Interrogations

Meira did as she was asked, and she could not be prouder of her daughter as she was acting as a true queen right then. Meira and Susan ran to Clara’s room, shutting the door and locking it tightly. Xavior did give her back the envelope before taking off to handle the breach.

When he and Dunken got there, the warriors had some rogues tied up, but they were missing a couple of the others that filtered through. Dunken and other guards went to look for those that filtered through the gates so they may be cuffed and thrown in the dungeons along with their group.

Clara walked to the pack hospital and went straight to her father’s room; the doctor looked over his vitals again.

“Has anyone been in here?”

“Just you, princess. Why?”

“We have a breach; we think Libby and Felix are heading this way, if not into the castle. Also, I have something for you to put into the IVs to bring Dad out of his stooper and save his wolf.”

“Where did you get this from?”

“Susan, she saved it because of Libby and what she did to him all these years by poisoning him. I want him and his wolf up so that he watches me take away what is mine.”

“Little vengeance princess?”

“What he has done to mom and my family, by kicking them out of the castle then marking that bitch, not training me to take over as the Head of all Weres, then yes, it is vengeance against him.”

“Let me have the vile you are holding.”

The doctor put the entire vile into the IV so the king could come out of his coma and his wolf could be in good shape. She looked at her father and told him she was sorry, but things were changing fast, and it had to be this way whether he liked it or not; she was now the leader and getting things done with or without his approval, all she needed was her mother’s approval.

She sat there for a bit when four guards entered the room; she looked at them and heard some commotion outside the room. She got up to look and saw Libby and Felix trying to make their way into the king’s room; the guards came running out.

“Arrest them, now.” She yells to the guards.

The guards took Felix and Libby into custody, cuffing them in silver cuffs soaked with wolfsbane. I do not want them getting free. The guards escorted the two out of the hospital and across the yard heading for the dungeons.

They took them to the dungeons, hooked them both up with chains around their ankles, wrists, and neck, and gave them shots in their neck to put their wolves to sleep so that they could not use their strength to break free. They were pissed off to no end. The warriors, guards, Xavior, and Dunken put all the other rogues behind them in the attack. They chained them up and gave them wolfsbane to put their wolves to sleep. One of the guards locked the doors behind them and left the dungeon heading back to the hospital.

Clara went to her room and found Susan and her mother laughing and talking about what they had missed after they both had gotten married and had kids. They became fast friends in a short time. Clara just stood there, witnessing her mother and a new friend laughing.

“What is happening here?” Clara questioned her mother.

“We grew up together, then went our separate ways and had our own lives to live,” Meira stated.

“That is lovely, Mom, but she took and forged documents, those birth certificates with Libby’s name on them along with Dad’s name. She must be investigated, and we must know what is happening.” Clara whined.

“Yes, Xavior will do that in just a few moments. He is on his way right now and should be here shortly. He will ask her the questions.”

“Come on; you will need to leave, Mom. You cannot be here with us when we question her,” Clara explained.

“Susan, I will see you later. Let’s have lunch one day this week.

“Sure, Meira, I would love that.”

Meira left the room and walked to see the king in the hospital. She visited him briefly, returned to his office, and did paperwork. She kept working through the papers, scanning them into the computer system as Clara did. When she saw something that did not look right, she put it aside with a note for Clara or Xavior to look at it.

Xavior started the interrogations with Susan. She was lucky she did not get beaten because she came clean about what happened.
