Chapter 724
Chapter 724
Juan’s lips quirked into a brief smile “Sure. Whatever you want.”
Shelia blushed, feeling a rush of triumph, but their moment was interrupted when the door creaked open
again.
Joe stepped inside cautiously, only to freeze under Juan’s steely gaze.
“What’s so urgent that you forgot how to knock?” Juan’s voice cut through the air like a blade
Joe stiffened. “I apologize, sir, but there’s an issue at the Houston family’s engagement party.”
Her interest piqued, Shelia asked, “What happened?”
Joe replied, “It seems Mr. Houston and Ms. Frazier are missing.”
“Missing? How is that possible?” Shelia said, observing Juan’s expression
But he remained unruffled. “So what? It’s not our concern.‘
“Understood.”
“You can go.”
“Yes, sir”
Once Joe left, Shelia asked tentatively, “Debra is missing. Do you not care at all?”
Juan replied indifferently, “She’s no one to me. Why should I?”
Shelia’s heart soared, her face lighting up with joy as she leaned into him, whispering, “I knew it. You’re the
best.”
But as she nestled against him, she failed to notice the brief, chilling darkness that flickered in Juan’s eyes.
At the airport, a frantic search was underway
Far above the chaos, in the cabin of a private jet, Debra was bound tightly.
Drake smirked, savoring her helplessness. “Imagine Marion’s reaction when he finds out I’ve taken you.”
Debra struggled against her restraints, but the tape over her mouth stifled her response. Her glare said it all.
“Don’t look at me like that,” Drake sneered. “You lied first.”
If he had known she was involved with Marion, he would have killed her.
The thought of Marion losing his beloved woman excited Drake.
“Boss, we’ll land in four hours”
“Good.”
“She’s disobedient. Should we increase the dosage?”
“Yes, do it.”

Debra struggled, but Drake didn’t give her the chance. He removed the syringe and injected its contents into her body.
Her vision blurred almost instantly, the world around her distorting.
This wasn’t just sedation. It was something far more sinister.
“Let’s see how capable Marion’s woman is,” Drake smirked
Debra’s pupils constricted, and she slumped in the chair, unable to move a muscle.
Before her eyes, one scene after another played out. She seemed to be back in that cold operating room, like a lamb to the slaughter.
The doctor held an ice–cold scalpel, slowly approaching her. A voice, distant yet unmistakably close, whispered in her ear, “Are you scared? If you beg for mercy, I might let you go. Beg me, Debra.”
