After dinner, Greta, as usual, dragged me, Janessa, and Cecelia to the bar. Greta said she would never get married in the future, as the bar and nightclub were her second
home.
“Isn’t it just men? Look, aren’t they all here?” Greta shook her glass of wine, raised her chin, and let us see the various men coming and going in the bar.
If I had Greta’s attitude towards men, I wouldn’t have had insomnia and nightmares last night.
I dreamt of the day when I got married to Frederic. However, at the wedding, the bride was Emilia instead, and Frederic, unlike his usual cold and heartless self, was very gentle towards the “bride“.
What was this if not a nightmare? Even thinking about it now makes me feel uncomfortable all over.
“Syl, the dance you did at the bar last time was so sexy. How about doing it again today?” Janessa suddenly laughed happily.

“Don’t say that either,” I said with a bitter smile, taking a sip of my drink. “Don’t you know what kind of person Frederic is? Emilia is just an ordinary college student, she can’t resist his power at all.”
Greta put down her glass and cupped my face, staring at me with wide eyes. She said, “Syl, how could you speak up for a third party? Whether she was forced or willing, this is simply unethical!”
Cecelia also added, “Yes, we should be forgiving to ourselves and strict with others!”
I was amused by these two people. They didn’t know my current state of mind. I now believe that for things that are destined, I don’t need to be too obsessed and desperately try to change them. It will only give me breast cancer and an early death.
Just as we were drinking and chatting, a familiar voice
came from behind, “What would you like to drink? It’s on
me.”
A few of us turned back at the same time and took a glance. That kid Davin was dressed very fancy. He leaned against the bar, deliberately striking up conversations with women in a deep voice.
“Then you can accompany me to have a drink!” The woman seemed like someone who frequented nightclubs, and her voice was very seductive.
“I won’t be responsible if you get drunk!” Davin didn’t notice us and was still focused on picking up girls.
“If I get drunk, just arrange a place for me to sleep, okay?” The woman laughed somewhat frivolously.
Just as the two of them were about to drink and have fun together, Greta, with evil intentions, suddenly shouted, “Davin! You fucking went out to play right after getting cured of impotence at the hospital? Didn’t the doctor tell you to abstain for three months?!”
With a shout, Davin was so scared that he almost dropped his glass, immediately showing anger on his face and looking around for the person who slandered him. When he saw Greta, the anger on his face instantly turned into fear.
The woman, upon hearing Greta’s words, couldn’t help but show a skeptical and disdainful expression. After glancing back and forth at Davin’s crotch, she sneered and turned away.
Janessa, Cecelia and I couldn’t help but burst into laughter. Greta was really mischievous.
Although Davin was terrified, he still came to us because it concerned the dignity of his manhood. He pointed at Greta angrily and said, “You tiger mother, stop talking nonsense here and ruining the reputation of this young master!”
“Davin, do you remember when I said that I would hit you every time I see you in the future?” Greta stood up, despite being shorter than Davin, but her presence was intimidating.
