I was stunned. It turned out that Greta had got a few gigolos.
Due to the alcohol, I deliberately tiptoed to approach this man. “Let’s see if I can bear the loneliness.”
After saying that, I turned around and left. Actually, I wasn’t interested in this kind of man, especially the one with an ulterior motive.
Greta was not far away from me. I didn’t know what she was doing there. Seeing that I walked over to her, she just scurried back to her
seat.
“I’m a light drinker. I have to go home and sleep.” I covered my head and really felt a bit dizzy. If I got too hammered, I’d be scolded by my mom when I went home.
“I have to go too. I still need to work tomorrow. Alas.” Cecelia also got up. Her voice implied that she didn’t really like working.
Greta pouted. “It’s still early. If you both leave, it won’t be fun if I stay alone. Let’s go together!”
She got the bill and said goodbye to the handsome guys before the three of us left.
We each called a driver over. Before we parted, Greta giggled mischievously, “Syl, will Frederic be mad at you about having a drink with other guys?”
“Don’t mention him. He’s bad luck.” I got in the car and then waved at Greta.

“Bye!” Somehow, she looked quite happy. She just got into her BMW
and left.
I told Marcel to drive before having a rest with my eyes closed.
When the car was close to getting home, a rapid deceleration just woke me up. I was freaked out. “Marcel, what’s wrong?”
“Mrs. Hudson, it seems to be Mr. Hudson’s car.” Marcel pointed at the Bugatti on the way.
Why did Frederic appear on my path home? I rubbed my temples. “Alright. Marcel, you may drive my car back home first. It’s late now.”
“OK.” Marcel was a good driver. He just turned the car around and left.
It was a five–minute walk from here to my home. I went around the Bugatti and meant to go home on foot.
Frederic got out of the car and stood in my way. He looked really furious now.

“Here. Explain this to me. What’s this?” Frederic showed me a tweet.
It was a photo of me tantalizing that guy at the door of the washroom. I was very close to that man on tiptoe. It seemed that we were really intimate.
Well, this tweet was posted by Greta
She also wrote, “There’s plenty of fish in the sea. Syl has finally let go of him.”
I burst into laughter. “It actually rhymes.”
“Sylvia Hudson!” Frederic called my name through gnashed teeth and

put on a cold look.
“Didn’t you say that? We can live our own lives. Why are you questioning me now?” I became serious and asked Frederic.
Frederic sneered, “We can live our own lives, but who told you to make it public?”
I almost forgot that Frederic and I have friends in common. Greta was not an exception. Certainly, her tweet would be seen by Frederic’s friends. Those who disliked him would definitely mock him with this matter.
Given his dignity, he wouldn’t allow such provocation. Besides, Frederic was such a man of status.
No wonder Greta giggled like that tonight. It turned out she wanted to irritate Frederic.
“Fine. I’ll tell Greta not to post tweets like that.” I felt dizzy for real. I didn’t want to argue with Frederic here. All I wanted was to go home and sleep.

After saying that, I turned my head and meant to leave, but my hand was grabbed by Frederic.
I felt my wrist was almost broken. My wrist was too thin, so I let out a painful cry. “Ouch…”
Then, I lowered my head and bit Frederic’s arm.
Frederic must be shocked by my wild action. He didn’t shake me off at once but let me bite him. His arm was muscular and I felt quite good biting it.
“Are you crazy?” Frederic finally thought of shaking me off. He
grabbed the nape of my neck and shook me away madly. There was a

bite mark on his arm. Even the number of my teeth could be recognized.
I took a meaningful glance at Frederic and felt really bitterly sad. I’d liked him for such a long time, but I had never left any trace of mine on him. Afterward, Emilia left countless hickeys on his neck. I saw that a few times in the last life.
They must have been together and in love at that time.
Leaving a bite mark would make up for my regret.
“Frederic, you don’t get to question me. Over the past years, there have been so many women having affairs with you. Don’t I deserve any respect? Does no one laugh at me behind my back?” I wiped the corner of my lips. I could smell a faint smell of blood. Frederic’s arm’s skin must have been broken.
Frederic replied indifferently, “Didn’t you ask for it? Did anyone force you to agree with my grandpa to marry me?”
Of course not. Back then, if anyone disagreed with me marrying him, I would surely fly into a rage, not to mention if anyone forced me to
agree.
I expected that Frederic would fall in love with me over time.
“Yes, I asked for it, but people change. Now, I’ve thought it through. I don’t want to be bound by my wishful thinking, OK?” I asked.
“No way!” Frederic’s answer was as cold as before. “Since you’ve chosen a path you shouldn’t choose, you should pay a price for it.”
“Frederic, believe it or not, you’ll propose divorcing me soon? You will want me to disappear from your sight?” I suddenly asked. One year was neither long nor short. It was good to make a bet on that.

Frederic stared at me coldly, “Sylvia, stop daydreaming.”
He was really vindictive. He would even get revenge at the cost of hurting himself
I heaved a sigh. “Alas, why don’t you believe me? Just wait and see. You’ll let me go one day. I’ve had some wine tonight. I want to go home and sleep. Just leave.”
“Come back to Maple Villa to sleep.” Frederic grabbed me easily and then put me into his car. Did he just not let me continue staying at my parents‘ place?
I objected strongly, “No way. I’m not going back to Maple Villa. Open
the door!”
Frederic glanced at me and paid no heed to my objection. The car left my home quickly and headed to Maple Villa.
I glared at Frederic restlessly. “Send me back. I’ve left things behind.”
“What things?” he asked lightly.
“Vitamins.” I was really speechless. Was it so difficult for me to take some medicine?
“Do you have cancer?” He really didn’t know how to talk properly. No wonder so many people wanted him to go broke, especially those who had been trampled by him.
I laughed. “No. I’m just too thin and want to improve my stomach functions. I want to be a plump beauty.”
Frederic seemed to think of something. His cold face became even grimmer.
