killed his child with your own hands, how do you think he’ll react?”

Julia burst into laughter. “And what exactly can Nash do to me? The moment he saw me, he forgot you existed and proposed without hesitation. In his heart, do you really think you matter more than I do?”

Caroline shouted, “But I’m carrying his flesh and blood He will hate you for this!”

“Then let him hate me,” Julia sneered, her delicate face wisting into something cruel. “I’m doing this for his own good.
