From Here to Ecstasy

Chapter 3 - All Of You

Recap:

“But of course, Griffith. I hope you are enjoying being an Alpha. I know you’ll do a great job getting this pack in order again. Let me know if you need any help. And, let me know if you need help with the skin-walker,” Maximus told me as I whipped my head up to Maximus, catching my mom's shocked face.

Griffith's POV

“Well, don’t I feel like an idiot? I couldn’t remember what she was after death. Her being a strong witch and evil, she would have to be a skin-walker. Thanks, King Maximus,” my mom told Maximus, bowing a little towards him out of respect.

“Hey! I challenged the child. I can’t go back with you when I become Alpha. You can’t touch me,” Scott yelled, raising his fists to strike Maximus. Maximus moved fast as he pinned him on the ground, his men teleporting to him. He brushed off his men and stood up.

“You are part vampyre, you dip-shit! I can command you to follow me as if I was the Pied Piper” Maximus shouted at him. “Or, I can take him with me and make sure he hangs by his feet as I cut off his head?” Maximus asked as he gave me a devious smile. “You’re welcome to come and watch if you want.”

“I’ll give him to you after I take his wolf away from-”

“-what? No one can take a person’s wolf away, liar!”

I didn’t let him finish throwing his insults my way. I circled my hands and Scott’s wolf, Royce, was separate from Scot, His wolf, Royce, trotted over to me and tried to sly take a bite out of me. I wasn’t having any of it. I grabbed Royce by the throat, binding his legs together. I didn’t want him to tear me up.

“What did you do to my wolf? Give him back now!” He yelled as loud as he could. He was crawling to me on his hands and knees, crying and moaning about his need for his wolf - something he would never have returned.

I shook my head at him, stopping him in his tracks. “You are going with King Maximus as soon as Royce is dead. He won’t be reborn ever again. He had his chance to do the right thing, just as you did. You spat in your King’s face and the Moon Goddess’s face by your words. Bye now. King Maximus, thanks for taking care of the shit-stain. He has a lot of sins. He took mates and defiled them against their will. Make his punishment as hard as possible, but be true.” Maximus nodded his head and disappeared as I turned around and looked at the witch.

“I challenge this bitch.” She pointed at Autumn. “For her mate.”

Autumn narrowed her eyes at the witch for a second and laughed darkly. “I’m afraid you would need to beat both of us for him to be your mate.” She turned until she was inches away from the witch's face. “He’s both our mates and he was Goddess given to us!" Autumn tilted her head to the side. "And, who in the hell challenges for a person’s mate? You’re not even a wolf.”

“I don’t care. I’ve wanted him the moment I saw him, but I wanted to see what it would be like to be a Luna. I wanted to have my pick of children from this pack for my spells,” she told me as she gasped loudly, covering her mouth with her hand. “What the fuck did you do to me? A truth spell? Really?”

“It’s nice to know how evil you truly are. I will gladly take your life from you,” Summer told her, a grin on her face. “Oh, and I truth spelled you.”

“Autumn, there can’t be challenges for mates without the permission of said mate,” my mom told her, an evil grin on her face and her hands rubbing together as if she was a villain in a cartoon.

I wanted to laugh, but this witch needed to be dead and soon. I wasn’t going to give her an idea to challenge me too, not that she would win. I heard the girls call their mate, knowing he had heard the whole thing. He kept looking at me, his eyes were wide and scared. I could read his mind and it was telling. He didn't want his mates to fight. He was their protector. He was worried about them but didn't want to undermine his mates. He wasn't used to women fighting.

I forgot he didn’t know the girls could fight with both hands tied behind their backs. “They know how to fight. They won’t be beaten. I watched them fight challengers when they were younger than they are now. Plus, my mom trained them,” I informed him as he walked over to my sisters.

“What say you, Beta Micah? Do you agree to the challenge for you,” My mom tried to say without breaking out with a big smile.

He looked at Autumn and Winter, making up his mind about the challenge. “I agree.” The witch smiled at him, glee in her eyes. “But, you never will win me, you evil bitch!”

"I'm evil, yes, but I still want you and your power. If I can't be a Luna I will take a Beta female. And, I want you - all of you," the witch explained, licking her lips and looking my Beta up and down as Micah shuddered in disgust

Mom went over the challenge rules as if there were rules. The only one I had ever heard was a rule that was the one about interfering or stepping out of the ring.

“Fight!” My mom yelled.
