Chapter 118
“And that group, the insults have never stopped these days! I will report that group sooner or later! I will make everyone who spreads rumors there pay the price!”
Natalie lowered her gaze, lost in thought.
Elizabeth continued to persuade her, “We can’t let these fleas feel so proud every time!
“We have to show them who’s boss!”
It wasn’t until a cup of coffee was finished that Natalie finally relented, “Okay, if Josh is free tomorrow and willing, I’ll accompany you.”
“Okay!”
Natalie returned to Galaxy Manor, finished feeding little Ginger, but her mind was elsewhere.
‘How should I tell Josh about it?‘
She found it hard to put it into words.
She waited anxiously in Galaxy Manor.

Coincidentally, Josh seemed unusually busy tonight. It was already 7:30 pm when she finished dinner under Spencer’s urge, and he still hadn’t returned.
She grew more anxious.
It was at eight o’clock.
After taking a shower, she went downstairs for a look.
The living room downstairs was still lit. When Spencer saw her, he asked suspiciously, “Mrs. Franco, what’s wrong? You seem preoccupied tonight.”
“No… It’s nothing,” Natalie replied softly. “Has Josh come back?”
“No.”
“Still not back yet?”
Spencer wore a reassuring expression and smiled, “Mrs. Franco, don’t worry. Mr. Franco used to be busy until this late, and he just came back, so he certainly has a lot of things to deal with… If you miss him, why not give him a call? Or should I call him?”
Thinking about Josh’s annoying temperament, Natalie immediately said, “No need!”
If she called him and asked, he would surely pester her for quite some time after returning…
Natalie turned and went back upstairs.
However, perhaps because she was uneasy, she first hugged the cat for a while and then practiced the piano in the music room.
Playing the piano indeed calmed her mind.
Soon, an hour had passed…
But he still hadn’t returned.
Another hour passed.
Natalie had looked down the stairs three times, but he still hadn’t returned.
Seeing Natalie return for the third time, Spencer, with a compassionate expression, dialed Josh’s number from the living room landline.
In the Office of the President.
In the quiet late night, this castle was eerily silent, and one could even faintly hear the nightingale’s song.
After a busy afternoon, Josh felt mentally exhausted. He took off his frameless glasses, rubbed his forehead, and glanced at his phone.
It was already half past ten.
There were no notifications on his mobile phone.

Josh rubbed his temples again, and the already indifferent and exhausted crease between his eyebrows seemed even more melancholic.
Just then-
His private cell phone rang.
It was the landline phone from Galaxy Manor.
Martin, who was beside him, was surprised to find that the President, who had just been filled with melancholy, suddenly seemed as if the ice and snow in his eyes were melting.
The call was answered.
For some reason, Josh furrowed his brows slightly and the coldness in his eyes resurfaced.
Martin’s legs trembled for a moment with a chill!
“What’s the matter?”
Spencer sensed keenly that the President’s mood seemed a bit off.
Spencer thought, “Was he busy and I disturbed him?‘
“Well, Mrs. Franco seems very worried and misses you tonight. She has come downstairs three times since eight o’clock to see if you have returned, so I called to ask.”
As soon as he finished speaking, Martin saw once again that the strong melancholic atmosphere surrounding Josh miraculously dissipated, and the warm light floated around the office, as if spring had arrived.
Martin was stunned.
He wondered, ‘Is Mr. President performing magic tricks here?‘
