Chapter 14 Have You Brought Your Household Register
Jimmy suddenly opened his eyes.
His eyes, which were as cold as an ancient well, stared at the little girl in front of him in disbelief.
"What are you doing?"
This girl cut her wrist and fed him blood.
Joy shivered. She bit her lips, but couldn't help sobbing because of the pain.
"I'm afraid."
Of course, Jimmy knew that she was afraid.
It was so dark here and there was no trace of fresh air. The air was full of musty smell. The guards outside were so cold-blooded. Why didn't they kill him directly? That would be better. After all, death was not terrible. What was terrible was the process of waiting for death.
Jimmy opened his mouth but couldn't say anything to comfort her. He was not good at comforting others.
"Where did I put the note in? Do you think someone will come to save us?"
Looking at the glimmer of light, Joy's little face was full of eagerness.
He didn't expect her to think of this idea. But unfortunately
Jimmy couldn't bear to tell her that he had tried it. He reached out and touched her fluffy little head. After a while, he nodded and said, "Yes, it will."
That woman came. The woman who could not hide the depression on her face even with heavy makeup finally appeared.
She was wearing a pair of high-heeled crystal shoes, and her scarlet lips were like withered flowers.
"After all, he is his son. He really looks like him!"
In fact, Jimmy didn't hate her. He hated his father more than her.
"You are so pitiful!"
"What did you say?" The arrogant smile on the woman's face suddenly stiffened, and her fingers with bright red nails tightly pinched the clothes on Jimmy's chest.
"You are so pitiful. You know he doesn't love you at all, but you still devote yourself to your youth without hesitation. You have been so desperate. Where is he? He has returned to his family obediently, but you, you only have me to vent your anger!"
Strangely enough, Jimmy was not like Lewis or his mother, but like the stubborn Commander Go.
"Believe it or not, I'll kill you right now!"
The black muzzle of the gun pointed at the middle of Jimmy's eyebrows. Jimmy smiled, which was thrilling.
He was not afraid at all. Anyway, he was going to die, but unfortunately, he couldn't make this crying girl upset.
However, at this moment, the fully armed police broke in, led by Commander Go! And the one who gave the clue to the police was a little boy about ten years old!
The little boy held the note written by Joy with blood in his hand. His eyes passed through the crowd and fell directly on Joy.
"Hey, what are you thinking about?"
William waved his hand in front of Jimmy.
Jimmy drank up the red wine in one gulp, put down the glass, grabbed the car key and walked out.
"Hey, what's wrong? Why did you ask me out and you leave here? What the fuck?"
William chased after Jimmy and asked.
"Bro, enjoy yourself. I have something more important to do. I'll treat you tonight."
Jimmy turned his back to William and waved his hand.
Depressed, William gulped down a mouthful of spirits. Jimmy valued a lover more than a friend!
In the winter season, the sunny days for several consecutive days seemed to represent a storm and snow.
In the evening, Joy forgot to close the curtain. In the morning, she was woken up by the white light. She got up and looked out. It snowed profusely all night.
The whole A city was covered with snow.
However, Joy faintly saw a trolley parking at her door.
The car was covered with snow and it was hard to see its original appearance. It seemed that it had been parked here for a night.
Joy's heart skipped a beat. She put on a pair of slippers and ran out.
It was rare for Sean to get up early to make breakfast. Seeing Joy come out, he greeted her to have breakfast.
However, Joy didn't respond him. She opened the door, ran to the car, and touched the snow on the window. The man in the car, who was still sleeping, breathed long, and his long eyelashes cast a circle of light under his eyelids.
Somehow, Joy wanted to cry.
Not to mention whether Jimmy really loved her or not, at least for all these years, no one had done such a thing for her.
"Knock, knock, knock!"
Joy smashed the window hard. When Jimmy opened his eyes, he saw Joy standing outside the car with slightly red eyes. So he opened the door and got off.
"What are you doing? Didn't you go back?"
"Yes, I'm back. Have you brought your household register?"
With one hand in his pocket and the other hand gently tucking the short hair behind Joy's ear, Jimmy asked casually.
Joy was a little surprised, and then she understood what he meant.
"No..."
"Then go back and get it now."
Jimmy's eyes passed through Joy and fell on Sean who was standing at the door.
The eighteen year old boy wore a light colored sweater, and his short chestnut hair was covered with snow.
When Joy entered the room, Sean suddenly held her hand.
"Sister..."
"Sister I made fried eggs and milk for you. Fried eggs are your favorite medium well and milk is fresh bought in the supermarket early in the morning. Can you stay and eat it together?" It was snowing heavily, but his voice was even colder than the wind and snow. His request was so humble.
Joy turned to look at Jimmy, and Jimmy made a mouth gesture to her from afar.
It meant: hurry up!
Gritting her teeth, Joy got rid of Sean's hand, went back to her room to take the household register, turned around and walked out, and said, "Let's eat after I come back."
As it was near December, there were many newly married couples waiting for registration in the Civil Affairs Bureau.
Every couple looked so sweet. These men's eyes were full of love to their women, whether the women were beautiful or ugly.
Holding the paper, Joy hesitated and looked up at the man opposite her.
Jimmy had already finished filling. At this moment, he crossed his arms over his chest and looked coldly at Joy.
'Isn't he just signing a contract?
Why did him show such eagerness and indifference?
"I signed it? Did I really sign it?"
Joy couldn't sign before Jimmy say yes.
"You have no way back!"
Jimmy didn't like her hesitation. He stood up, walked around her, held her hand and taught her to fill in his name in the blank.
As he was so close to her, Joy could even feel his heart beating vigorously across his chest.
There was a special fragrance on Jimmy, like a faint mint, cool and thorough.
Joy's heart was pounding wildly. She exerted force to her hand, and the brush at the end of the line penetrated the back of the paper, which was particularly conspicuous. Jimmy rolled his eyes at her, but he didn't take it seriously since he had signed the contract. ☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
