Forever and Always

Chapter Seven

Alexa's POV

I emerged from the shower and slipped into a stunning red one-shoulder dress that elegantly hugged my curves. It reached down to my knees, making me feel both classy and confident. After finishing drying my hair, I picked up my phone and called Emily. She arrived shortly after and worked her magic, skillfully doing my makeup and hair.

“Wow, girl! You look absolutely stunning!” Emily exclaimed, clearly impressed with her own handiwork. I giggled in response.

“Thank you, Em.”

“Let’s head downstairs and wait for your Prince Charming to arrive,” she suggested playfully, guiding me down the stairs.

As the doorbell rang, Emily eagerly answered it, revealing Felix standing there. He wore a brown shirt and black pants, with a coat adding an extra layer of sophistication. His eyes widened when he saw me, and I couldn’t help but blush. Pecking his cheek, I greeted him.

“Hey, you.” I smiled as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

His gaze roamed over me as he praised, “Woah!” His lips found my temple, and his hand lingered on my waist. “You look stunning, Cupcake,” he continued, earning an even brighter blush from me.

“You look good too,” I managed to reply, feeling my cheeks heat up even more. He rewarded my response with a gentle kiss on my temple before leading me out of the house. I waved Emily goodbye and hopped into the car with Felix.

Just as we were about to start driving, a black Jeep pulled up, and Mike climbed out. My eyes met Emily’s, and she blushed, causing Felix to smirk knowingly before we drove away.

We parked in front of an upscale restaurant that exuded an air of sophistication. Felix quickly reached my side, opening the door for me.

“After you, my lady,” he said with a charming smile. I giggled and took his offered hand before stepping inside.

We took the elevator to the 55th floor, and I leaned my head against his shoulder as we ascended. Once the elevator doors opened, we stepped into a spacious room with an incredible view. Fairy lights adorned the space, and massive glass windows showcased a breathtaking city skyline. I was so taken aback by the sight that it felt like the ground might drop beneath me as I approached the windows.

Felix’s warm hands wrapped around my waist, pulling me into his solid chest as he rested his chin on my shoulder. His lips brushed against my ear, and he whispered, “Do you like it?”

I nodded, unable to suppress my excitement. “I love it!” I giggled, turning to face him and pulling him into a passionate kiss.

As we broke apart, a strand of my hair fell loose from my bun. Felix gently tucked it behind my ear without breaking our connection. His fingers lingered on my hair, and he removed the rubber band holding my bun in place, allowing my curls to cascade down my shoulder.

I let out a soft moan of appreciation, and it became evident that the moment was ripe for another kiss. Our lips met again, but this time, the kiss held a gentleness that stirred my heart.

“You’re so beautiful, Alexa,” he murmured, his sincerity sending a warm shiver through me. He lifted my hand to his lips, placing a tender kiss on my skin. His lips then graced my forehead before he led me to the table, his hand firmly holding mine. As we settled into our seats, a waiter arrived to take our orders.

Soon after, three men dressed in black entered the room, each carrying an instrument. We enjoyed our meal, and as I wiped my mouth with a tissue, the room filled with music. I glanced at Felix, and he extended a hand, inviting me to dance.

I smiled, placing my hand in his, and we rose from our seats together. Our bodies pressed close, Felix’s arms encircled my waist, and we swayed gently to the music. With him, I felt a sense of contentment and comfort that erased the world around us.

As the minutes passed, the room emptied, leaving only us behind.

Felix guided me to another door adjoining the room. Upon entering, I discovered a setup that left me grinning from ear to ear: a large flat-screen TV, a spacious king-sized bed, and a pile of comfy blankets. A selection of snacks like chips and ice cream completed the cozy scene.

My eyes sparkled as I looked up at Felix. Nervously scratching his head, he explained, “I didn’t want our first date to be all high-class and fancy. I just wanted to cuddle with you while watching some stupid show on Netflix. But I also wanted to spoil you, so I combined both ideas.”

I threw myself at him, planting a peck on his lips. “Thank you, I love it too.” I could sense his relief, and he lifted me up in his arms, making me squeal with surprise, and carried me to the bed.

Giggling, he showered my cheek with quick kisses. Eventually, he removed his shirt, revealing his well-built physique. I grabbed his shirt and walked into the bathroom. After removing my dress, I buttoned his shirt up and allowed it to fall just short of my derriere.

“You look so hot, Lex,” he commented, a suggestive smirk playing on his lips.

I settled between his legs, a packet of chips in my hand as he put on a show for us. Suddenly, my phone rang.

“Hey, little pumpkin,” my dad’s voice sounded through the phone. I smiled.

“Hey, Dad.”

“Listen, there’s a slight problem, so we won’t be coming home tonight. Take care, alright?”

“Sure.” I hung up the call, my attention now back on Felix.

For the rest of the night, we watched shows and cuddled, punctuated with passionate moments that left me feeling closer to him than ever before.

As the hours ticked away, and the night grew darker, I realized that being in Felix’s arms was exactly where I wanted to be.
