Chapter 25: Help

ADRIANA'S POV

I have been feeling a nagging pain in my chest for days. It was a dull ache that seemed to linger no matter what I did. I tried to ignore it, thinking that it was just a passing discomfort, but it only seemed to grow worse with each passing day.

Breathing was becoming harder and my heart felt heavy. I tried to eat and drink but the food and water tasted bland and I barely ate anything. I would lay in my bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling hopeless and helpless. I cried myself to sleep every night, thinking of all the things that had happened to me. The pain became so severe that it was hard for me to move around and it was getting harder to breathe. Something was wrong and I was getting weaker by the day, but I couldn't tell what it was. I just knew that I needed help and I tried to keep it away from Daciana, thinking it would go. But I was wrong. It kept growing, getting worse.

I spent my days curled up in my bed, tears streaming down my face. I was consumed by a deep sense of sadness and helplessness. Every day felt like an eternity as I was trapped inside this small room with no escape. My heart ached for freedom. I replayed the events that led to my being locked up, how I went to see Aiden and how I was caught. I also thought about how Donovan had lied to Xander and how I was being used as a pawn in their game. There was no way I could have done anything differently, the end game would have been the same for all

I tried to distract myself by reading or by listening to music but nothing seemed to take away the pain. Even when I slept, I was still plagued by nightmares and woke up drenched in sweat. My wounds soon became fresh and painful again, needing medical attention. But no one came to check on me, and I was left to suffer alone. My stomach growled with hunger, but no one brought my food, not even Daciana. I wondered what had gone wrong. I just hoped nothing had happened to her.

I cried myself silly every day, my tears a never-ending stream as I was trapped in this beautiful prison with no end in sight. My heart ached for the outside, for some love and protection, but all I was met with was silence and neglect. I couldn't say my father's pack was better than here, it felt like they were the same, bringing me pain but in different ways.

My depression deepened as the days passed. I was consumed by a sense of hopelessness and despair. I fell into a deep depression, and my physical and mental health started to deteriorate Looking at myself in the mirror, my once bright and sparkling eyes were now dull and sunken, my skin was pale and clammy, my hair was unkempt and my body was frail. I lost interest in eating, and my weight dropped significantly. I was plagued by constant headaches and my wounds were not healing.

I started to feel weak and dizzy, and I could hardly move from my bed. My sleep was plagued by constant nightmares and I hardly slept. I felt like I was slowly dying, and I had lost all will to live. I tried to reach out to the guards, but I got no response. I tried to reach out to Daciana, but I was not allowed to see her. I felt completely isolated and alone, with no one to turn to for help.

I was very sick, and my condition became critical. I was in dire need of medical attention, but it seemed like no one cared about my well-being. I was trapped in a never-ending nightmare with no escape.l was in a near death situation when the door to my room finally opened. I was lying on my bed, barely conscious and barely able to open my eyes. My body was weak and frail, my skin was dry and cold, and I was barely breathing. I was on the brink of passing out, my mind and body exhausted from days of neglect and abuse.

Daciana rushed to my side and was horrified by the sight of me. She was shocked at how I had deteriorated in such a short time. She immediately called out for the physician and some maids to come to her room. The physician checked my vitals and found that I was in critical condition. He quickly started to treat my wounds and gave me some medication to stabilize her condition. The maids brought in some food and water, and Daciana tried to help me to eat and drink but I could barely lift any part of my body.

That's when she discovered that this wasn't like every other time. She ordered everyone to leave immediately.

I could hardly open my eyes and I was too weak to speak. Daciana held my hand and promised me that she would take care of me and that she would make sure that I got the medical attention she needed.

Daciana was not one to take things lying down. She immediately ordered the guards standing by my door to help her carry me to the hospital. She was not going to let me die in that room.

The guards hesitated at first, not knowing what to do. They were under orders from Xander to keep me locked up and not let anyone in or out. But Daciana was not one to be trifled with. She was the Alpha's sister and she had a lot of influence in the pack.

She stood up and yelled at them, her voice filled with authority and urgency. "What are you waiting for? Help me carry her to the infirmary now!"

The guards quickly obliged, and they helped Daciana to lift me off the bed. They carried me out of the room and down the passageway to the hospital. Daciana walked beside us, holding my hand and talking to me softly, trying to keep me conscious.

The guards were surprised by Daciana's actions, but they knew better than to question her. They quickly followed her orders and made sure that they did as she said. They helped carry me down the edifice and wedged me into Daciana's auto.

The car was a sleek black Mercedes-Benz, with a shiny exterior that glistens in the sunlight. The body was sleek and aerodynamic, with a curved design that gives it a sporty look. The car sat low to the ground, with large alloy wheels that gave it an aggressive stance. The windows were tinted, providing privacy for its occupants. The car was equipped with the latest technology, including a touch screen display, GPS navigation, and a premium sound system. The interior was upholstered in black leather, with comfortable seats that provide ample support. The dashboard was made of wood and aluminum, with a sleek design that gave a sophisticated look.

Daciana quickly jumped into the driver's seat of the car and started the engine with a roar. She revved the engine a few times, making sure that it was running smoothly before putting the car into gear. She pulled out of the driveway and onto the road, her car quickly picking up speed as she drove towards the hospital. She was focused on the road ahead, her eyes scanning the area as she drove. She seemed used to the car's speed as she handled it well, easily maneuvering through the streets and making sharp turns when necessary. The car's suspension was smooth and comfortable, making the ride easy on me who was in the back seat.

Daciana was determined to get me to the hospital as quickly as possible. She knew that time was of the essence and that I needed to get medical attention as soon as possible. The hospital is a large, modern building with a sleek and modern design. The exterior was made of glass and steel, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood in. The entrance was grand, with a large glass door that slid open automatically as we approached. The lobby was spacious and well-lit, with a marble floor and high ceilings. The reception desk was made of granite and was manned by friendly nurses who greeted them with a smile.

The hospital was equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including a fully-equipped emergency room, operating rooms, and a laboratory. The hospital has a variety of specialties, including surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics. The hospital was also equipped with an Intensive Care Unit, which was where I was taken for treatment.

Daciana rushed towards the reception desk, calling out for a nurse. The nurses responded immediately, and they quickly came to her aid. They quickly moved me onto a stretcher and wheeled me towards the emergency room.

Daciana followed behind, her heart pounding with worry as she watched the nurses work to stabilize me. They hooked me up to monitors and administered IV fluids to keep me hydrated. They also cleaned and bandaged my wound, which was still bleeding.

I was barely conscious and my breathing was shallow, but the nurses assured Daciana that I was stable and that they will do everything they can to make sure I'm comfortable. Daciana nodded, tears streaming down her face as she watched them work. She seemed grateful for their help knowing that I was in good hands.

Daciana leaned over me, tears streaming down her face as she begged me to hold on. She took my hand and squeezed it tightly, willing me to be strong.

"Please Adriana, don't give up,” Daciana pleads, her voice shaking with emotion. "You have to fight, you have to hold on. I know you're strong, you can do this."

My eyes fluttered open and I looked at Daciana with a weak smile. "I'll try,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. "I'll try."

Daciana nodded, tears staining her cheeks as she watched the medical team work to save my life. I knew that it would be a long road to recovery, but she looked determined to be by my side every step of the way. She would do anything to help me heal and get me out of that room.

It seemed as though something inside of me was snapping. A deep, overwhelming sense of despair enveloped me, like my entire world was falling apart. My body felt weak and my mind was clouded with negative thoughts. I felt like I had hit rock bottom and there was no way out. The physical pain from my wound and the emotional pain from the isolation and constant fear, was too much for me to bear. I felt like I was suffocating under the weight of it all and I couldn't take it anymore. I felt like I was losing my mind. I couldn't stop the tears from falling, and as I cried I felt like my heart was breaking. It seemed as if I had reached the end of my rope and I couldn't hold on anymore, like I was going to die and it was all their fault.

As the doctors worked on me, Daciana was asked to step out of the room. She reluctantly obliged, helpless and worried for me. She paced outside the room, her heart heavy with worry and guilt. The doctors surrounded me, working quickly to stabilize my condition. One of them injected something into my arm, and within minutes, I was gradually slipping into unconsciousness. Daciana watched through the window, tears streaming down her face as she prayed for my recovery.

I knew that she wouldn't leave my side, not until she knew that I was going to be okay. She sat outside the room, waiting for any updates from the doctors. She looked as though she felt guilty for not being able to do more to help me, but she was determined to make sure that I got the care I needed.
