GOLDEN BLOOD

Chapter TRUE LOVE

Alexander abandoned the party and all of the people and spend the entire evening with the love of his life. He took Paris to the lotus pond where they both spent chatting the evening away.

“I’m keeping you away from your guest. Maybe I should leave.” she realized.

“If you leave I’ll be so lonely,” he said. She smiled at him, a shy, intimate smile.

His gaze moved over her face in a soft caress as a feather.

“What are you staring at?”

“You’re just so beautiful, Paris.”

Alexander was curious so he asked how she was alive.

Paris began to narrate the whole story to him.

“You got wings?” he gaped at her in utter bewilderment. That was striking news for him to discover she had wings.

“Yes, just as bold and beautiful as yours.” She giggled. “It’s getting late. I should go.”

“Just stay for a little more time, Paris.” he requested.

“Are you planning for me to never leave?”

He brought her close and hugged her. “Don’t go.”

It was painful for Alexander to see her leave. He was stranded apart before he even had a chance to be with her to cherish their love further. Her death. Her being taken away, ripped out of his life so mercilessly, had left him devastated, completely shaking his confidence. He feels extremely anxious and insecure now.

His hold on her was tight and long.

“I think you can let go of me, now,” Paris mentioned it.

“Just a little bit more… Let me fulfill my longing for six months.”

“Are you okay?” she asked. Alexander—the one who once didn’t want love.

“I believed I’d lost you forever.” Paris could feel the fear in his voice. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you. I am so sorry baby. I was so slow. Please forgive me.” He hugged her so tightly and sobbed in the crook of her neck.

She felt his pain, her own eyes filled with tears--above to fall. She hugged him back.

“I won’t let that happen again. I won’t let anyone take you away from me, Paris. That I promise you.” He swore.

Paris leaned back and cupped his face, “I’m not going anywhere. One call and I’ll teleport myself in your arms.” She ensured him, and Alexander responded by claiming her lips and kissing her deeply. The kiss was strong but the feeling was so tender.

They both separated their mouths away from each other. She trembled, breathing heavily. Paris saw a smolder of lust mingled with the passion in his dilated eyes.

“You’re making it very difficult for me to leave.” She told him.

“Then, don’t leave me. Stay here with me, Paris.” He said and kissed her again. Her skin was tingling and goosebumps formed on her bare arms.

He pulls his tongue out of her mouth. “Hmm... You’ve no idea how much I want you, Paris.” He said huskily against her skin.

Paris’s fingers went in his hair, his fingers wrapped around her breast, she moaned loving the feeling of desperation. They were kissing, celebrating this new fondness.

She wanted to call his name, but nothing came to her mind. She would give anything right now to remember his name. And if this kind of kissing and touching continue he might really keep her hostage in his bedroom, she thought warily.

“I really have to go now.” She urged only because she sensed Alexander wouldn’t just let her go. And she was right. He caught her tight when she was creating a space in between them.

“Paris...” He stared into her eyes, “I love you,” he said, unbosoming himself.

Though for Paris it was only after their second meeting. But Alexander has been in love with her forever.

She was so surprised to hear those words. She felt exaltation by his wonderful words but at the same time, she also felt pressured. She needs some time, to understand, to get to know him better.

“I feel the same...” she looked deep into his eyes, “but it’s too soon, and…”

“I know, I was just reminding you that... I’m in love with you, Paris.”

She felt relieved.

He pulled her close and brushed his nose on her cheek. “Think of me, in your sleep, in your dream, Paris.”

“Yes.” She grazed her cheek on his. “I do.” Smiling, she slowly rolled back as Alexander watched her prepare to leave. But before she took off.

“I’m sure we had the best memories, and I regret not remembering them, but I want to make new fond memories with you.” She told him and wished him. “Goodnight.”

She was swayed again by a parting kiss. “Good night my Angel.”

And poof she was gone.

He felt the aching loneliness after she left.

Love and excitement bounced back in Paris’s heart.

He was a Dracula—a blood-sucking Vampire. But, underneath that monster, prowled a far more respectable man who loves her.

Paris was so happy and so much in love. Last night was amazing, the kiss was amazing. She was daydreaming about last night’s event while learning how to bake a simple sponge.

“Paris, I’m leaving, I’ll see you in the evening.” Her mother hollered as she was leaving for work.

“Have a great day, Mom. Bye.”

“Bye honey, and don’t burn down the house.”

“I won’t,” Paris said rolling her eyes.

Minutes after her Mom left the front doorbell rang. Paris dusted her hands on the apron and went to open the door. She found Alexander standing there.

“Hi.” He grabbed her face and was above to kiss her, but she made a face and drew back.

“Something wrong?” he asked.

“Don’t touch me.”

“Paris! What’s wrong?” he frowned and lifted his hand to grab her.

“Did you... spend the night with her?” Her mood got spoiled.

“What are you talking about?”

“The woman from the party.”

“Where is this coming from?”

“I can smell her scent all over you.” Paris felt angry.

He raked his hair. “Paris, she hugged me before she left.”

In truth to be told, Melissa threw herself at him. But Alexander very crudely shoved her and asked her to leave him once and for all.

“She stayed the night?”

“I guess...” he wasn’t sure.

“Oh...” Her stomach dropped.

“Paris, I wasn’t with her, heck I wasn’t in the Mansion.”

“Then where were you?”

“I was with you, watching you sle—” He suddenly stopped talking realizing what he had just blurted out.

“You what?”

He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. “After you left, I was restless. I stood outside your house, darting at your bedroom window. I felt like a creep stalking you so I was above to leave when you said my name and I just couldn’t leave after and stayed.” he explained.

“I said your name. In my dream?”

He nodded.

“Then tell me what I called you...”

“Nice try. You forgot me, Paris. It’s your penalty for not knowing my name.”

“You’re so cruel, and technically I didn’t forget.” She said making her point.

“True.” He drew her into his arms. She made that face again.

“You’ll need to get rid of that other smell on you. It stinks.”

“Very well then,” Alexander began to strip right there.

“Wh-what are you doing?” she stammered.

“Going to take a shower.” He didn’t stop undressing.

“The bathroom is upstairs.” Shying away Paris turned herself around, giving him privacy.

“Paris...” The way he said it, her stomach muscles quivered. “Look at me.”

When she didn’t, he put his hand on her shoulder with delicacy and made her turn around.

Her self-possession was staggering. Heartbeat racing. As she turned, her eyes returned to the magnificent man standing in front of her. Taking in all his sheer maleness.

She felt an unexpected wave of heat rise as she drank on his lean, muscular build and broad, powerful shoulders.

He’d gain weight now, mostly muscles. Alexander has been feeding himself on the few bags of Paris’s blood that were neglected in the refrigeration for over six months.

He pulled her closed and she placed her hands on his chest. She took in his masculine scent. He smelt so male, she thought. Breathing in appreciatively. Swiftly it made her realize that the smell of the other woman was not on his naked body, just on his clothes.

She felt a surge of satisfaction, and love swelled in her chest again.

“You’re mine.” She said and he took her chin in his hand.

“Only yours,” and placed his lips over hers.

“Join me, Paris.” He’s got an expression on his face that can only be described as lust. Before she could say a word, he pulled her closer and his mouth was on her.

There went an explosion. His tongue swept into her mouth. His hand moved, and his cock grind on her.

The intimacy developing at this moment was undeniable.

His hands caressed her jaw; his thumb moved over her cheek, tracing the cheekbone, fingers sweeping in her hair. The feelings intensified, growing intimately—she was breathless, and his breathing was picking up the pace.

“I want you, Paris. I can’t, can’t stay away from you anymore.”

Her heart ached with emotion as well. “I want you too..,” she said huskily, confessing.

The next thing they both were in the shower, kissing hungrily, getting wet.

He trailed kisses on her jaw down to her neck and her head fell back, revealing the graceful curve of her long throat. Alexander kissed her on that fascinating spot where the warm blood was pumping in her veins.

“I want to drink you,” he asked, grazing his fangs on her skin.

“Okay,” she permitted him. His pointed sharp teeth pierced into her veins and she started to bleed blood and he drank the heavenly dew.

She squirmed in his arms. She felt light-headed. His arm moved around her waist. His erection drove in between her legs. She waited breathlessly for the sensation to stop, but the slow, sensuous movement made her more aroused than she already was.

Alexander paused momentarily; he saw the vigorous rise and fall of her breasts. All that he wanted to see, all of his favorite parts of her body were covered under her clothes. The thin wet material of her dress had become transparent from the water and had clung to her body—defining an outline of her figure and showing her mismatched underwear. Her wet hair was sleek back making her look so sensual and sexy.

The dark excitement took over him and Alexander went wild and ripped—tore her clothes off, and took her mouth once again. He went down paying more attention to her breast.

“Your name... Please, please, I need to know. I want to scream, chant. Please tell me.” She begged.

No. The warning in his eyes made her pout.

He went further down, practically kneeling at her feet he began to explore her private part hungrily with his tongue and mouth.

“Ahhh...Alex.” She moaned so loudly at the sensation, it was unbelievable.

He froze. He stood tall, looking at her between fascination and bewilderment.

“Paris...”

“Is that your name? Did I just remember your name?”

“Yes, that’s my name.” Alexander squashed his lips and his body on her.

If this isn’t true love, then what is?

The pair lost in an amazement of love and intimacy.

But someone was watching and hearing them and that someone got very envious and discontented. Who’d decided to ruin Paris’s love life?

She couldn’t really lay the blame on Alexander. She thought rubbing her scent on his clothes will create some kind of nuisance and break them apart but her plan backfired.

With the ruthlessness of her nature, she pounced on the possibility of getting rid of Paris.
