Chapter 1452
Alison had fair skin. When Luis glanced at her, he noticed that her arms were sunburned. He couldn't help but frown, "You're not wearing sunscreen?" 'Don't all the girls wear sunscreen in summer?'
Alison froze. After a few seconds, she shook her head, "What's sunscreen?"
"The sun is strong in summer. You can easily get sunburned at the beach. Girls all use sunscreen in the summer."
Alison looked at Luis in embarrassment," I've never used that before."
Looking at Alison's legs and arms all reddened, Luis knew Alison was
sunburned.
"Let's go back. We'll come back tomorrow evening. Let's go back to the hotel and change our clothes."
Alison then got up and obediently followed Luis leaving the beach.
Alison went into the shower, washed the sand off her feet, and changed into her clothes. Then they went back to the hotel.
"Take a shower first." Luis demanded.
Alison stopped in front of her room door and nodded, "Okay."
She had changed into jeans and a T-shirt, and her arms looked even redder.
Luis glanced at her arm and said, "Go into your room. I'm going to get something."
Then he turned to walk back to the elevator. Alison didn't think much of it. She went into her room, showered, and changed into a dress Alexis had bought for her earlier. Although Alison hadn't been into the water at the beach, her hair was getting sticky after two hours at the beach. She could smell the salty smell in her hair, so she washed her hair. As she was drying her hair, the doorbell rang. She was startled, and she almost dropped the hair dryer.
Alison turned off the hair dryer and ran out to answer the door on her slippers.
"Luis?"
"Are you done showering?"
Alison's hair was still wet. Her long hair was cascading on her back and stuck to her face, which made her face look so small.
Luis handed her a bottle of aloe vera cream. "Apply it to the sunburned areas before you go to bed."
Alison froze. She looked down at her reddened arm, and then she realized Luis had especially bought it for her.
Alison was touched. She took the aloe cream and muttered, "Thank you, Luis."
Luis glanced at her again, "I'm going to take a shower. We'll go to dinner in fifteen minutes."
"Okay."
Alison watched Luis walk into his room and then look down at the aloe vera cream in her hand. She couldn't help but curl the corners of her lips and smile.
'Luis is so considerate!' Alison stood in the doorway for a moment. It wasn't until drops of water dripped from her hair onto her hands that she regained her senses. She needed to blow dry her hair!
Fifteen minutes later, Alison was dressed, and her hair was tied back.
Luis was right on time. Fifteen minutes later, just as Alison replied to Alexa's message, her doorbell rang.
Alison grabbed her bag and got up to open the door.
Luis had already changed. He was wearing long pants and a white T-shirt. His hair had just been washed. It hadn't been completely blown dry. Some of the ends of his hair were still wet.
Alison had braided her hair into a herringbone braid, leaving only two thin strands of hair on her forehead. She was wearing a chiffon floral dress. She looked fresh and lovely.
Seeing her smile, Luis wanted to reach out and rub her face, but he resisted the impulse. "Let's go have dinner."
"Great."
Alison closed the door and followed Luis outside.
'Dinner! Yay!'
