Chapter 115
I was a little happy. I refused Frederic’s invitation today.
Frederic finished smoking and came back. He smiled at me and said, “Come on, let’s continue.”
“No way! Go die! You jerk!” I grabbed a pillow and threw it at Frederic. Frederic caught the pillow, threw it on the ground, and walked towards me. Once again, he grabbed my hand.
“How did I not know before that you liked to curse so much?” Frederic said as he climbed onto the bed.
I eventually gave up resistance and let Frederic have his
way.
Frederic was still very talented in lovemaking. It was a pleasurable experience to be intimate with him. I enjoyed it for most of the night.
Unfortunately, the next day was Evie’s birthday. I had to wake up early and get ready to go to her house.
When I was doing my makeup, was startled by my reflection in the mirror. With big dark circles under my eyes and a pale complexion, I could easily pass as a ghost.
Frederic came in from outside, still looking handsome as
ever.
Compared to me, Frederic was like a favorite child of God.
“Frederic changed his clothes and went downstairs. We left as soon as we finished breakfast.” Frederic seemed to have forgotten everything that happened last night and started treating me like a stranger again.
I didn’t want to bother with him, so I got up and went to the wardrobe to find clothes.
Ernie and Evie liked elegant daughters–in–law. To cater to their preferences, I chose a set of white clothes.
Of course, I had to put on makeup to conceal my exhaustion.
Finally, I took the birthday gift had prepared for Evie downstairs. Frederic was already having breakfast. He saw me coming down and waved at me, gesturing for me to hurry up.
After finishing breakfast, Frederic and I went out together. As we passed by that snowman, Frederic asked me, “Why did you only give it a nose? What about its eyes?”
“It turns out it had eyes. However, I took them away later,” Frederic’s words made me angry, so I reached out and destroyed the snowman’s nose too.
In the face of my provocation, Frederic remained calm as ever. In the past, he would have surely thought that I was trying to get his attention again and found me annoying.
But this time, Frederic simply reattached the snowman’s nose onto the snowman.
The car outside the door had already accumulated a thick layer of snow. Frederic had no choice but to go to the garage and drive another car.
We started off to Evie’s house.
Passing by the Gemini Chemical Co. again, I noticed that
the place where Emilia and the others lived had been demolished.
I was curious about where Emilia is living now. I still remember my agreement with Kira, and I plan to find some time to visit her.
