FROM HELL

"I don’t have time for this”

I said starting to walk away from the old man I despised, even if I had no clue where the hell I’m heading. The place was mostly dark and I didn’t know this place very well.

“Running away from me you filthy demon, filth like you should die off...”

Before he could finish Nate grabbed his throat and growled at him. George grabbed him and started to pull him away from the old man. Ian slumped on the ground the instant Nate removed his hand. Lynn practically flew for her father’s aid; she looked scared helping her father stand. No matter how much of an ass he was Lynn loved him and looked up to him. She learned everything from him. Ian deserved everything that’s happening to him. Or did he? He just acknowledged the filth as I am. He’s just angry of me because I ruined his only daughter’s life. Lynn never deserved any of this. She deserved a normal life. She deserved a family kids and everything.

I sensed Nate stop struggling and look at me, there was pain in his beautiful blue eyes. It was not his, it was mine and I knew it. He knew my pain and he felt it. I don’t know how I knew it but I just knew. George let go of him when Nate stopped struggling.

A moment of silence passed and Ian was back on his feet glaring at Nate.

George cleared his throat

“I’ll show you the guest apartment ”

He said, not wanting to do anything with the problem. He started to lead us but I stood my ground not wanting to do anything with the old fart.

He’s at fault or I’m at fault, not my problem I hate him to the core.

Seeming to sense my reluctance Nate looked at me and said

“I need to talk to you”

All the adults looked at Nate, then at me and then at Nate with a funny expression. I smiled at them

“Oh I’ll be back”

I said giving a sinister grin at Ian and he sneered at me. He grabbed Lynn and he asked looking at George. George gave an uncertain look at us started to walk away Nate’s slight node. Ian started following pulling Lynn with him.

And now who’s running?

“Robin” Nate said when they disappeared into the darkness.

“Nate don’t, just don’t explain anything. You don’t need to explain anything. I perfectly understand why you choose Claire over me. I understand, even I wouldn’t want anything to do with a demon. I don’t want to hear anything I just wanted away from them and I selfishly used you” I stated not daring to look at him.

“Robin stop, hear me out for once. I didn’t choose her over you. I wouldn’t choose anyone over you”

I just looked at him he looked genuine his blue orbs made sure I was listening and he continued

“Do you remember when I said I was always bullied in the pack”

I nodded and he continued

“But in school and college it was a different story, I was completely popular with normal human. Claire is William’s daughter that means my alpha’s daughter. So she got all the attention she could from the time she had born. When she saw that I got more than her in school she wanted it. So we made a contract that I will pretend to be her boyfriend and not talk to anyone other than her and her group then she’ll see to it that I would never get bullied. I never knew she would get serious when I turn into a werewolf”

“You were changed when you were getting bullied so I see she did not do a good job”

“Oh she did a good job. Unfortunately she was out of town when I changed and Samuel and his friends kind of ambushed on me. Yesterday I was going to break the contract with her and tell her sorry for breaking it and thank you for helping me and I wanted to do it in person.”

“You were angry when I hit her”

“I was not angry because she was hurt, okay I was concerned about her but I was hurt because you didn’t believe me enough to wait for me.”

“I’m sorry”

“I loved you the first time I saw you. I didn’t know how to explain it but knew you were the one and the first time after I changed, my wolf knew you but he was too traumatized and attacked you instead and when you forced me in your lap he recognised you and calmed down to being happy in your hands. I knew from that instant that you’re my mate. Robin I fell in love with you the moment I saw and my wolf chose you as my mate”

I looked at him searching his bright blue eyes he looked back into my eyes and his gaze flickered to my lips. He leaned in toward me and I looked away

“Robin what’s wrong?”

“You know everything. You were there when she told me. Then why would you love me? Why would you choose me? I a demon, I’m filth”

He put his finger on my lips

“Don’t you talk yourself down, Robin Bingsley. You’re not just anyone; you’re mine, my mate.”

With that his lips crashed on mine and I was taken off guard but I kissed him back igniting sparks between us. He pulled me closer and I put my hands around his neck. We both pulled back when his stomach growled rather loudly. We laughed at that and he said looking at my stomach pointedly

“I need to feed it too before mine eat me alive”

I tiptoe and kissed his jaw and whispered into his ear

“Talking about rather tastety meals are we?”

There was a mischievous glint in his eyes he said

“Let’s see who’s getting the most treat.”
