Chapter 51
The auctioneer said, "7,000,000 dollars once! 7,000,000 dollars twice! 7,000,000 dollars, deal!"
The auctioneer pounded his gavel. Raymond got "the Eternal Love" with 7,000,000 dollars.
The guests weren't surprised that it was Raymond who got "the Eternal Love". It was surprising that the woman had the guts to compete with Raymond. At that time, many guests recognized Scarlett. They had a lively discussion.
Raymond looked down. He was more than ten meters away from the woman. There were a lot of people. He wasn't sure if the woman was Scarlett. The auction was over. Scarlett was reluctant to meet Tiffany and Julie. She carried her bag and followed the crowds to leave.
In the private room on the second floor.
Julie followed Tiffany to the private room. Julie said," Ray, congratulations!"
Raymond glanced at Julie coldly and said, "Miss Woods, do you have a bad memory? I told you not to call me 'Ray' last time. I'm not that familiar with you." Tiffany said, "Ray, how can you...?"
Tiffany wanted to defend Julie. However, when Tiffany met Raymond's cold gaze, she was shocked and didn't have the guts to say anything.
Raymond said, "Excuse me, please do not block my way."
Raymond showed no respect to the Woods family at all. Julie's face turned pallor. She went aside.
Raymond strode away.
Alexander followed Raymond. Raymond threw a cheque to him and said, "Please help me finish the formalities."
Alexander asked, "Then what about you?"
Raymond didn't reply but walked far away.
Alexander cursed. Tiffany came up to him and said,' Alexander, I didn't drive my car today. Could you please give me a ride?"
Alexander knew Tiffany's thoughts. He refused, "I would love to, but I drive a sports car today. I need to take Mary home later."
They all knew that Mary was a Labrador of the Smith family.
Alexander's excuse meant that Tiffany did not compare with his dog.
Tiffany stood there. Her face turned ashen in anger. After Alexander left, she cursed, "How dare you be so arrogant? You haven't been in charge of the Smith Family yet!"
At that time, Julie walked out of the private room and said, "Tiffany, they say that the woman who competed with your brother is Ms. Reed."
Tiffany's attention was drawn to the topic immediately. She said, "Scarlett? How is it possible? Why does she have so much money?"
She thought of something suddenly and said angrily," She just has a small entertainment company. How dare she be so arrogant?"
Julie compressed her lips and kept silent. She always felt that Scarlett was strange, but she didn't know why.
Raymond walked out of the auction and saw Scarlett from far away.
It was strange. He had married Scarlett for three years, but he had never remembered her face. However, after they got a divorce, he even could recognize her from her back. He didn't know why.
It was not nice.
What was worse, he even came up to her and stopped her. He said, "Do you also want to buy the piano?"
When he reached out to stop her suddenly, she looked up at him and was surprised. She didn't expect to see him.
She admitted directly, "I'm interested in the piano. Does Mr. Shaw want to give it to me?"
If so, she would accept it cheekily. After all, it decided if she could get the stocks of the Hreegronia Corporation.
Scarlett wore casually today. She wore a light blue sweater and a white skirt. She wore her hair down and didn't put on any make-up.
When Raymond saw her, he was moved.
He had never seen a woman who was gentle but flamboyant at the same time. Scarlett was such a woman.
Her voice was gentle, cold and charming.
Raymond looked at her and said, "Do you like the piano?"
