Chapter 15
Gina.
After finishing my chores that morning, I went back to my room and stayed there, not wanting to see any of the triplets. I have come to realize that I can only stay mad at them for as long as I don’t see or go close to them. All my anger just sort of disappears whenever they are close to me or say my name.
I hadn’t stayed up to ten minutes in my room when I heard Gina calling my name. I came out only to see her standing with the triplets by her side.
They were standing next to her as if they were her bodyguards, and it would have been a really cute and wishful sight to behold if I wasn’t jealous.
Yeah, I get it. I am not supposed to be jealous, but I can’t help it. I don’t know why, and it makes no sense that I should be jealous of the girl who is being showered with love by her friends.
I bet they all took turns on her last night after they made me k**s them, stupid dumb motherfuckers.
“You called,” I said to her, completely ignoring the idiots with her.
“Yeah, we are going hiking in the woods, and these bags are not going to carry themselves, are they?” She said with a stupid grin while pointing to her backpack that is fully loaded as if she were going on a three-day vacation outside the one we are already having.
I wonder why she always has to tag me along wherever she and her stupid mates are going out. Does she not understand the fact that this special outing is supposed to be for them alone?
I f*****g feel like I am entering a lion’s den whenever I find myself among them; I am so helpless.
“Yeah, give me a second,” I said as I closed the door and rested my back against it while silently cursing them all out in my heart.
Can I please be twenty-one already, so I can get the f**k out of here? I just want to go somewhere very far from them, and maybe after that, I will have my sanity restored.
Well, since she wants me to come with them, it’s only fair that I dress up and have some fun. So I checked the bag that Devon had previously brought for me to see if I could find anything that suited the occasion.
I found ripped jeans that stopped right before my knees and a free-size t-shirt that had “Big, Bold, and Beautiful” inscribed on it.
The combination looked so amazing on me, especially after I tied the t-shirt at the back, leaving a little skin between my back and waist. I looked amazing, but since I didn’t want to appear like I was trying to get dressed up for anyone, I loosened the shirt and let it flow over my huge h**s.
Devon has to be the best among the brothers; he has a good sense of taste and fashion. I am surprised that he could guess my size so perfectly.
I packed my hair into a ponytail before wrapping it into a donut. A final look at myself confirmed the fact that I make clothes look good on me.
Being on the big side gives a certain advantage, one of which is the fact that you can make any dress look good when you style it the right way.
I walked out of my temporary room to see that they were still standing and waiting for me, with Derrick’s hands wrapped around Gwen’s waist.
All their eyes seem to connect with my body the moment I walked out of the room, and as annoying as it seemed, I liked it.
The flickers in their eyes, the sudden dryness of their lips that they need to wet with their tongues. And the caged animals within them begging to be freed. Knowing I could affect them this much, gave me deep satisfaction.
Though, I f*****g don’t know why I even have to notice the fact that Gwen was looking so happy flirting with Derrick while the other two brothers looked on.
I went into the kitchen to pack essential items that would be needed on the way: water, snacks, and a few energy drinks. Then I packed a foldable mat for us to use in case we needed to take a break.
I backed Gwen’s bag and was going to carry the bag with the snacks and drinks when Devon stopped me and carried it instead.
Gwen gives him a disapproving look, but he plays it down with a boyish grin.
We all started our trip into the woods, and after about an hour and thirty minutes of walking, Gwen started complaining about how tired she was, and when Derrick volunteered to carry her, she happily accepted and hopped on his back.
As soon as the triplets noticed Gwen was sleeping, they signaled themselves, “Let’s take a break,” Denver, who has been very quiet since we started the walk, said.
We looked for a tall tree that had sufficient shade to spread out, sit down, and take a light refreshment. I gave each triplet a bottle of water and a pack of fried potatoes from the bag.
Gwen was still sleeping, her head now resting on Derrick’s lap.
“We need to talk with you, all three of us,” Denver said, as soon as I was done distributing their refreshments.
My eyes instinctively went to the sleeping Gwen with the little snores eloping her lips.
“Don’t worry about her; she is a heavy and lazy sleeper,” Devon said, giggling.
“I don’t want to talk about anything; I saw nothing, and even if I did, it’s none of my business,” I said, trying so hard not to let my emotions show through my words.
“Then why are you hurting?” Denver questions, using his thick and domineering voice on me.
“I’m not,” I blurted out defensively.
“Yes, you are; we all can feel the fact that you are hurting, and it’s not reflecting well on us,” Derrick, who still had Gwen’s head on his lap, said.
“So what are you guys going to do about it?” “It’s evidence that whatever you guys think you feel for me is out of pity and not love—maybe l**t, but not love,” I said, trying to completely ignore their gazes, which were poking every part of my body.
“I don’t know what you are talking about, but one thing is certain, and that is the fact that I want you,” Derrick said, while softly caressing Gwen’s face as if trying to make her sleep more.
“Me too,” Devon quickly added to what his brother had said. Denver needed not to say anything because his deep, penetrating eyes on me did all the talking.
“It is obvious that we all want Gina, but we have to be careful not to put her in any type of trouble,” Derrick said, and I was thrilled by his concern for my safety.
“If Gwen finds out about any of this, she is going to be so pissed,” Devon commented.
“Do you feel the same way we feel toward you?” Derrick asks, and his questions throw me a bit off.
How am I supposed to admit to him that I feel attracted to all three of them and that they ignite the fire that I never knew I had?
“Look, that is not important; the most important thing right now is that whatever you guys call this thing you think you have towards me is wrong,” I said, noticing how my heart ached badly at my own words.
“I could get you anything you want; just name it,” Devon said, and as sweet as that sounded, it didn’t make me feel any better.
Gifts were far from what I needed unless all three of them are nicely wrapped presents.
Just then, Gwen starts stretching to wake up before she eventually opened her eyes.
“What did I miss?” She said with a yawn, while she was attempting to wipe the sleep from her eyes.
“We were waiting for you to wake up so we can go mountain climbing,” Derrick said to her.
No one mentioned there were mountains around here; I have always secretly enjoyed climbing stuff, tight from a tender age. This is going to be so much fun.
“Mountain climbing? I f*****g don’t want that! What if I fall or bruise my skin?” Gwen grumbled as she munched on her potato chips.
“Then you can stay here with Denver while Derrick, Gina, and I go,” Devon said to the disapproving low growl from Denver.
“Wait, what makes you think Gina can climb a mountain with a fat a*s?” She said, “Giggling.”
“Well, for some reason, I won’t be scared of breaking my a*s bone if I fall,” I was going to say to her.
But since I am still her maid, I guess I should kill her multiple times over in my heart before I lift an actual finger on her.
“We will teach her,” Derrick said in a tone that promised that this mountain climbing is going to be super cool.
