Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 729

"OMG! I'm so excited! I saw the goddess again!"

The moment Abbey walked in, she grabbed everyone's attention. They all looked at her with awe, completely forgetting about Flora.

Could Flora even compare to Abbey?

No way!

Joy was already scared stiff when Flora brought out the purchase records, her face as white as a sheet. Seeing Abbey, she felt a rush of desperation.

"Ms. Abbey, I did everything you told me to. You have to help me!"

Noticing Joy's pleading look, Abbey silently cursed her for being such an idiot.

She had been observing for a while and couldn't believe how useless Joy was. Couldn't even handle this minor issue.

She turned to Mr. Tanner and said calmly, "Seems like there's a bit of a situation here."

Mr. Tanner was too frustrated to respond properly. "Yes, a slight issue, but Ms. Abbey, there's no need for you to worry. We'll take care of it."

Abbey brushed her hair back and smiled, "I've pretty much figured out what's going on, Mr. Tanner. It's best not to blow this out of proportion."

"The Medical League is just around the corner. If word about today's incident gets out to other countries, even Lone Island, it would only tarnish Austenberg's reputation." Mr. Tanner's face darkened.

He knew very well what it would look like.

The state medical department organizing an exam, only for someone from the same department to frame a candidate for cheating-how would that look?

The state medical department represents all of Austenberg. If this spreads, they would be the laughingstock of the world.

They might even be barred from participating in the Medical League.

Abbey continued calmly, "Let's deal with any issues after the competition ends."

"Ms. Flora's innocence has been proven. I believe Ms. Flora isn't one to hold grudges. For the honor of Austenberg, she wouldn't keep pushing, would she?"

She was essentially putting Flora on a pedestal.

Flora smiled.

Seeing Abbey trying so hard to downplay the situation, Flora's eyes narrowed, her tone slow but firm, "So, you're involved in this too." Her tone was confident.

She had suspected it before, and now she was certain.

After all, she and Joy had no history, hadn't even met. Why would someone go to such lengths to frame her?

If it involved Abbey, then it all made sense.

Abbey's face stiffened; she hadn't expected Flora to be so blunt.

Elijah shouted angrily, "Flora, are you paranoid? What does this have to do with our Miss? What status does our Miss hold, and what are you in comparison that she would bother framing you?"

"Yeah, Flora's getting more and more ridiculous. Does she think the whole world is out to get her?"

"Ms. Abbey has such a good temper. If I were Ms. Abbey, being treated like this time and again by Flora, I would have lost it long ago."

If Flora was the main character earlier, with Ms. Abbey's arrival, she was now just a side character, a mere backdrop.

Most of the people present were siding with Abbey, especially those who already disliked Flora. Their criticisms were even harsher.

They all thought Abbey had no

reason to frame Flora. Someone frames another usually out of jealousy, but Flora, whether in terms of family background, looks, or` talent, was far behind Abbey Why would Abbey bother framing her?

Abbey's lips curled into a smile as she looked down at Flora from her greater height. This was the difference between Flora and her.

Mr. Tanner had already decided to prioritize the bigger picture.
