Chapter 244
Chapter 244 She Doesn't Want to Know
If Samara knew that she would run into such a scene when she came down, she would rather call someone to run errands for her. She would not come down personally and bump into Roland and Chaim fighting.
She was going to sleep because she was tired for two days. However, when she slept in her dreams, she suddenly had a familiar feeling under her body. Samara immediately woke up.
Women seemed to have a magical sense of their period. Samara woke up and hurried to the bathroom. When she saw blood, Samara knew that her period came.
These days, she was so busy that she forgot that her period was coming.
After using up all the tampons in her home, she could only go down to the 24-hour convenience store to buy some. Unexpectedly, just as she walked out of the apartment, she saw Chaim fighting with Roland in the corridor.
They were fighting again..
Hearing Roland's words, Samara glanced at him. "You guys continue."
As she spoke, she walked to the side.
Roland pursed his lips and glanced at Chaim. "We'll fight another day!"
As he spoke, he caught up to Samara. "Are you feeling unwell?"
Samara hurried downstairs. She was wearing a dress that she casually took out from the wardrobe. The wind blew and the dress touched Roland's calf. Samara moved her eyes and said, "I need to buy something."
As she spoke, she stopped at the entrance of the convenience store. "Are you not going to fight?"
Roland did not expect Samara to come down. He did not know how much she had heard either. He did not want to hide what had happened last night from Samara. "I'm sorry. I pretended to faint last night." This sudden confession made Samara a little surprised. "Why?"
Roland lowered his head and looked at Samara. His eyelashes cast a small shadow under his eyes. As the light and shadow intertwined, Samara saw a gentle smile in his eyes. "Despicably, I want more care from you."
He was so honest that Samara had nothing to say.
As for Chaim who had just caught up with them, he suddenly didn't know what to say when he heard Roland's words.
What could I say?
Sorry, I shouldn't have been impulsive last night.
Why was I impulsive?
Because Roland was kissing you.
Every word seemed to embarrass him even more. Chaim stood there and suddenly remembered what Victor said last night. "I have to say, you are no match for Roland in romance." What did Chaim say at that time?
He seemed to have said that it had nothing to do with romance.
But now, he suddenly realized that Victor's words were true to some extent.
Noticing Chaim's gaze, Samara raised his head slightly and glanced at him. "Mr. Humphrey, do you also have something to say?"
Samara said it with no expression on her face, and there seemed to be some ridicule in her tone.
When Chaim heard it, he felt his heart stop. "I'm sorry about what happened last night."
"Oh."
Samara replied, "I heard your apology. Can you leave now?"
Chaim froze for a moment and glanced at Roland, implying that he should also leave.
Samara also looked at Roland. "Mr. Garza, please leave too."
"OK." Roland raised his eyebrows.
As he spoke, he turned around and left.
However, Chaim did not leave. Samara did not care about him anymore. She went into the convenience store and casually took a pack of tampons. After paying, she went back. When Samara came out of the convenience store, Chaim called out to her, "Samara."
She stopped but did not turn around. "Is there anything else?"
"You..."
Do you still like me?
However, when the words reached the tip of Chaim's tongue, he swallowed them back. "Nothing. Good night."
Samara did not respond to him. She walked into the lobby and entered the elevator.
As for what Chaim wanted to say, she did not want to know.
