Forgive me

Chapter 14 End and a new beginning

Shortly after leaving, a familiar voice was heard near the cabin, where they both went to get dressed, because as much as they wanted to, now was no time for tenderness, and Hope ran like the wind into both of their arms, leaving Derek and Anna behind her.

Now Emma could see the wounds on Arden, which were already healing, but that didn’t make it any easier, finally hugging her little girl and the man she loved, she could be truly happy.

She tried not to cry when she saw her friend alive and well, who couldn’t help but burst into tears when she hugged her, which saddened Derek even more, regardless of the circumstances, since her round belly was already showing.

Emma saw that which made her even happier for everything, hoping that one day she too would get the same chance for happiness.

The witches had already largely restored the state to its former condition, except that the dead could not return...

This was something that they would have to deal with for the rest of their life because every pack lives in danger of being discovered by enemies who want it dead, and they, like other species, want their way of life and peace, because you are what you are, you don’t choose where and how you are born.

Slowly everything calmed down, the dead were honored, and the wounded were taken care of, but the time of sadness must pass, to be replaced by happiness.

On the way out, the witches came to talk to Emma and Arden. Sena, the oldest among them and the leader, spoke on behalf of everyone, and she wanted only the two of them to hear it, for safety reasons, so she was alone with them, in the office, which had soundproof walls.

“Alpha, Luna, it’s time to go and honor our sister Fay, who sacrificed herself, not just for Luna Emma, but for all of us,” she said, confusing both of them.

“I’m glad I found out her name, I’ll be grateful to her for the rest of my life, and all of you,” Emma said, her voice shaking, but like Luna, she had to stay composed, for the sake of the whole pack.

“You are a silver wolf Emma, with a black dot on your forehead, who has the shape of infinity, but only the chosen know it, and not everyone can see it.”

“This means you were born to bring peace and harmony among werewolves, vampires, witches, and all kinds that exist, including the human race, but you are also a healer, which is rare, as they were all thought to be dead.”

“Because of this, your life was in danger, and unfortunately, it will continue to be as well as the lives of Hope and your unborn child you’re carrying, considering that they are also healers ”, she said, leaving Emma and Arden in shock.

“No, Alpha, you couldn’t feel it, because the healer hides the pregnancy if she’s in danger until she’s sure she’s not, but there’s something positive about all of this,” she smiled.”

“As many evil as there are, there are more good souls who are ready to protect you, because no one can touch a healer, especially a silver one, without dire consequences, to be damned forever.”

“Therefore, you and your family will forever be under the protection of me and my sisters, as well as everyone else in existence, and if you ever need me, just say my name three times to yourself, and I will be there.”

“I’m going now, knowing you’re in good hands,” she smiled, disappearing in a puff of white smoke as she came.”

Arden immediately lowered himself to her stomach, smiling, then picked her up and kissed her passionately. “She was right, you are pregnant, but I don’t hear one, but two hearts,” he whispered seductively, kissing her neck.

“Jesus, we’re going to need more space”,” she sighed, shivering at his touches.

“Hmm, he mumbled.

“What do you think we should go look up, how to fix it?“ He looked at her seductively, and she screamed in surprise, when he picked her up in his arms, hurrying upstairs.

After the ceremony of acceptance into the pack, and the birth of Anna and Derek’s son Kane, who was identical to his father, the days passed more or less quickly, and things slowly returned to normal, except for Emma.

Her belly was growing slower than it should have, but that was because of who she was, and Stone didn’t want to take any chances when it came to babies.

Of course, Arden was also overprotective, he didn’t even let her in the bathroom without telling him, trying to make it as easy as possible for her, including Hope in everything.

Even though she wasn’t his biological daughter, he thought he wouldn’t love her more even if she was, and she adored him, looking forward to babies.

Mason and Sara had no peace, using every free moment to visit them, declaring themselves grandparents because they felt the same about Hope.

The night of the full moon didn’t let Emma sleep, and she kept getting up and walking around the room, trying not to wake Arden, but she didn’t know that he wasn’t sleeping at all and he heard her every step, feeling that something was wrong, and when he heard a scream from the bathroom, he knew what was it.

He found Emma standing in a puddle of water in front of the mirror.

“I think it’s time,” she said quietly, with a scared look on her face, but Arden wasn’t fazed.

“It’s okay, my happiness, I’m here,” he whispered, gently picking her up in his arms.

It was long hours for everyone, the whole pack woke up with her first scream, and no one slept, waiting for the twins to be born.

Sara and Mason were more nervous than Emma, so the doctor almost chased them out of the room, until they calmed down, because they made Emma more nervous, which angered the even more nervous Arden, who successfully hid it.

But not from Emma, who, when he sat next to her on the bed, told him that she knew everything would be fine because she had him by her side.

Sara went to the house to be with Hope, as did Mason, where Derek and Anna were already with their son because Emma’s labor was getting more frequent and it was time for her to give birth.

She was holding Arden’s hands tightly, trying to push as hard as she could, when she heard the cry of her first twin.

It was a boy, with hair like hers and Arden’s eyes, and when he took him in his arms, he could barely contain himself from breaking down with happiness.

It was time for the second child, but Emma was already exhausted and had to let Stone heal her so she could give birth, which didn’t take long, because after half an hour she transformed back and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, with hair like Arden’s and blue eyes like hers, and that was a highlight for Arden because his eyes immediately watered.

As he sat next to the waterfall, and with the woman, he loved more than life itself, and his three children, Arden had never felt so peaceful and blissful in his entire life, grateful for everything.

For forgiveness, love, and the opportunity he was given, and vowed always to be a better man, the kind Emma and their children deserve.

“I love you, the way you are,” she whispered, looking at him lovingly, knowing what he meant.

“I love you more than you’ll ever know, just the way you’ve always been,” he replied in the same tone, lowering his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.
