Flirting With My Ex-husband

Chapter 45

Mark raised his eyebrows, "Since then, I'll call the police."

Then he took out his cell phone and was about to call the traffic police.

Raymond, who was standing aside, looked at him coldly. "If you're not afraid to make headlines on the entertainment page tomorrow, I will wait for the police."

Mark's expression stiffened. He had been in negotiation about a leading role for a movie recently. If this negative news broke at this time, it would jeopardize his work and he might miss out on the role.

Mark certainly did not want to call the traffic police, but neither did he want to be blackmailed by Raymond. However, Raymond now had a hold on him. Mark could only pay for the accident. "OK, fine. I will give you $100,000."

However, suddenly, Raymond didn't want $100,000 anymore. "Tell the woman in the car to come out and apologize to me. I don't need your money."

Mark was exasperated. "Mr. Shaw, I know you're rich, but I can afford to pay you $100,000."

Raymond changed his mind. He didn't care about

that. He snapped, "Get her out of the car or I'll call the police! It's your choice."

"Don't go too far, Raymond!"

He didn't want Scarlett to get involved in this matter.

However, just as Mark finished speaking, a light female voice sounded, "Mr. Shaw, what do you want from me?"

It was Scarlett. She quietly pushed open the car door and stepped down.

Seeing her, Mark's face changed color. "Scarlett."

Scarlett smiled at Mark, "It's okay. Go back inside the car. I'll handle it."

She had just been waiting in the car, but after a couple of minutes, things hadn't been resolved. She realized that Raymond was making it difficult for Mark, so she got out of the car.

As soon as she got out of the car, she heard Raymond give Mark two options. After a little thought, she thought it was likely that she had pissed off Raymond the last time she kissed Mark at the club. Actually, she also felt regretful about it. After the divorce, she had a wonderful life. Raymond, her ex-husband, was like from one hundred years ago to her.

The hell, it was all out of impulse at that moment!

Mark wanted to say something, but he met Scarlett's confident eyes, so he held back. He nodded and went back inside the car.

Alexander was stunned by Scarlett today. He knew Scarlett was a gorgeous woman, but in the past three years, Scarlett had been quietly staying at home. She occasionally attended parties, but her dress-up used to be moderate. She never dressed up delicately, or even dressed plainly.

Now she was all dressed up like a dusty pearl had been polished. She looked so stunning.

While Alexander was still amazed by Scarlett's beauty, he saw Raymond, who was standing aside, cast a cold glance at him.

Alexander wanted to watch this scene, but with Raymond's chill glance, he had to go back inside the car.

Raymond stared at Scarlett, and he didn't know if it was the makeup or something else, her cheeks were radiant, and the look in her eyes was nonchalant. Her ankle-length dress fit her perfectly, giving out her slim waist.

Looking at the woman, Raymond somehow felt like wrapping a coat around her to cover her up.

This thought annoyed Raymond. But what annoyed him even more was the kiss a few hours earlier.

Scarlett was waiting for Raymond to say something, but before he did, she lost her patience. She raised her eyebrows, "Mr. Shaw?"

Hearing her prodding, Raymond's eyes darkened, "Get out of here."

Scarlett's smile faded, "Thank you, Mr. Shaw."

She said it politely, but her smile was bland. She had a distant and cold air around her.

Raymond felt as if something had stabbed him in the heart. He felt tight in his chest.
