Blood mage: They use blood—both their own or someone else’s—to cast spells.

Elemental: Can bend the four elements to their will. Some can bend metal to their will.

Animal spirit summoner: Has an animal's soul tied to theirs that they can shift into, and summon energy from them.

Death mage: They pull magic and energy from nearby deaths.

The Great Heat: When all the suns of the realm move closer to the lands, creating a heatwave that lasts several months.
