From Here to Ecstasy

Chapter 33 - Sick Teachings

Dedicated to N.Y.O.B. You light up my day with your comments. Thank you.

Recap:

“So, Moon Goddess, “ he sneered. “What do you think you can do to me?”

And, the idiot opens his mouth again.

“Well, I could be nice and let you meet your mate, then take your wolf from you and teach him humility, leaving you to learn humility yourself,” she answered as she looked behind me.

Hell, no!

Griffith's POV

I knew Kaley and Haley were right behind me. I wondered if one of them knew this asshole was their mate. I would guess that they definitely knew. This asshole was not going to be with any of them. I wouldn’t allow it. I had read this rogue’s mind and knew he was as sick as they came.

“My mate, right. I don’t have a mate, my father told me himself before he died,” he jeered, trying to look where my grandma was looking.

Kaley stepped out from behind me as I reached for her arm to stop her. I caught my grandma’s eye as she gave me a short nod, letting me know to let Kaley go.

The rogue stared at Kaley as if he was reading her mind. “I wouldn’t want you as you are now. You’re a sick man. A rapist. A murderer. A stealer of mates. Why would I ever want him? I wouldn’t be able to trust him,” Kaley sneered, her arms crossed over her chest. She narrowed her eyes at the rogue. "Eyes up here, asshole."

“I didn’t know I had a mate,” he whispered.

“Well, I could give him six months without his wolf. We could see how he acts and if he can be trusted. Once you give me your word that he’s trustworthy then I will give him back his wolf.” She turned towards the rogue. “But, Alex, if you try to leave this territory, not only will you lose your wolf but also your life.”

“What? You’re going to take my wolf? How will I protect myself? I-”

“-it’s not YOU anymore. If you want me to take you as my mate then you will need to prove to me you’ve changed. It will do you and your wolf good to learn humility. When you’re in a pack it’s not about just you anymore, understand? And, I can teach you how to fight more efficiently in your skin,” Kaley answered him, giving me a cheeky wink.

Whew boy, this man is not going to know what hit him. Kaley may be a little reserved at times, but she was hell on wheels when she wanted to get her point across. I couldn’t wait until she shows him she’s not just a piece of eye candy.

“What say you, Alex? You want to die now or see if your mate will take you as her mate?” The Moon Goddess asked him as he stared at Kaley.

“And, I’m about to be fifteen. You will need to wait for me until next year unless I reject you because of your action. Think before you agree,” Kaley informed him as she sighed.

I watched as his eyes tracked between Kaley and our grandma. He didn’t have much of a choice. I was worried about our pack members. I didn’t trust this twat, Trace’s words, but a great name for this wolf.

“I hope you have the patience of a saint, mate. I will do everything to make you proud of me. I need to get over what my father taught me. He was wrong about so many things. He wasn’t a good man either. He-”

“-Shut up! Shut up! Shut up, Alex! Our father was a great person! You are only acting this way because of her!” The other rogue yelled as he threw a blade at Kaley.

Alex had his back to his brother, but he knew it wasn’t good when he heard everyone’s gasp. Kaley smiled like a loon and waved her hand, turning the blade back on the rogue. She made sure to hit him in the leg only.

“What the fuck are you?” He yelled as he glared at her.

“ I. Am. A. She-wolf. Who. Doesn’t. Take. Shit!” Kaley yelled, tilting her head at something. “I suggest you wipe your mind off of your evil plans. You won’t have time to put them in action.”

Alex tilted his head in question. “What?”

“The Moon Goddess, my grandmother, will decide his fate. It’s not my place.” She looked at him sadly. “But, he’s a lot more evil than you. He knew you had a mate. He wanted you to be rejected. He hated being your brother and was looking for ways to kill you. Like, poison in your food. Knocking you, accidentally, out of a high point. He even went as far as to try and shoot you with a rifle, armed with silver bullets.”

“What?” He asked as he turned pale.

“How would you know what I’ve done?” He asked, not realizing he let the cat out of the bag.

“Moon Goddess’s granddaughter, duh,” Kaley told him sarcastically.

Kaley’s words had finally caught up to Alex. “You tried to kill me on several occasions. Every one of the things she said was true. I remember everything you have done. You tried to be sympathetic, but I could tell it was fake. I figured you didn’t want to show emotions or our dad would beat you, but nooo.”

The rogue started laughing. His laugh was full of hatred, evilness, sickness. He was disgusted with his weak brother. If he had been a real man he would have taken on his father’s teachings and been happy to rape, pillage, murder, and rape. I read everything in his mind and knew this man could not be trusted. And, his wolf was just as bad as he was. I couldn’t believe how sick his dad had to be to teach his son’s his sick ways. Who does that?

“Well then. I best get this over with.” The Moon Goddess walked over to the rogue and looked him straight in the eyes, causing the man and wolf to growl at her. She growled louder, her wolf showing in her eyes. The man backed down for a second and started his shit again.

“I tried so hard with you. I tried to teach you peace. I was watching when you were born. I noticed the darkness in you then. I watched as your father left you to cry. Your mom tried to teach you love, but your father would beat her if she did. Matter of fact, he beat her to death and blamed it on a rogue. Your brother has a chance to redeem himself, you, not at all,” the Moon Goddess told him.

“I can…”

A/N: If you see Griffith's mates name as Willow it would be correct. I somehow messed up Autumn's, Winter's, and Willow's names. Yeah, I'm all here.
