“You insolent little twat! Do you have any idea of the sacrifices that were made to put you in this position?” Trent, Carmela’s father, barks at her. “I thought you said Tatum loves you, that it will be enough for you to take his side as Luna.”

“There is only one solution and I should have done it years ago, Leila needs to die. Listening to your foolish whims put us in this position and now you cannot even finish the job. How pathetic.”

fixed on the floor.

Trent grunts. “That is no excuse for you to have killed Bobby. We will always need someone to do the dirty job.”

“Then we will get another person. The world is short of rogues and criminals, Bobby was becoming a liability and he had to go. If he was caught, it would have ruined everything. He was a rogue, his loyalty is to his coin, not to our family.”
